69. Fated to love you

Arriving on the 5th day, Shane and Elara plan to enjoy the beach area before tomorrow they have to return to Hamburg.

They will explore Dubai Marina with Yellow Boat Tour.

This tour is enough to pamper Shane and Elara to go through the exploration of Dubai Marina, Atlantis Hotel and Burj Al Arab Hotel.

By using a boat, they are accompanied by a driver and a tour guide who can explain every tourist destination there.

Before taking this tour, Elara put sunscreen on her body as well as on her husband's body. This he did so that their skin was not burned by exposure to the sun is quite hot. Not to forget also they brought sunglasses to still be able to see the scenery even though there is dazzling and the boat they ride is speeding up.

Using a boat for approximately 1.5 hours, Shane and Elara explore the Dubai Marina, seeing the view of the Hotel Atlantis and Burj Al Arab which looks like a sailing ship from a distance..

Actually, the scenery will also be beautiful to watch at night, but because they have already set a schedule to get there during the day so Elara and Shane still enjoy the holidays.

Hotel Atlantis is an area located on Palm Jumeirah Island and includes a private area. Incidentally Shane and Elara were guests who stayed at the hotel. They rent a room there while in Dubai and can enjoy the facilities. But, if they are not hotel guests then they can not enter the area deeper and can only see the view of the building from the beach area.

Unlike the previous few days who seemed to enjoy the holidays, on this last day, Shane looked different, he looked a lot dreamy. And that raises a question for Elara.

"What are you thinking, Shane?" search the woman.

Elara felt like Shane after yesterday getting a message she said came from Max.

"Is there a problem with your company?"

"Nothing."

"Then? Can you be honest with me about what happened?"

Shane does not want to ruin their holiday moments with news that he just knew, let alone this is still confusing because Max has not reported again the continuation. Shane is afraid Elara actually returns huffled let alone this concerns Kyle who is Elara's best friend.

Shane would not say his suspicions because Elara would definitely not believe him so easily.

"Do you believe me, Lara?"

Elara frowned inside. "Of course I believe in you" he replied steadily.

Shane smiled thinly. "Yes, you must believe me" he said, though Shane doubted Elara would still believe him if he were to link Kyle's name to all the incidents that happened to Elara.

"Then? What's going on?"

Shane shook his head weakly. "nothing. No, don't think about it. We're on vacation, right? Come on, let's go for another walk" he said, holding Elara's hand.

Elara was astonished. If Shane asks her not to think, but why does her husband seem to be thinking about something. Elara's sure there's something Shane's hiding.

"Shane .. You can tell me. I must have trusted you," persuaded Elara.

Although his wife had said so, but Shane knew all these problems were not as simple as Elara had expected. He won't talk until all the information is complete and accurate, he's still waiting for the next report from Max and Jose.

"Enough, Lara .. We don't have to talk about it anymore. It's my decision."

"But, Shane? Why can't you tell me? Is this about me? If yes, then I deserve to know."

"You'll know at the right time. I don't want you to think I've been charged without proof, so .. let all that evidence be collected first, and then you have the right to know everything."

And now Elara is convinced that the thing Shane is still covering up is about her.

"OK, I'll wait for the right time and won't force you."

Shane thins his lips and brings Elara into his arms.

"Thank, you understand."

Although Elara nodded, her heart still wondered what and who Shane was covering up. Why does Shane not dare to tell him. Even Shane to ask his level of trust?

A tiring but happy day is back in Dubai. This is their last dinner there.

A luxurious and romantic restaurant becomes Shane's choice to spend the night with his wife. From where they sit, they can still see the attractions of the Dubai Fountain which was again displayed that night.

Shane stared at Elara long ago, until Elara was astonished by her husband's gaze. Besides that wonder, Elara was also always nervous to be looked at by Shane's eyes that seemed to hit him. Although many times the same highlight he received, but still the intimidation of Shane's eyes was always able to hypnotize Elara.

"Tonight, I want to tell you something."

"I want to tell you my story. To be exact, my history."

Elara thinned her lips then nodded her head in a sign that she would willingly hear all the stories that would come out of her husband's mouth

"There was a boy .. He used to have a complete family. A couple of parents who love each other. A sister who has a similar face. Yes, the boy was born twins. Shawn and Shane, they love each other."

Elara smiled softly at Shane's bedtime story. But he decided to shut up without comment, he would listen to Shane's story until it was over.

"Born is already rich" Shane continued with a faint smile. "But it is not permissible to enjoy wealth for granted. Everything has a price. So that the boy gets used to being forged. Life's hard. He is required to be proficient before his time. When a kid his age thinks of a toy, he has to think of a design."

Elara was still listening, when Shane took the water to be gulped and then pressed.

"That boy is you, right?"

Shane nodded. But that is not the main question of Elara.

"Did you ever fall in love before you met me? What about Megan?"

Shane's pulling a shoulder. "When I was with him I was a teenager. Labile. I don't feel it's love. I was just looking for her to show my friends and yes, it was kind of like going along, where my other friends started dating, too" she said frankly.

"After Megan? There's no way you don't have another ex-lover?" elara Sarcas.

"I told you, if the boy is too busy. Even when he was a child, he already had to master many fields. I didn't get to fall in love."

"Then with me?" Elara's chuckling a little now.

"With you is different. I found you when I was caught off guard with my life. You're the kind of answer God gave you. You were sent to me all of a sudden without me thinking. Do you think I can figure out how to find a pretty girl in the woods?" Shane joked at the end of the sentence.

"... so, I said that you and I were destined to meet and be met. Well, the universe began to be kind to me after testing me since I was a child, the proof of which you sent to my life" he said.

Shane's reviewing the grin now. And it looked very happy in Elara's eyes, making the woman roll her eyeballs as she watched her husband's confidence.

"Fated to love you, Elara. I was destined to love you."

Shane with all his seduction, inner Elara. The woman chuckled. And Shane laughed as if he knew his wife's head.

A mobile phone ringing makes the two have to delay to continue chatting.

As Shane sees it is a call from Max, he hastily rejects her. He knew there was something important Max was going to say. But, he did not want to be upset because of the next news so he delayed to find out.

"Why is the phone turned off?" ask Elara who had seen Shane reject his call.

"It's just Max."

"Maybe there's something important?"

"Oh, I just still want to hang out with you."

"Call him Shane, maybe Max wants to tell you something urgent" suggested Elara.

"I'll call him later. Anyway, tomorrow we're back in Hamburg, right?" shane tried to calm his wife.

"Well, you know best what you're doing" said Elara, unwilling to argue.
