I'll Watch You

Gio takes Flora in his car and places Flora in the front passenger seat. Gio walked around his car to the steering wheel.

"Flora ...," call Gio in a soft voice.

No response from Flora. The girl just kept quiet with a blank look.

Gio rubbed the nearly dried blood at the corner of Flora's lips making Flora flinch.

"Don't touch me!" shouted Flora. Flora pushes Gio's body followed by her hysterical cries.

"Flora relax!" Gio wanted to touch Flora's shoulder but again Flora shouted. "Flora it's me .. Gio!" Gio snapped at Flora making Flora sober.

Gio cupped both sides of Flora's face to calm her down. "Flora listen .. I'm Gio. I'm not gonna hurt you, okay. Relax!"

Flora immediately hugged Gio and her crying broke again there.

"I'm so scared. If you don't come I can't imagine what they're going to do to me" Flora said between sobs.

Gio rubbed Flora's back. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left you alone on top. Now relax. I'll take you home."

Flora shook her head quickly. "No! I don't want to go home. Take me wherever you come from don't take me home. I don't want you to see me like this."

Gio took off his embrace. "okay …." Gio wiped the tears on Flora's cheek. "Stop crying. I'll have to take care of your wounds first." Gio again rubbed the corner of Flora's lips and made her grimace.

Gio dressed Flora seatbelt before he played it himself. After that Gio drove his car out of the office area.

All the way Flora still shed her tears. His eyes stared blankly. The terrible shadow was still reflected in Flora's mind even she was afraid to spoil her eyes even if only a glance.

Gio who was driving his car occasionally looked towards Flora. He was very happy to see the condition of Flora. Gio also did not expect that the woman he had considered like his mother could tell people to do such a disgusting thing.

Gio takes his car into the basement parking lot of an apartment building. After parking his car Gio turned off his car engine and took off his seatbelt.

"Flora we've arrived." Gio took off the circular seatbelt on Flora's body.

Flora simply responded with a nod of her head without even asking where they were at the time.

Gio got out of the car and walked to the side next to Flora to help Flora out of the car. Flora's psychic state is so weak that Flora's physical body is also weak. Gio decided to hold Flora's body. Flora directly draped her hands to Gio's neck and hid her face to the intersection of the male's neck.

Gio carries Flora's body to his apartment unit. Along the way from the parking lot Gio felt Flora's body tremble, his ears also heard Flora's sobs.

With great difficulty Gio entered his apartment still carrying Flora's body. Gio brought Flora's body to the room he used to sleep in. Gio sat Flora's weak body on the bed.

Gio rubbed Flora's forehead. "I'll get the P3k box first."

Gio came out of his room to pick up a p3k box in the middle room of the apartment. After finding what he was looking for, Gio returned to his room.

Gio took a sitting position on the edge of the bed next to Flora. Gio opened the p3k box to take a cotton swab as well as an antiseptic liquid to treat the wound on the corner of Flora's lips.

Gio attached the cotton to every wound on Flora's body and made Flora grimace. Seeing the wounds on Flora's lips, forehead, and knees, Gio wanted to break the three men's hands.

Finished treating Flora's wounds, Gio told Flora to rest. Gio moved from the edge of the bed to pick up his phone which he had just let ring. However Flora held Gio's hand to not leave her.

"Gio, where are you going?" ask Flora.

"I'm gonna call Daniel, he's gonna be waiting for us at the diner."

"No, don't leave me. I'm afraid of myself …."

"No Flora .. I am not going anywhere, I am downstairs. It's safe here anyway."

Flora lowered her face while sobbing.

"Alright, but not for too long."

Gio rubbed the side of Flora's face before exiting the room. After being downstairs Gio picks up his phone, there are actually some missed calls from Daniel. Gio finally called back Daniel.

Gio talks to Daniel on the phone and tells him what happened to Flora. Finished talking to Daniel, Gio returned to the room where Flora was.

Gio entered the room and found Flora standing on the balcony. Gio stepped closer to Flora and stood beside her. Not long ago Gio looked around including checking Flora's body as if looking for something.

Flora was confused by Gio's attitude. He was confused as to what Gio was looking for.

"We're looking for something?" ask Flora.

"Yes ..," Gio replied without looking at Flora.

"What are you looking for?" ask Flora again.

"Your smile ...," replied Gio.

Instantly Flora reviewed the smile on her lips hearing Gio's reply.

"Well that's it, I've found it" Gio said after seeing a smile on Flora's lips.

"You're a bitch, Gio," said Flora.

"Thank you" said Gio.

For a moment of silence took over the atmosphere between Flora and Gio. Flora's smile faded again as her memory returned to the scene a few hours ago. Really he felt very lucky Gio came on time before the three men did something bad to him.

"You feel better?" ask Gio.

Flora turned her glance towards Gio before nodding.

"This is your apartment?" flora asked without looking at Gio.

"Yes …."

"May I stay here for the night? I'm afraid to go home. I don't want you to see my current condition" Flora said.

"of course. You want to stay here too, I'll be happy" Gio replied.

"Thank you."

Gio grabbed onto both of Flora's shoulders, directing Flora's body to face him.

"Flora .. I want to apologize to you" Gio said.

"I'm sorry? What's for?" ask Flora confused.

"Actually it was aunt Mariana who told the three men to harass you," Gio replied.

Flora was actually not too surprised to hear that. He had guessed before.

"What exactly is my fault with her? He told me to stay away from his son and I've done that." Flora wiped away the tears that fell on her cheeks.

"You know what, Gio? When Daniel's mom came to see me and wanted to talk to me in the pantry, at that time he said that he would approve of my relationship with Daniel if I managed to persuade Daniel to fight for a leadership seat in the company with you but at that time I refused. I don't want them to bless us in that way and I don't want to pressure Daniel either. Does he hate me so much for that? Is it because I'm a bastard so he hates me? Answer Gio! Do I not deserve to be happy …." Flora screamed out all the emotions inside her.

Gio instantly pulled Flora's body into his arms. Hugging her tightly hoping to dampen the emotions that were inside Flora.

"I'll always take care of you, I won't let anything bad happen to you again, I promise Flora."
