"Shane ... I didn't expect to see you here." The woman who greeted Shane looked very cramped.
Then in the next split second, he realized that if Shane was not alone at the table, he turned to the woman sitting next to Shane, who was none other than Elara. "You?" he almost squealed at Elara.
Elara was also almost shocked when she realized that this was the woman who made a ruckus in the mall with her this afternoon. Again a coincidence they were found here, not to mention the woman who recognized her husband, even called Shane so familiar.
Shane, whose face was suddenly tangled, was now even surprised when he realized that the woman who greeted him also knew Elara, his wife.
However, Shane has not yet responded to the pleasure of the woman who found herself at the party.
"Shane, do you know him?" Finally, Elara asked her husband.
Shane looked at Elara. "The talk is done. How about we go home?" abugn.
Elara's eyes faded, just like the woman who had greeted Shane. He was surprised because Shane did not heed his greeting at all.
"All right, let's just go home." Elara stood up from sitting down. Preparing to go home, she would ask this further to her husband at home.
Shane was ready to leave when the woman called him back.
"What's your relationship with this woman, Shane?" asked the woman referring to Elara who walked beside Shane even holding Shane's arm.
If previously Shane firmly introduced Elara as his wife both to his colleagues and to his rivals. Unlike now, Shane did not answer anything as if reluctant to respond to the woman's question.
Elara herself does not know what her feelings are now, where her husband does not recognize her status in front of the woman who had made him hunker this afternoon.
"Mane!" The woman again calls Shane as Shane moves back in to leave the ballroom.
"Alright, Megan. You don't have to chase him."
And suddenly someone comes to prevent the woman from continuing to pursue Shane and Elara's steps. That was Ryder.
"Shane, let me talk to you!" The woman named Megan did not heed the warning from Ryder, she insisted on following Shane's steps, but Shane did not care at all and continued to walk with Elara's hand to immediately go to the hotel courtyard.
"Alright, Megan. He has forgotten you. He was married and the woman he was with was his wife!"
"What?" Megan looked surprised by Ryder's explanation. "You lied!" his hisses don't accept.
And their debate is still heard by Elara's sense of hearing as the two follow their steps up to the hotel lobby.
Elara looked at Shane as if asking for an explanation from her husband, but Shane was silent. The man even rushed to open the car door for Elara to climb as soon as they arrived in front of the vehicle.
With an inexplicable feeling, Elara finally enters the car as well, followed by Shane who goes up.
"Road, Max!" That's the only sentence that came from Shane's lips. Even he was not talking to Elara, but to Max who was already sitting behind the wheel.
...*+*+*...
The journey, which took several tens of minutes, eventually led Elara and Shane to the Mansion. There had been no conversation between them since entering the car cabin. But Elara will discuss it with her husband in their room and she will make sure to get an answer from Shane's lips.
As for Shane himself, he knew that now in Elara's head there must be so many questions for him. However, he was also more curious how could Megan recognize his wife?
Elara put her handbag on the nightstand, then decided to sit on the edge of the bed. He glanced at Shane who seemed to open the knot of his tie there.
"I don't want to make small talk. Tell me what your relationship is with him!" elara said coldly.
Shane scratched his temple at a glance. Actually, he had prepared the answer while in the car earlier. He was also prepared with various questions to be asked by his wife, but when Elara really asked like this, Shane was confused as to what to answer.
Seeing Shane stay quiet. Elara finally got up from her seat and was about to head for the bathroom.
"Where do you know him?" Shane asked as Elara almost reached the bathroom door.
"Who do you mean?" elara asked without looking.
"He .. the woman."
"What's Megan called?" The corner of Elara's lips attracted cynics, even Shane did not want to mention the name of the woman. But somehow he still did not like what had happened earlier.
Shane nodded.
"I don't know him. She was the woman who got into a ruckus with me at the Mall this afternoon."
"Gosh ..." Shane rubbed his own face rough. Why is the world so narrow? Her thought.
