22. Unavoidably

After the teaching process was over, Elara really had to meet Shane because she had no chance to avoid it because the man was waiting for her.

"Md. Ela, your fiance is so handsome, you're lucky to be his partner. You look good" whispered Hazel - her professional friend - who happened to see Shane standing near their room.

Elara could only thin her lips, smiling stiffly at the temptation of her companion.

"It's over, right?" shane and Elara asked only a small nod in response.

"Well, where do you want us to eat?"

"Ma-eat?" elara asked confusedly. The reason, he still has not said anything but why Shane pretend nothing happened, even though Elara still wants to keep her commitment by not bullying the man.

"Yes, I think we should talk, maybe while eating. You must be hungry after work for most of the day."

"Not to."

"Then? Do you want us to talk in this campus area?" ask Shane. The man narrowed his eyes, then slightly whispered softly at Elara. "... lest the students here know about our relationship?" move with flirting.

Shane seemed to choose the food in the menu book that was arranged by the waiter, because Elara did not answer her question, finally she also ordered food for Elara.

"Lara, actually I don't like to make small talk. You know that, right?"

Elara sighed softly. "I told you I'm not Lara. I'm Ela."

Shane rose from his seat, because they were alone in the private room, he could move more freely and freely confront Elara.

The man's hands were resting on the table in front of Elara.

"What do you want?" elara asked nervously, she couldn't fight back if Shane was this close to her. In fact, the man's movements always felt intimidating.

"Just make sure of something" Shane replied lightly. One hand, the other, just pulled the bangs that cover part of Elara's temple. "And I really found you, dear," he continued, referring to the scar on the girl's forehead.

"Please let go of your hand! You don't deserve to do that to another woman when your wife is pregnant with your child!"

And Elara's words made Shane's eyes grow.

Shane drifted away instantly, wanting to open his mouth and seem willing to talk, Shane paused him because of the presence of a waiter who delivered food to the room they were in.

Shane seemed to wait for the waiter to serve food. Looked impatient, then immediately asked the waiter to leave when everything was really presented on the table.

Not wanting to waste any more time, Shane immediately spoke up to ask everything. "So, who do you mean as a pregnant wife?" tanyakanya.

This time, it was Elara's turn to laugh. Turns out this guy's acting stupid, right?

"Stevy. She's your wife, right? She's pregnant with your child, there shouldn't be any connection between us in the first place, Shane!" elara lugas.

"Okay, from your statement .. meaning you've already admitted that we have a relationship, right?" said Shane began to understand the subject that made Elara avoid him.

"That's not the main point, Shane. But about your wife---"

"Don't Stevi tell you that I'm her husband?" Shane said Elara, now he began to chew food with his calm gelagat. He knew there was a misunderstanding here and this could be resolved in a calm state.

Elara instantly fell silent, feeling strange with the man's statement before her. Kernyitan on his forehead looks deep, a sign that he does not understand the meaning of Shane's words.

"Lara, honey, I'm asking you .. Did Stevi introduce me as her husband to you?"

Elara immediately recalled her first meeting with Stevi the other day. The pregnant woman did introduce Shane to her, but never said that Shane was her husband.

"Then?" Shane cut the steak in front of him with constant movement, then handed the piece attached to his fork in front of Elara. "Eat," he said.

Elara refused with the trousers, but Shane's eyes seemed convincing if Elara had to accept the bribe.

Elara finally took the steak with her lips, accepted Shane's feed and began to chew it.

"You should avoid. Turns out you thought Stevi was my wife. Yeah, everybody thinks so. Do you think I lied to you?"

"Of course!" elara answered quickly.

Shane pulled the corner of his lips. "I never lie, Lara. You're the one lying by pretending you don't recognize me."

"I did that gelatin-"

"Whatever the reason, you can't do that to your boyfriend."

Elara shook her head hard. "Why can you still say I'm your lover?" insinuations.

"Of course you're my girlfriend, Lara!" shane said, no more smiles, he looked serious now. "Stevi wasn't my wife, you were wrong to expect it" he said.

Elara screeches. "You liar! If she's not your wife, then who is she? You guys live together and she's pregnant? You want to trick me? Even your mother told my father that the pregnant woman was your wife!"

Now Shane is massaging the base of his nose. He was confused as to where to explain to Elara.
