70. Waste time

Elara was not exhausted by the actions of Shane who immediately decided to leave as soon as they had just arrived at the Mansion. The long journey from Dubai to Hamburg is exhausting.

However, Shane seemed to not care about his fatigue. He seemed to be in such a hurry to do something that he didn't know what. Elara did not know, because Shane was only willing to take care of an affair without explaining the details.

Actually Elara was about to ask him further, but Max and Jose were seen waiting for Shane so Elara paused her intention.

In Elara's mind, a little guessing. Does this have anything to do with the problem that Shane had hidden from him? About the kidney theft?

However, even though Shane seemed calm later in the day, he took her for a walk to Dubai. But, Elara knew the character of her husband. Shane couldn't possibly forget the big event that made Elara lose one of her kidneys. And Shane won't let anyone steal his wife's organs just like that.

While there, Shane and his two loyal Assistants head straight to the place Shane has been wanting to visit since he was in Dubai. He can't wait to meet the man whose name is on Shane's list of suspicions for the theft of his wife's organs.

Although the evidence is in Shane's hands now, but Shane is confident that the person he will go to at this time will still be tight-lipped about his allegations.

"What are you looking for me for?"

Shane was so fed up with the pretense. It was like he was beating people in front of him, who pretended to ask the purpose of his arrival.

"Don't act stupid! You were involved in Elara's kidney theft, weren't you?" accuse Shane to the point.

Kyle's eyes were breaking hearing that. "Whatdidyou say? Kidney theft? Elara's having kidney theft?" repeat with a surprised tone.

Shane grinned. "Don't trick me again, Kyle. I know it was your intervention. Elara's kidney was transplanted into Stevi's body. I have proof!" emphatically.

Kyle nodded in disbelief. "Don't gi la, Shane! Stevi received the donor kidney from me, not from Elara! It has nothing to do with Elara. And why can you accuse me? Where is the evidence?" his challenge.

Shane growled until his teeth churned, but he gestured for Max to provide the data they had already investigated.

Kyle looked at the recorded history on a map Max had just given him. And while reading it, Kyle's eyelids instantly widened, along with his movements that rubbed his face violently.

"No way! Obviously I donated my kidney to Stevi, not to anyone else. This data is fake. You can't just believe this!" kyle said with high intonation.

"You think I'm stupid?" shane's response to Kyle's speech. "I won't be here until I make sure of everything. You know, Kyle! But, you're pretending!" pepukas.

"Elara! I love him, I can't possibly do anything to hurt him, let alone get involved with what you're accusing him of! Even I just found out about you, if Elara had organ theft!"

"Here you go, you'll continue to act as I thought you would," said Shane lazily. "But, one thing you should know Kyle, no matter how you get Elara, you've already lost to me so .. learn to accept reality!"

Shane thinks demanding honesty from Kyle is a futile and time-wasting act, he already knows if Kyle will continue to dodge and hide behind the word friendship with Elara. Shane had intended to ease Kyle's sentence if the man was honest about what happened. In fact, Kyle actually looks very hypocritical in the eyes of Shane.

"I don't understand why you've got this hard on Elara, Kyle .." muttered Shane before finally completely passing from the face of the man followed by Max and Jose behind him.

Kyle stared at the departure of Shane's luxury car from his yard. He fell silent with his own thoughts on Elara's condition.

"If you feel weak, then come to me, Ela. I will always wait for you."

Although Shane has confirmed that Kyle is involved with this, but he does not know for sure if Stevi also knows. So, after visiting Kyle, Shane chose to visit Stevi in the woman's apartment. Reportedly, Stevi returned there with Gracia who was still living in Hamburg to accompany her daughter after surgery.

When Shane's foot had just stepped once inside Stevi's residence, Gracia apparently intercepted his step first.

Shane looked at the woman.

"Don't hurt Stevi again with your words. And please, don't ask him the heavy stuff because he hasn't fully recovered."

"It's okay, Aunty. I won't ask him the things you're afraid of. I just wanted to see him, and make sure he was." Shane smiled meaningfully, for some reason he saw nervousness in the eyes of Stevi's biological mother.

Gracia hurriedly turned her gaze, after which she escorted Shane to Stevi's room there.

And just as Shane had expected, Stevi looked surprised upon seeing his arrival.

"You? What are you here for, Shane?" Stevi is not happy with Shane's arrival.

"I want to see you."

"really?" Stevi smiled wryly. "Not to mock my situation?" the sarcasm.

"You didn't tell me you were sick."

"For what? Are you that cool to me?" cold Stevi.

Shane laughed softly, his attitude calm and unreadable. Stevi doesn't even know what purpose Shane's here for other than to make fun of him.

"Are you happy with your new life?" ask Shane later.

"You mean?"

"Didn't you just have a kidney transplant. And that means you've got a new second life."

"Yes, of course I'm happy. I can take care of Maura even longer. But, for whatever sake .. This has nothing to do with you."

"There is, of course," Shane replied quietly but stressed.

"What's? I thought we had no more business" Stevi said, ending with a whimper.

"Have you ever truly loved Shawn, Stev? Regardless of your betrayal that resulted in Maura. Do you love her?"

"Of course!" answer Stevi steady. "I had no intention of betraying him, it was just my mistake because Shawn was too busy with his world than mine" he said.

Shane can see Stevi's honesty with every word.

"You were devastated when Shawn died?"

"Very," said Stevi threw a glance at the ceiling of the room to dispel the tears.

"I was also devastated to learn that my wife had to forcibly lose one of her kidneys to save you" Shane said in a heart-wrenching statement, but he hurriedly uttered another sentence so that Stevi could not read his grief. "But somehow I doubted it" he said frankly.

"What do you mean, Shane?" stevi asked, not accepting.

"Instead of you agreeing to marry me, you should have turned it down by then."

"I just want to protect the child I bear, so that he's within the Gladwin family."

"Not because you want money and money?"

Stevi chuckled incisively, she wiped away her tears that remained out if she remembered about Shawn. "I'd be sorry if I said I didn't want any of that. But more than that, I love Shawn very much" he said.

"OKAY. I think I've gone too far to question you. I just want to know your answer, about what would happen if Shawn was alive?"

"What's? That sounds impossible, right?" Stevi chuckled back on her bed.

"Yes, that's impossible .. but do you know who donated your kidney to you?" lure Shane to the point.

"Kyle. He donated his kidney to me."

"Really Kyle is noble-hearted." Shane laughed so hard. He even held his stomach like a man who was bent over a joke.

"Mane!" Stevi's tone of voice warned the man.

"If I told you that kidney was from Shawn, would you believe it?" Again Shane wants to play Stevi's feelings here. That's why he had to carry Shawn's name. After all, Stevi should thank him for clueing to Shawn who is still alive.

"You're gi la? Shawn is dead!" stevi said loudly.

"You don't believe it? Try asking Kyle the exact answer. Who is a donor to you. Is that really Kyle ... or is there someone else?"

Shane wants Stevi to question Kyle later and he's already laid out his plans here. In Stevi's room.
