I Want to Be Loved

Chapter 195

At 2pm, Kenzo was at the hospital cashier's desk to prepare for Felicia's return. His wife's improved condition allowed him to go home.

Finished taking care of all of Kenzo's hospital procedures back to his wife's treatment room. He opened the door to Felicia's room, his eyes seeing his wife still sitting on the bed.

"Kenzo, is everything done?" ask Felicia.

"Here you go" replied Kenzo.

"Let's go home. I don't feel right here anymore" exclaimed Felicia.

Felicia hurriedly got off the bed. It makes everyone surprised.

"Felicia what are you doing? Can't you be more careful" said Gio. "Remember you're pregnant, son."

"Sorry, Papah." Felicia smiled by showing her rows of teeth.

"Let's take you guys" said Violetta.

Night had arrived Felicia was having dinner, but only by herself. Since the afternoon her husband left she said there was work, but until 9 pm Kenzo had not yet returned home.

The flat object he placed beside him lit up. There was a message from an unknown number. Felicia felt lazy to read the message from that unknown number. However, the unknown number sent him a message. Feeling curious Felicia finally opened the message.

I'll meet your husband. Your own husband wants to see me.

Vera.

"So this is Vera's number," Felicia's inner.

"So Kenzo hasn't come home yet because he wants to see his ex-girlfriend. It's outrageous!" felicia.

Felicia's pregnant circumstances make a change for her. Felicia is becoming more sensitive. Though he had tried to believe it, but Kenzo's suddenly dormant number made bad thoughts dwell in him.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Kenzo is on his way to a place where he will meet Vera. There was something he had to straighten out with his ex-lover.

"Sir, we've arrived" said Alan.

Kenzo looked outside the car. There is a garden in front. That place is part of his past.

"I'll go down myself. You wait in the car" Kenzo ordered.

"Well, sir," said Alan.

Kenzo got out of the car and stepped with a sense of confidence in himself. After turning once in the park Kenzo saw Vera on a bench sitting on the park.

"Vera," call Kenzo.

Vera turned her gaze to the origin of the voice. His smile was bursting as his eyes saw Kenzo before him.

"Kenzo, I miss you." Vera hugged Kenzo's body. "And I know you miss me too, so you invited me here."

Kenzo instantly distanced Vera's body with a slight roughness. Not only that, Kenzo also did something that was not expected by Vera.

A hard slap landed on Vera's cheek.

"I'm not here to reminisce with you. But I'm here to warn you, Vera." Kenzo pointed at Vera using his index finger. Kenzo's anger could be seen from the look in his eyes.

"What's up Kenzo why did you slap me? What's my fault?" asked Vera while holding her cheek which was slapped by Kenzo.

"Don't pretend, Vera. I know what you've done to my wife on the sidewalk and at the reunion" Kenzo said.

"I don't understand what you mean, Kenzo," said Vera.

"It's up to you if you still don't want to admit it! But this is a warning for you. If you ever again dare to harm my wife and our baby-to-be, I will never forgive you." A fire of anger arose in every word Kenzo spoke to Vera.

"What ... baby? You mean that girl is pregnant? That's impossible!" Vera shook her head as if she could not believe what she had just heard.

"Listen Vera! The woman you mentioned was my wife. It's only natural that she's pregnant with my son." Kenzo smiled sinisterly as if he was mocking Vera.

"Sorry Mrs Wibowo this is all I want to say. Sorry if I've been interrupting your time." Kenzo no longer wants to linger in that place with his ex-girlfriend.

Kenzo turned around to walk away. However, his steps came to a halt as Vera held him back by hugging him from behind.

"Kenzo please don't leave me. I still love you so much" Vera said between sobs.

Kenzo was silent and did not budge at all. His hands clenched trying to withstand the turmoil within him.

"I admit that I pushed your wife on the sidewalk. All that I'm doing is so she can't go to the reunion, "I'm Vera.

"But my plan failed" said Vera.

"When I saw your affection at the reunion, I darkened my eyes. I asked Jeni to make her fall into the swimming pool. But really Kenzo, I have no intention of harming your wife. I just wanted to make her feel ashamed, I didn't expect it to happen that way" Vera explained.

"I did it all because I was jealous. I still love you so much, Kenzo," I'm Vera.

Kenzo could no longer hold himself back. He took off Vera's arms and turned to face Vera.

"You realize, Vera?" Kenzo holds both of Vera's arms and shakes Vera's body. "Are you aware of what you're saying, huh?"

"I'm aware of Kenzo. I was conscious" replied Vera.

"You've lost your mind Vera" maki Kenzo said. "Even in your pregnant condition, the child of your husband, you can still say love to other men."

Kenzo violently rubbed his hair and face. He really could not believe that the woman in front of him was Vera whom he had once loved.

"Yes! I have lost my mind. I did all this to get your love back. I just want to be loved by you like I used to be" I'm Vera.

"I still have faith if you still love me, so I try to do everything I can to get you back" Vera said.

"No, Vera." Kenzo took a deep breath trying to control his emotions. "The feeling of love I once had for you I buried it after I found out you were married to that old man, Vera! So don't ever hope that I'll be able to love you like I used to."

"You lied to Kenzo! I know you still love me. Why are you hiding it from your wife." Vera roared in disbelief at the reality Kenzo was trying to explain to her.

"Yes God ... Vera! How else would I have to explain everything to you. My relationship with you and I is over. I've had a new life with Felicia so don't ever try to interfere with our lives again" Kenzo said.

"And are you not happy with your husband. Even now you're pregnant with her child" Kenzo said.

"I never wanted this kid Kenzo. Never was!" Vera's dark eyes hit her enlarged stomach. I don't know what Vera thinks until she wants to abort her own content.

"Vera stop! What are you doing?" Kenzo stopped Vera's hand from beating her stomach.

Vera's body slumped and sat on the garden floor with a very bitter cry. "I married Wibowo to pay my parents' debts. And now all their debts have been paid off. I want to be free of her, the real rope is I'm pregnant."

The feeling of love for Vera is already destroyed in Kenzo, but seeing Vera's chaotic circumstances makes Kenzo feel very pity.

"Listen Vera! Whatever happens to you, the child in your body is completely innocent. Never hurt your own child" says Kenzo.

"I have to go home, my wife is waiting for me" Kenzo said.

"And you better go home too. Your husband must have been waiting for you, too" Kenzo added.

There are no more words that Kenzo said. He stepped out leaving Vera still crying. Kenzo continued walking without looking back. There is no time to look to the past because there is a future waiting for it.
