8. Accepts

Elara looked at Shane's face in front of her. The man looked serious and did not mess with his statement.

"Alright, I'll take that statement seriously. But I won't answer."

"Why?" ask Shane.

"I need time to understand everything, Shane."

The man thins his lips. "Alright,” he said relented.

Elara tried to throw her eyes away from Shane's intimidating gaze. However, it looks like the universe is supporting Shane at the moment when suddenly the sound of lightning is thunderous and startling the two.

Elara covers both ears spontaneously, while Shane's hands immediately embrace the girl to calm down and provide protection.

When he realized that, it turned out Elara was already in Shane's arms and they looked at each other.

"Are you scared?"

Elara nodded.

"Calm down, you're with me here."

Elara clutched Shane's body and felt calm there. Then somehow he felt that Shane stroked his hair in a regular rhythm.

"Mirhane?" call Elara in a soft voice in her position.

"I'll accept you."

"really?" Shane shifted Elara's position slightly so that she could look back at the girl's eyes.

Elara nodded. "But .." he seemed hesitant.

"Since we've only known each other for two days, can I get to know you any further?"

"Of course, what do you want to know about me?" shane's Response.

Elara asks Shane for her job and her life. He also asked about the man's family.

"I work at a real estate company. My life is ordinary. I like to climb mountains in my spare time and about my family, there is nothing interesting and fun, they are all rigid people" Shane explained briefly with a smile at the end of his sentence.

"Honestly, I don't understand what's going on in my heart for you, Shane. But I have to admit that I'm comfortable around you."

Shane cupped both Elara's cheeks. "really?" tanyakanya.

Elara nodded her head and Shane was pleased with the girl's response.

"What about you?" ask Shane. They know each other more closely.

"I'm just an ordinary woman. I don't have a job. Are you still interested in me?" elara's lie with the intention of testing Shane alone.

"Hahaha, I don't care who you are. Have you ever heard the phrase 'fall in love at first sight'?"

Elara nodded with a dikulum smile.

"That's how I feel about you, Lara," Shane explained at last.

"While my face is ugly?"

"I've told you that the wound won't cover your beauty."

"Alright, the wooer," said the girl, chuckling.

Shane smiled thinly. "There's something else I want to ask," he said.

"What?"

"Do you have a lover?"

Elara shakes. "Today I accept you so you are my first lover" he said earnestly.

Shane looked at Elara with a sparkle. "Really?" tanyakanya.

"Hmm, I'm not lying."

"Well, from today on make me your first and last lover."

Elara giggles. "Are you that serious?" tanyakanya.

"Do you still think I'm kidding?" Shane looked at the two Elara eyeballs in turn.

"No! You look very serious."

Shane stopped their discussion by linking his lips to Elara's red lips.

"Mirh ..." Elara muttered on the side of the kiss, it made Shane take the opportunity to slip her tongue between Elara's open lips.

Shane stopped his kiss when he felt Elara gasping for breath.

"Is this your first kiss, too?" lirih Shane in front of Elara's reddened face.

Shane didn't have to ask twice because he could judge Elara's amateurs when he greeted her kiss. For whatever reason, Shane was very happy with Elara's acceptance, she would not hurt Elara and the man had promised himself.

"I have to prepare your breakfast" Shane said later, not realizing that Elara was staring at him intensely.

"Mirhane?"

"Yes, why?"

"If we can get out of this forest when my condition starts to improve, do you still want to see me?"

"Of course, honey." Shane dyed the top of Elara's head channeling his own serenity to the girl.

Elara herself instantly blushed her face as Shane called out to her with such a designation. He lowered his gaze timidly.

Seeing that, Shane grinned faintly. "We'll stick together once we get out of here. You heard me say, right?"

"Yes, I heard it."

"All right, I'll prepare our breakfast. Or do you want to take a shower first?"

Imagining the matter of bathing, Elara became reminded of the worms again.

"I. .. don't want to bathe in that river again, Shane." Elara shuddered back.

Shane laughed softly. "All right, so where are you going to take a shower?" tanyakanya.

"Come on, I don't want to go there anymore."

"Even though I carried you there?"

Elara nibbled on her lower lip in embarrassment at the man's speech.

"Alright, I'll go there myself but if you see the worm again you'll have to help me get rid of it."

"Of course." Shane laughed as he patted slowly on Elara's shoulder. "Come on!" get excited.

That day they returned to the same river. If the day before they still looked stiff with each other, not anymore. Shane even lifted Elara's body and lowered it into the middle of the river with his supervision.

Never had Elara seen Shane complain or appear exhausted. It seemed like the man controlled the terrain quite well and he was so tough.

Shane always held Elara's hand and continued to highlight the girl with a happy smile. He felt Elara complete his journey.

"You know, two days ago I felt weird, but today I feel like you've fulfilled me."

Elara chuckles at Shane's words. "Basic woo!" said sneering.

"I'm just seducing you, Miss!"

"And I just want to hear your appeal, sir."

Shane brings Elara into his arms. "I hope so too, don't listen to the seduction of another man besides me" he said earnestly.

Shane knows Elara is too innocent, but that's the girl's attraction. Shane was very lucky to find Elara. For him Elara is like a hidden diamond and he is the man who managed to accompany the diamond.

"Give me your address in Berlin" Shane said.

"For what? I'm not gonna be there anymore."

"Where are you going?"

"I have to go to Hamburg actually."

"Alright, give me your address in Hamburg as well."

"You want to visit me?"

"Of course, I always hold my word."

Finished with the bath, Shane and Elara return to camp, the man makes Elara breakfast.

"It's just this, it's okay, right?" Shane thrust a toast in front of Elara.

"Thank you's. I'm lucky to be found by you, Shane."

Shane responded to Elara with a faint smile, they were enjoying the breakfast in silence.

"After this I'll find food for us to enjoy tomorrow, you stay in the tent. Okay?"

Elara nodded, but she could not cover her frightened face.

"You want to come with me?" guess Shane when he saw the girl's expression.

"I'm just afraid to be alone in the tent, while I don't know where you are. I'm afraid you're not coming back."

"I'll definitely be back. I can't leave you here. I'll mark the way and be right back."

"But, Shane."

"I have a good book in my backpack, you can read it in the tent. I'll be back before you finish reading the book."

Elara finally nodded even though she was still covered in fear. Shane himself felt unbearable, but he went to find food for them because the food stock was not enough. If Elara's condition can be invited to walk far enough, maybe Shane will take her and will not leave her alone in the tent.
