The Loss of Gio

Flora's feeling was suddenly unpleasant. His thoughts continued to be on Gio. Flora felt that something bad happened to her husband.

Flora who was sitting on the sofa suddenly stood up. Flora had called her husband's cell phone number many times, just the busy tone that Flora had heard and after that Gio had not received a call from her.

Repeatedly Flora looked at the time on the clock that was coiled around her wrist, it had been forty-five minutes, but gio had yet to return.

Isn't that too long?

“Mas Abi, why was Gio so long.” Flora's tone sounded so anxious.

“I don't know either, Ma'am,” Abi replied. “I'll try to catch up with him,” Abi continued.

“I'm coming. I really feel anxious. I was worried something happened to him,” Flora said.

Flora suddenly remembered a message from an unknown number the other day. A message that says if that person will destroy Gio's life.

“Alright, come,” said Abi.

Flora, Susan, and Abi left the waiting room after leaving their belongings. As they enter the elevator, they cross paths with the hotel staff who take Gio to the room.

Flora intercepts the hotel staff's steps and asks Gio about her.

“You were the one who took my husband to the room we previously occupied, right?” asked Flora who was immediately embraced by the hotel staff. “Then where is my husband?”

“Mistress, your husband has already left before that room,” she replied.

“Then where is he?” Flora asked again.

“Sorry, Madam .. I don't know,” she replied again.

Flora was silent not knowing what to talk about. His eyes were filled with tears.

“Sorry, Madam .. I'm sorry. I still have a lot of work,” said the hotel staff.

“Come, Mom .. We find Gio's father elsewhere,” take Susan

Flora nodded weakly followed by her teardrops. Flora was afraid that something bad might happen to her husband.

They get into the elevator. She pressed one of the buttons in the elevator. The elevator door opened, the three of them immediately exited the elevator. They walked down the floor where their room had been before.

“Where exactly did Gio go? He didn't even pick up the phone from me, Flora's inner”.

They searched for almost half an hour. But the results are still nil. Flora felt more anxious and anxiety that made Flora tired. Not only did his mind feel tired, Flora's body felt tired as well. Flora decided to take a break. Flora squatted down to rest her body.

“Mother Flora! Is it okay?” ask Susan.

Susan looked anxious when she saw that Flora seemed to feel extremely exhausted.

“Come, Mom .. We should find a place for Mom to rest,” Susan.

“Susan, is Abi's mas back?” ask Flora.

“But I saw the CCTV footage at this hotel. It turns out that mas Gio went to the basement after exiting the hotel room you previously occupied,” said Abi.

“Basement?” Flora's confused. “What's he going to the basement for? What does Gio do in the basement?” ask Flora.

“I don't know either, the CCTV ma'am in the basement is dead too. I can't see anything there,” replied Abi.

“Then ...what are you waiting for? Come now we go to the basement,” take Flora.

“But, Mom .. I'd better take a break. I look so exhausted,” Susan said.

“Iya, Ma'am. Better get some rest. Ma'am looks tired. I've asked security for help here. So relax,” said Abi.

Flora tried to stand up with Susan's help, although fatigue still felt in her body.

“Mother sure you can still walk?” ask Susan.

“Ya already ... let's go to the basement immediately,” continued Flora.

Flora, Abi, and Susan re-enter the elevator. Abi presses the elevator button that will take them to the basement.

The three exited the elevator after arriving at the basemant. The atmosphere in the basement is quite dark due to the minimal illumination. Flora was circling the basement with Abi and Susan.

Flora is still trying to get in touch with Gio's phone. But not connected.

“We'd better split up,” suggested Flora.

“Alright, Ma'am,” said Abi.

“Mbak go with Susan. I will go there myself,” said Abi who was immediately signed by Flora and Susan.

The three were still circling in the basement area for almost half an hour. They had also met with three security people who helped them find Gio.

“Did you guys find my husband's whereabouts?” ask Flora.

“Not yet, Madam,” replied one of those Security.

“What have you tried to contact your husband's mobile number?” ask Security.

“I've contacted him many times, but he didn't pick him up,” replied Flora.

Flora was really worried. Such great anxiety made Flora shed her tears.

“Susan, where exactly is my husband?” Flora spoke in between her sobs.

“Sabar, Ms. .. we will definitely find Mr. Gio.” Susan rubbed both of Flora's shoulders.

“I'm worried, Susan. I was afraid something might happen to him. Someone had sent me a message. He said it would destroy Gio's life,” explained Flora.

“Don't think badly first, Mom. Maybe it was a simple message. We pray that Mr. Gio will be fine.” Susan tried to make Flora think positively.

“Come, Mom we'll find again,” Susan.

Flora nodded. They stepped back with three security people behind them.

Flora stepped up as she shouted calling out Gio's name. It's been over an hour they've been looking for Gio. However, there is no result at all.

It should be exactly at five in the afternoon they arrive at the airport and fly to Indonesia. They are forced to delay their return because Gio disappeared without a trace.

“Mbak, have you found anything?” ask Abi.

“Not yet, Mas Abi.” Flora replied in a hoarse voice. “Mas Abi by yourself?” Flora asked Abi and was answered by Abi.

“Yes God ... where my husband is,” Flora said.

Flora tried to dial her husband's phone number again. This time the call was connected.

“Why he didn't pick up his phone.” Flora kept trying to call her husband's cell phone number with her anxiety.

Flora's eyes accidentally saw a light object under one of the cars parked in the basement. Flora walked quickly to where the burning object was followed by Abi, Susan, and the three security people behind her.

“Mas Abi, I saw something under this car. Please bring it,” pinta Flora.

Abi nodded. Immediately Abi bent his body to look under the car. There's really something down there.

Abi took the object which turned out to be a mobile phone.

“Mba Flora .. This looks like a phone belonging to mas Gio.” Abi showed me the thing in his hand. “See Mba! There are photos of Mba same mas Gio on the screen of his phone.”

Flora immediately takes over her husband's phone from Abi's hands. Flora and the others were shocked when they saw the blood on Abi's and Flora's hands.

“Blood ...”

Seeing the blood coming from her husband's cell phone made negative thoughts about her husband enter Flora's mind.

Flora's legs suddenly lost the strength to support Flora's body. Flora lost her balance before everything went dark.