"Why? Do you really have a relationship with him? If yes, then try to explain it to me." Elara turned around, trying to delay her intention to clean up in the bathroom.
"It's not so, dear."
Elara is grieving now. "You're saying this is a misunderstanding? Obviously I saw for myself how happy he was when he met you."
Shane remained silent. His tongue seemed too faint to answer Elara's question.
"If you keep quiet like this, then I'll conclude for myself."
Shane immediately raised a gaze that previously did not dare to look at the wife. "Conclude what? Don't think badly, Lara!" sergeant.
Shane long piqued hearing the words of his wife who did not mess around. He decided to wait for Elara to come out of the bathroom.
Until finally, not long after that the woman actually came out of the room.
"Honey ..."
Elara enters the walk in closet without heeding Shane's call there. He changed his clothes in satin pajamas and prepared to go to bed.
Seeing that, Shane grew even more agitated. He couldn't have if Elara had silenced him like this.
"I want to tell you a story. Don't you want to listen to him?"
And Elara didn't say anything. He remained silent in his position that turned his back on Shane.
"Darling ..." Shane touches Elara's shoulder, but Elara slicks her shoulder to pull over.
"Before I tell you, I want you to answer honestly ... are you jealous, hmm?"
Hearing that, Elara then sat down from her position that had previously been lying sideways. He looked at Shane as if he was going to eat the man alive-Shane until he could see him. Never did his wife look this creepy.
It turns out that the world said, the woman was like a cat when dating and turned into a lion when married.
While himself as a man, like a crocodile when single, but transformed into a lizard if it has become a husband.
Shane must admit that he is afraid of his wife's anger, but he is also happy that Elara is really jealous of him. Wasn't she the only one jealous of Elara?
"Megan is my ex-boyfriend."
"What?" Elara's eyes were perfectly rounded.
"That's been a long time, honey. Don't be mad, I haven't finished telling you."
And Elara was silent. She knew her husband had a lot of charm. Besides being handsome, Shane was also rich. He is also smart and reliable. Who isn't interested in him? So, it is impossible if during his life Shane never dated or did not have an ex-lover. Maybe even, Shane could have compiled his ex-girls like a collection that has been unused, so the inner Elara.
"Then?"
"We dated while we were still in senior hight school."
"How long?" ask Elara to investigate.
"Six months."
"Pretty long."
Shane didn't say. He even enjoys the jealous face of Elara there.
"Then ... Why break up?" ask Elara later.
"He used me. He just wants my money. I realized it lately."
"He used you, while you loved him so much?" guess Elara.
Shane clucking. "Lara, come on! It's just the past" he said.
"Yes, I understand everyone has a past. But why didn't you answer when he asked who I was to you?"
"I'm just lazy to handle it."
"Say you're ashamed to admit me as your wife in front of your ex-boyfriend!" elara Tudings.
"Gosh ..." Shane is putting on her hair. "Not so, my dear. Ryder finally told him, right? Then especially?" tanyakanya.
"Why don't you just admit it! That's the problem."
"I'm lazy to have a conversation with him. He is too full of money and will do anything to make money. I know his character, so I'm lazy to deal with him" Shane said frankly.
And Elara's next answer actually made Shane gawk.
"Yes. You must have recognized her very much" replied Elara indifferently.
"Are we going to talk about this until morning?" Shane patted his own eel.
"Why not?"
Elara with all her selfishness. That seems to be the attitude that is in most women. If this continues then Shane will never win. It is useless to argue with his wife. That's how Shane's head is today.
Elara herself, not surprised when Shane said if Megan just want the money and do a lot of ways to get the money. That was evident when the woman wanted to try to ask Elara for money over the incident this afternoon. So, a little bit he believes that Shane didn't lie to him about this.
But, given that Shane once had a special relationship with a woman named Megan - it still makes Elara unhappy and upset amazing. He's so lazy to sleep with Shane tonight. I don't know why. Especially considering that Shane did not want to introduce her as a wife to the woman. Elara was really cocky.
