Gio's Return

“Unfortunately I'm alive, Daren.”

Everyone looked at the origin of the voice.

“Elang,” murmured Flora.

There was shock on everyone's faces, but not with Abi and Daniel. Although his face was different, but they had confirmed that the man was Revaldo Giovanni Ferdinand.

“Who are you?” ask Daren.

“You really don't recognize me, Daren?” Gio walked into the hotel room, stepped over to Daren.

Gio immediately pulled Flora's hand, hiding his wife behind his body. Furious, Gio pulls the collar of Daren's shirt.

“Did you forget the person you were rocking at the basemant hotel in America?” shout Gio.

“Cannot be! You're definitely not Gio! He's dead.” Daren shouted back.

“Unfortunately your guess is wrong. I'm still alive.” Gio punched Daren in the face, causing him to bounce on the bed. “Although my face is different, but I remain the same. I'm Gio,” Gio said.

“Do you think, after I'm gone you can make Flora yours? Don't dream!” said Gio.

Gio landed a punch in a row on Daren's entire body. Gio was replying to what Daren had done to him in America.

Flora stood beside Seruni. His face was pale, his body trembling in fear as he saw Daren being beaten by the man he recognized as the Eagle.

“Gio .. enough! Don't hit him again,” Daniel said.

Not lost in fear and surprise to Flora, now Flora is confused when the man she knows as Eagle, now Daniel called Gio.

“Don't stop me, Daniel! I will teach this man a lesson,” said Gio. “He must feel what I feel first.”

“He can die!” Daniel pulls Gio and keeps him away from the battered Daren.

“Abi, take Daren away from here!” daniel's orders.

Abi took Daren out of the hotel room. Abi intends to bring Daren to the police station assisted by three bodyguards brought by Gio.

Gio's breathing was still up and down, his anger was still at an acute level. It felt like he really wanted to finish off Daren, the person who had harmed him.

“Quiet, Gio! You scared your wife,” Daniel said.

Gio soaked his anger as he remembered his wife. Gio turned his gaze towards Flora, sure enough Gio saw his wife's body trembling with fear. Gio also knew that his wife was in confusion.

Not wanting to delay anymore, Gio immediately approached Flora. There are many things he should explain to his wife.

“Flora ..” Gio stopped his steps right in front of Flora.

“Elang ...,” says Flora.

Gio immediately cupped both sides of Flora's face. “I Gio, Flora.”

“Hah, how can it be?” asked Flora in a soft voice.

“I ...” Not yet had Gio answered a statement from his wife, Gio was first surprised when Flora's body suddenly limp before finally unconscious.

“Flora ... Flora.” Gio patted Flora on the cheek hoping that his wife would open her eyes.

“We'd better get Flora to the hospital. He may be shocked to see this incident,” said Seruni.

“Gio, take Flora to the lobby. I'll take the car,” said Daniel who was directly signed by Gio.

Gio raised Flora's body carefully so as not to put too much pressure on her stomach. With a quick step, Gio brought Flora into the lobby.

Arriving at the lobby Seruni opened the car door for Gio. After Gio and Flora got into the car, Seruni caught up with them.

“Come, hurry up Daniel,” says Gio.

“Alright,” says Daniel.

Daniel immediately drove his car to the nearest hospital.

The car Daniel was driving stopped just in front of the ER. Daniel and Seruni and Adam descend first to help Gio take down Flora.

Flora has been moved to the bankar and taken to the ER room. Gio still faithfully accompanies Flora, despite being examined by a Doctor. Anxiety enveloped Gio's heart. However, when Flora regained consciousness, Gio's breath was so relieved.

“Flora, are you okay?” ask Gio.

“Elang .. you ...” Flora was still holding her head which still felt dizzy.

“Don't think too much, Darling.” Gio rubbed Flora's head followed by his smile. Gio knew Flora was still feeling confused.

Gio's gaze turned to the Doctor who examined Flora. Gio asked the Doctor about the state of their wife and future child.

“How is the state of his wife and womb, Doctor?” ask Gio.

