Gio canceled all his appointments with all his business associates upon hearing that Flora was about to give birth. Flora just opened one.

Gio was very surprised to hear the news. The estimated birth day is two weeks away.

“Abi, can't you bring a car?” Gio nagged at Abi who was driving the car. “Why take it slow once!”

“Former roads are solid, Mas,” replied Abi.

“Shit,” umpat Gio.

Gio repeatedly took his breath to give him some patience. It had been an hour he was sitting in a car struggling with traffic.

A sense of relief was felt by Gio when the car he was riding in entered the hospital area. Gio got out of the car when Abi stopped his car in the hospital lobby.

“Stay here! Don't go anywhere,” Gio's orders.

Gio gets out of the car, while Abi looks for a place to park his car. Gio walked down the hospital corridor to where Flora and her mother-in-law were waiting.

Flora is still in the hospital with Seruni. Flora told her husband not to worry. He is still opening one and the possibility of the baby being born the next day.

Flora had also told her husband that the doctor had told her to go home. But her husband told her to stay in the hospital, waiting for her to come.

One hour Flora waited for her husband in the hospital with his mother. While waiting for Flora several times experience false contractions.

Flora could not wait for her husband. The rubbing of her husband's hand is usually able to relieve pain when his stomach contracts.

Flora followed her mother's line of sight. Her eyes saw her husband walking in a hurry.

“I'll already say if I'm okay. The doctor has also said it .. I have been allowed to go home,” Flora said.

“No you should stay here. What if you get home later you get sick again?” said Gio.

“Indeed can not be spoiled with her own husband,” protests Flora while pursing her lips.

“Yes already, let me accompany you to sleep!” bring Gio.

Flora and Gio moved from the sofa, they headed to the bed. They both laid their bodies on the narrow bed.

To be honest Gio had also felt sleepy, but Gio was afraid that at any time Flora would feel pain again. However, the drowsiness that was not restrained again made Gio fall asleep.

The time continues to run until the hour in the care room Flora has shown at 1 pm. The initially quiet room began to have sounds filling up.

Gio's sleep was disturbed as Flora's moaning sound entered his sense of hearing. Gio opened his eyes. He looked at his wife.

“Sayang ... You why?” ask Gio.

“My stomach hurts so much.” Flora's voice was already heard indistinctly.

Flora's answer immediately shocked Gio. Gio quickly got out of bed. He pressed a button next to the bed to call the Doctor.

Gio again approached his wife who was still moaning. Instantly panic seeped inside Gio as he saw his wife in pain.

“Mother ...,” call Flora.

Gio clasped Flora's hand as he rubbed his wife's sweaty forehead.

“I phone mom yes,” says Gio.

Flora was only able to nod in response to her husband's words.

When Gio was calling his mother-in-law the door to the ward was open. Gio turned his gaze over, his eyes seeing a Doctor and a nurse enter the room.

The nurse closed the curtain to cover Flora. Gio was panicking. Gio thought Flora would give birth that second as well.

Gio walked back and forth in the room. He wanted to break through the curtain to see his wife. However, just now that Gio was willing to enter the Doctor appeared from behind the curtain.

“My wife why, Doc? Is she going to give birth now?” gio asked in a panic.

“Possibly tomorrow morning, sir. Ibu Flora has entered the opening four,” replied the Doctor.

“Hah!” Gio's face turned pale hearing the Doctor's reply.

“All mother Flora take a walk to open faster,” Doctor's message.

“Iya, Doc.” Gio said with followed anxiety.

“Alright, we'll excuse you. Later every hour we will come to check on Flora's mother,” said the doctor before exiting the room Flora.

After the Doctor and the nurse left, Gio went back to Flora. Gio again rubbed his wife's forehead and clasped his hand.

“Sickly?” ask Gio.

Flora nodded. “Lumayan ...”

“Doctors say you have to give birth tomorrow,” said Gio.

“Ya.” Flora nodded. “I can't wait to meet him.”

“Ya, me too,” connect Gio.

“It looks like our son is also impatient to meet with us,” added Gio.

Gio gave a kiss on the forehead and also on the back of Flora's hand, not to forget also Flora's stomach.

According to the doctor's orders, Flora had to walk a lot to speed up the opening. Now Flora was walking back and forth in her inpatient room accompanied by her husband.

Flora will sit down when her stomach is back in contraction. For half an hour, Flora went back and forth to the bathroom to throw away her little water.

Signs that she is about to give birth are already visible. Flora's heart was pounding between anxiety, fear, and happiness.

Worried?

Anxious because of the pain that is getting worse.

Afraid?

Fear that she is not strong enough to give birth.

Be happy?

Happy because soon she will be a mother. And what makes Flora happy the most is her husband who always accompanies her.
