After making sure her mother took the medicine and rested Aura contacted Gavindra to thank her. Aura's flat object took it from inside her bag. He pressed a number stored in the device. Several times he tried, but his call was ignored by Gavindra.
Maybe it's busy? That was what was inside Aura's mind.
Aura chose to send a message only. Just now Aura was about to type letters on her phone screen, but her phone first rang. Don't ask who contacted him. That person is Gavindra. No more waiting for Aura to shift the green button to receive that call.
"Hello," said Aura.
"What did you call me?" ask Gavindra.
From his tone Gavindra seemed to be in a hurry.
"I'm —" Aura hasn't finished talking and Gavindra cut him off first.
"Quick talking. I only have three minutes," cut Gavindra.
"If you're busy, next time I'll talk" Aura said.
"All right," said Gavindra.
After that, the call was cut off.
Aura kept the flat object away from her ears. His forehead shriveled staring in wonder at the phone screen. He was a little surprised when Gavindra just cut off their phone connection.
"Eh? Is he so busy?" inner Aura.
*****
It had been about a week that Gavindra had not seen Aura. The reason is because Gavindra has jumped into the company. Gavindra did not want to be called a spoiled child who only relied on her parents.
When there was free time Gavindra contacted Aura asking her little girl to come see him. Several times Gavindra contacted Aura, but the girl did not receive the call, the message she sent was not reciprocated either. Gavindra just remembered Aura is still in school and surely she is still in school.
Gavindra was standing next to a car not far from the Aura school. It had been almost half an hour Gavindra was standing at the place waiting for Aura to come home from school.
Gavindra's gaze led to the school gate and then looked at the time on the clock that was coiled around his wrist.
"Ck, why is he taking so long?" gerutu Gavindra while scratching his back head.
Never in his life was Gavindra made to wait for a woman. Usually a woman who is always willing to wait for herself to linger. Because of the meat soto makes Gavindra willingly wait for a little girl named Aura.
Gavindra's patience is sweet. Gavindra heard a boisterous sound coming from the direction of the school. Students and students leave school. The eagle eyes of Gavindra watch every student that comes out. His lips curved into a smile upon seeing Aura.
Gavindra stepped closer to Aura breaking through the crowd. His eyes continued to look at Aura from behind his glasses. Gavindra stopped stepping, standing one step right in front of Aura. The man was sure Aura felt surprised by his whereabouts, but Gavindra did not care. Without Gavindra's permission to pull Aura's hand, he takes her to the car.
"Lake in." Gavindra opened the car door asking Aura to come in.
Aura got into the car and sat on the front passenger bench. His gaze continued to look at Gavindra until the man got into the car.
"Why did you come here?" ask AuraAura directly.
From the look on her face Aura showed shock.
"I phone you're not picked up, neither is chat you reply. So I'll just come here" Gavindra replied casually.
"But …." Aura stared out at the car watching her friends who were whispering.
"What's wrong? Why daydream?" ask Gavindra while wearing a seatbelt.
"Can't you not come here?" aura pinta.
"Why? Afraid someone's jealous?" ledek Gavindra's.
"Didn't you? That's not. Just ... You see them! They're looking this way. They must have thought something about me" said Aura.
"What makes them think of you?" ask Gavindra.
"Because I got in this car of yours," replied Aura.
"Why? Is there something weird about my car?" Gavindra asked Aura.
"Ish, why don't you understand?" aura decak.
"What should I understand." Gavindra shrugged both of her shoulders a sign she didn't care.
Lying if Gavindra does not see the movements of people outside his car. It's just that Gavindra is not a person who is curious and concerned with people's responses to him.
"Don't think anything. After all for what to care about the views of others. You didn't ask them to eat either." Gavindra drove her car away from the place.
Aura was still watching her friends who were still staring at her. Although they did not hear what they were talking about, but seeing from the look on their faces must have been something bad.
Already far away from school, but honestly Aura was still affected by the attitude her friends showed at school and it managed to make Aura feel anxious. Luckily Gavindra's rancid attitude can melt the atmosphere.
"Thank you so much for helping me." Aura's words broke the silence between them.
"What help?" ask Gavindra.
"You've helped me pay the hospital bills" Aura replied.
"Save that thank you word. After I help you, you have to listen to what I say" Gavindra said.
"Why?" Aura's forehead shriveled.
"I've helped you and you have to return the favor. You know, don't you, return the favor." Gavindra looked for a moment at Aura by showing her evil smile.
"Truly men are hard to guess. He's really annoying. But thanks to him, I don't have to think about my mother's hospital costs." A bucara aura in his heart.
"Hey, why dream? Now you have to dress up neatly and then come with me!" Gavindra's orders.
"Where?" asked Aura in shock.
"Meet my parents" replied Gavindra.
"What?" Aura was surprised.
Aura's shout managed to make Gavindra shocked. He stepped on the brakes, the car stopped suddenly, lucky there was no car behind his car.
"Why are you a hobby of yelling? It surprised me" said Gavindra.
"That's because I was surprised," Aura replied.
"Ck, shitty!" gerutu Gavindra's. "What surprised you?" Gavindra asked as she drove back to her car.
"How could I not be surprised? This quickly you want to invite me to meet with both of your parents," said Aura.
"I'm surprised by you! There were a lot of women out there waiting for me to bring them to meet my parents. But why do you even seem to object" said Gavindra.
"Then why don't you just invite one of them" Aura suggested.
"If I could've done that a long time ago" said Gavindra.
"Why? Have you never found a good woman in your life? Only women who dress for less material?" ask Aura.
Gavindra snorted, Aura's speech was more appropriate as a trick instead of a question.
"Don't you dare tease me for a leak." Gavindra ruffled her hair Aura felt anxious with the younger woman almost ten years old.
"Ha, huh." Aura laughed off successfully mocked Gavindra.
"You must remember this! I've helped you and you should try to convince both of my parents of our relationship" Gavindra ordered.
"But are you sure your parents don't suspect that this relationship is just pretend?" ask Aura.
"Come suspicious. I was in a relationship with a high school boy" replied Gavindra.
"Have you figured that out why are you still asking me to meet your parents?" ask Aura.
Aura's heart suddenly beat uncharacteristically. He felt hesitant, nervous, and afraid to meet with both of Gavindra's parents.
"We better delay meeting your parents" Aura suggested.
Gavindra shook her head. "can't. I promised them" Gavindra refused.
"Oh my God!" Aura rubbed her face. He was frustrated with the situation. "You ...." Aura growled, clenching both of her palms held back the annoyance when she saw Gavindra who seemed very calm in a situation she thought was very precarious.
"All right." Aura took a deep breath and then exhaled her back to soak the resentment she was feeling for Gavindra. "Okay, now you better help me think about how to convince your parents" Aura said.
"Damn, ogah. I'm lazy to think. You're the only one who thinks. Darling dong I pay you a lot if you can't think about this," said Gavindra as he raised his eyebrows to tease Aura.
