71. Feeling disbelief

That night, Shane returns home feeling out of the blue. Before getting out of his car, he took the time to ask Max about the plan they had been carrying out at Stevi's residence.

"Have you installed it?"

Max does not turn his head from his position sitting behind the wheel, he only glances at Shane-who sits behind-the-pass center mirror.

"Here you go, sir." The man with a stiff look nodded.

"Good." Shane grinned.

When Shane had a conversation with Stevi a while ago, he was also trying to distract the woman from knowing her tactics.

Max installed a voice eavesdropper there, too, because Shane was convinced that after the lure - which carried Shawn's name in the kidney donation - Stevi became upset and immediately asked Kyle about who actually donated the kidney.

Although Shane already had written evidence stating that Kyle's kidney was actually donated to someone else and it wasn't Stevi. As well as Stevi who actually got a donor from the black market - which Shane believes is Elara's kidney - but, uh, Shane still needs other evidence that Kyle's confession of what really happened and the certainty that Stevi's body is really his wife's organ that has been stolen.

Therefore, Shane was forced to install a wiretap there. And given Stevi's current condition, which still has to be bedrested to adjust his new kidney, it must be Kyle who will visit him in that room and they will talk about it in the room that the eavesdropper has installed.

Shane hopes that his estimates are not wrong and everything will go according to plan so that he gets other evidence to strengthen his belief that he actually wants to destroy the main mastermind of the theft of his wife's organs.

"You believe me, don't you?" Again Shane asked the same thing as he had asked Elara when in Dubai.

"How many times do I have to tell you if I trust you, hmm?" Elara stroked the chest of her husband's field.

Shane pulled Elara onto the sofa in the corner.

"Alright, sit down first" he said to make the atmosphere conducive.

Elara said she was sitting next to Shane, who now rubbed her own face.

"I ... found evidence that Kyle was involved in your kidney theft."

Elara. Then a second later laughed at her husband's speech.

"Why are you laughing, honey? You don't trust me?" guess Shane.

"Not so, not so," said Elara still with the same laugh.

"Then? Stop that laugh, I'm being serious!"

"Darling, you like to joke. Don't make this into a joke, let alone carry someone else's name let alone Kyle ..." Elara looked at Shane seriously now.

Shane is putting on her hair. "I'm seriously, Lara. I'm not kidding, I'm not making jokes either. The truth is your best friend was involved!" shane said emphasizing the word 'your best friend'.

"This sounds impossible, Shane. How can-"

"I told you, you should believe me!" sela Shane in a disappointed tone.

Shane was about to get up, but Elara blocked his arm. "Not so, I don't trust you, I told you I believe. But how could Kyle be involved .. It looks like this is a mistake, Shane. I know Kyle very well and he couldn't have done this to me. Anyway, what's the point for this? Nothing, right!" he said at length.

Shane looked at Elara with a look full of irony. "the reality is so, Lara! I told you from the beginning, I won't tell you until I get proof. So, when I tell you this, I already have proof" he said.

"Where's the evidence?"

Shane took the map which is a description if Kyle donates kidneys to others. Stevi received a kidney donor from the black market. All that Shane got from Ferdinand, after previously entrusting Max to give me a little money to open the original information from the Hospital.

Elara was surprised to see that. But, his positive thoughts towards Kyle overcame everything he currently saw. He can't believe all this just yet.

"Stevi? This has something to do with Stevi?"

"Yes, he's sick. Needs a kidney donor and somehow Kyle is targeting you to be his donor. I guess because he knows your blood type is the same and there are other specific intentions that I don't yet know."

"No, Shane. Maybe what Stevi received from the black market wasn't my kidney. There are many other possibilities."

"Then, can you explain why Kyle sabotaged the hospital statement? He made it seem as if he was the donor for Stevi, whereas in reality he did do the transplant but it was donated to someone else."

Elara fell silent. He tries to remember something and match it. If Elara's blood type is the same as Stevi's, Kyle should not be able to donate his kidney to Stevi, because Elara remembers if Kyle's blood type is different from her.

But to accept all these facts, somehow Elara felt the opposite. Kyle couldn't have done this to her. Wh-wh-what for?

"There's no way Kyle could be this long for me" muttered Elara who could still be heard by Shane.

"Yes, at first I thought so too. But, it's possible that he has a grudge against you because you rejected him" Shane's circus later said.

Elara was struck by her husband's speech. Shane spoke to him so bluntly. Maybe for the sake of convincing himself to open his eyes wide that there are many possibilities that can make Kyle could do all this against him.

"No matter how much I convince you, you will still doubt me. You still trust that man more than I do" Shane said in a disappointed tone.

"Shane, it's not so ... You should understand that Kyle and I have known each other for a long time, so it's only natural that this surprises me and makes me unable to believe this just like that."

Shane shook his head faintly. He did not want to force Elara again to believe him. Honestly, he was disappointed in this but on the one hand he understood that Elara could not believe the actions Kyle had taken against him.

Shane enters the bathroom to cleanse himself while calming his heart.

While Elara was still dissolved in her disbelief of what she had just learned about the behavior of the Friend. Could it be Kyle doing that to her?

"I'm going to see Kyle to ask him directly." Elara was determined in her heart. And if Kyle was the one behind all this then he would never forgive his best friend.

"But I still hope this is all a mistake, Kyle. I know you can't do this shit to me."