“Mother and her child-to-be are fine. It's just that your wife is too tired and maybe too many thoughts that make your wife faint,” replied.

“That means I can go home?” ask Flora.

“Hey, Dear ... what did you say?” ask Gio.

“I want to go home. I promise I will rest a lot at home. I feel uncomfortable here,” Flora said.

“Alright, but for tonight you have to stay. If tomorrow your situation is better then I'll let you go home,” Doctor said.

“Good.” Flora nodded.

“Then excuse me first,” said the Doctor was followed by the nurse behind him.

Flora's been transferred to the VVIP's ward. There was only Gio and Flora in the room. For a moment of silence took over the atmosphere between them.

Flora and Gio were drifting in their own thoughts. Flora was silent while thinking about the Eagle. Isn't that Eagle Gio? Then why when he first met in Bali, Gio did not recognize himself?

“Do you still not believe that I am Gio, Flora?” ask Gio.

Flora who had been looking at the ceiling of the room, turned to look at Gio. Flora looked at Gio meaningfully. “To be honest .. Yes.”

“Why? Is it because of my face?” ask Gio.

“Iya.” Flora nodded.

Gio grabbed Flora's hand for her to hold. Gio directed his gaze towards Flora.

“But I'm sure you know I'm Gio. I still remember clearly the time in Bali, when I still lost the memory of —”

“What? You lost your memory?” ask Flora.

“Yes, Flora. That's why when we met in Bali .. I didn't recognize you at all?” obviously Gio.

“Then how can you remember me now?” ask Flora.

“I started to remember when I had an accident near our house,” replied Gio. “I directly contacted Abi —” Again Gio's speech was cut off by Flora.

“So Abi know about this?” ask Flora.

“Yes, only Abi and Daniel know,” replied Gio.

“Then why did you they not tell me this?” flora Protest.

“I forbid them to tell you this. At least until Daren is caught,” said Gio.

“Trust me, Flora ... I Gio is not an Eagle,” Gio said. “If you still do not believe, I will do a DNA test with om Adam.”

“If you are indeed Gio ... then how can you turn into an Eagle?” ask Flora.

“Maybe only om Mahendra can answer your question, Darling,” said Gio.

Flora looked at her husband's face with teary eyes, before tears fell from her eyes. Flora was happy to see her husband again.

“Hey, Darling ... Why are you crying?” Gio wiped the tears of Flora that fell on his cheek.

Flora did not reply, but instead immediately hugged Gio. “I miss you so much. I was thinking if we wouldn't meet again.”

Gio returned Flora's embrace and landed a kiss on the tip of Flora's head. “I miss you a lot too, Darling.”

“Ehmmm.”

The sound of someone deheman made Flora and Gio pull away from that embrace.

“Mother ...,” says Flora.

“You okay?” ask Seruni.

“Iya, Mom. I'm fine,” replied Flora.

Seruni looked at Gio's face, honestly Seruni also did not believe that the man before her was Gio, her daughter-in-law.

Flora noticed the confusion on her mother's face. Flora could guess if her mother did not believe that the Eagle was Gio.

“Bu, he is really Gio,” Flora said. “More handsome than ever, right?”

Seruni and Gio chuckled together after hearing Flora's words.

“Iya, Ma. .. I'm Gio,” Gio added.

Seruni rubbed the side of Gio's face. “You're really Gio?”

“Iya, Mum.” Gio nodded.

“You're okay, aren't you, son?” ask Seruni. “Mother saw you beaten up by those guys.”

“I'm now fine, Mom ... don't worry,” replied Gio.

“Now it's better Mom go home and rest. Let Gio take care of Flora here,” said Gio.

“Iya, Mom. Mom just rest at home, I'm fine, kok,” added Flora.

“You know you want to be alone. But remember ... this is in the hospital,” ledek Seruni.

“Mother what the hell,” whining Flora.

“Yes already, mom comes home first. All mothers want to tell the news of the return of this mother-in-law to aunt Mariana,” said Seruni.
