I Want to Be Loved

I Want to Be Loved
Arriving In America

Gio and Flora walked down the stairs. Their steps towards the living room. It turns out that in the living room there is not only Abi and Susan, but there is Mariana and Seruni.

“Tante, Mom .. You guys are here too.” Flora was very happy to see the arrival of Mariana and also Seruni.

“We deliberately came because we wanted to take you to the airport,” said Seruni.

Flora moved away from Gio and hugged Seruni as well as Mariana in turn.

“Aready all?” ask Gio.

“Already, Mas,” replied Abi.

“The file I requested is also ready?” Gio asked again.

“Already, Mas,” replied Abi again.

“OK, then we just leave,” said Gio.

Flora called for her aunt and the other workers. Flora said goodbye to go and left the house to them.

“We go first,” say goodbye Flora.

“Be careful on the road yes, Mom, Sir,” says Aunt.

“Aibi same others also be careful at home. If there is anything, contact us or tell aunt Mariana or mother Seruni,” order Flora.

“Good, Bu.” The workers in the house responded simultaneously.

“Pak Roni, all my stuff has been put in the car, right?” ask Flora.

“Already, Mom,” replied Mr. Roni.

“OK, then let's go,” said Gio.

Flora and Gio, get out of the house. They get into Mariana's car along with Seruni and Mariana. While Susan and Abi get into the car driven by Mr. Roni.

Both cars drove quickly to the airport. Their plane will leave at 8 p.m., which means they still have 4 hours left.

At half-time 6pm, they arrived at the airport. Susan and Abi first entered the airport to check in, and brought their belongings to be put in the baggage of the plane.

“Flora, Gio .. take care of yourself. Especially you Flora,” order Mariana.

“Good, Aunt,” say Flora and Gio simultaneously.

“Kabari mom too if you guys have got there,” added Seruni.

“Good, Bu.” Flora and Gio spoke together again.

Flora and Gio hugged Seruni and Mariana simultaneously. After that they went into the airport.

Their flight departure is still about 2 hours away. Flora and Gio first stop by the mini market in the airport area to buy some light meals.

“Do we still have time?I feel so hungry,” asked Flora.

“We still have another hour before we go to the departure gate,” replied Gio.

“I want to eat something first,” Flora said.

“What do you want to eat?” asked Gio in a soft voice.

“It looks like there are those selling meatballs. We'll just go there yuk,” take Flora.

“Alright, come.” Gio embraces Flora's waist and takes her where Flora wants to be.

The two go inside the cafe and order the food that Flora wants.

“You didn't eat?” ask Flora.

Gio shook his head, “No. I'm still very full.”

“Good.”

Not waiting long for the food Flora ordered to come, one serving of poor meatballs. Looks like Flora didn't lie to say she was starving. Evidently in an instant a portion of the poor meatballs had moved into his stomach.

Gio who saw that only smiled a little while shaking his head.

“You're so hungry apparently,” ledek Gio.

“Not me, but our son.” Flora laughed as she rubbed her stomach.

Gio rubbed his wife's flat stomach. “Papa's son is full?”

“Already, Papa." Flora answered by mimicking the voice of a child.

“There's still something you want to eat? We still have half an hour left,” asked Gio.

“Alright, let's catch up with Abi and Susan,” with Gio.

Flora and Gio enter the airport to the departure gate of their plane. Arriving at the place they were headed, Flora and Gio immediately approached Abi and Susan.

“Susan Abi, this is no bread for you.” Flora gave Susan a plastic bag of bread.

“Thank you very much, Mom,” said Susan.

The time has already shown at half-eight in the evening. Passengers bound for New York are welcome to board, including Flora, Gio, Abi and Susan.

And right at 8 p.m., the plane started moving and was about to leave the runway. Flora clasped Gio's hand and prayed that they would all be safe to reach their destination.

After decades of logging, including transit times, the plane, which Flora and Gio boarded, finally landed at one of the airports in New York City.

All passengers and crew said they felt good, because they arrived safely.

“We're here?” ask Flora.

“My Beloved. Let's go down,” take Gio.

Flora nodded, “Come, I can't wait to take a walk in this city.”

Gio wrapped his hands around Flora's waist and took his wife out of the plane. Arriving at the exit gate both saw Abi and Susan waiting for them.

“I'll take our stuff, Mas,” says Abi.

“Wait, Abi .. I'll come with you,” said Gio.

“Susan, please take care of my wife,” Gio's orders.

“Good, Sir,” says Susan.

Gio and Abi stepped first, while Flora and Susan walked behind the two men. After their items gathered the four of them headed straight for the exit.

Gio circulated his gaze to look for someone. His gaze stopped when he saw a man he knew waving his hand. Gio also returned a wave of his hand.

“Hai, Gio .. how are you?” The man hugged Gio.

“My news is good,” replied Gio. “How are you doing, Daren?” Gio asked back.

“My news is also good,” replied Daren.

Gio's gaze was on Flora. “Flora, meet my cousin Daren .. his son Aunt Dini.”

Just by hearing the name of Aunt Dini, Flora could already guess a lot of things.

“Hai, Flora .. sorry I couldn't attend your wedding. I have to take care of a lot of things here.” Daren extended her hand to Flora.

“It's okay.” Flora receives Daren's hand.

“Gio ..” Daren muffled his words. “Sorry for what my mom has done —”

“Forget it all Daren,” cut Gio.

“Yes, forget all that,” added Flora.

“Alright, but I apologize on behalf of my mother,” Daren said.

“We've forgiven aunt Dini. So ... please Daren ... do not discuss this issue again,” pinta Gio.

Daren nodded with a downcast face. “Alright, let me take you to hotel.”

“Thank you, Mas Daren,” said Flora.

“Do not hesitate, Flora,” reply Daren.

They all stepped towards where Daren's car was parked. Abi put their luggage into the trunk of Daren's car. After everything entered, Abi also followed into the car.

After everyone got in the car, Daren drove his car out of the airport area.

“Gio, why should you stay at a hotel? You guys will be able to stay at my house,” asked Daren.

“We don't want to trouble you, Daren,” Gio said. “But don't worry, we will definitely pay a visit to your house,” continued Gio.

“Alright, it's up to you. But if you need anything do not hesitate to contact me,” said Daren.

“I will definitely remember that,” said Gio.

No more talking in the car. They were all silent, Gio, Abi, and Susan they fell asleep feeling tired. Only Flora still opened her eyes.

Flora was busy looking out of the car, looking at the night view of New York City, without realizing that Daren was watching himself from the rearview mirror before him.
