34. Comebacks!

Seeing Kyle there, a thin smile fell from the corner of Shane's lips, but he still did not intend to release his hand on Elara's arm.

"Kyle? you're back yet?" elara said as she looked at the friend there.

Kyle nodded, but the look in his eyes still kept staring at Shane's fingers that were reluctant to release Elara.

"What's this, Ela?" kyle asked who finally looked at Elara.

Elara was about to answer, but Shane spoke first. "It just so happens that you came. As you can see, something has happened between us and it looks like Elara doesn't need to explain anything to you" she said calmly.

"I asked Ela, not you" Kyle said coldly, his eyes staring at Elara as if asking for an explanation.

Elara took a deep breath until she was finally able to say,

"I've told you that me and Shane have a relationship ..." Elara paused her sentence to see Shane grinning with satisfaction at her answer, as well as a disappointed look from Kyle's face. "But today I asked to separate," he continued, making Shane gulp his saliva heavily.

"Lara ..." said Shane.

Elara shakes. "I can't, Shane. Sorry," he said slowly.

Now it's Kyle's turn to thin his lips.

"You heard it yourself, right? Ela has cut off your relationship. I think that's the best option because Ela can't possibly be the destroyer of your relationship with Stevi!" kyle stared at Shane. "Yes, right, Ela?" he continued to lead to the girl who was not far from him.

Elara flinching. He did not answer Kyle's question, in contrast to Shane who had clenched his hands tightly.

"Look!" sergeant Shane. "Me and Stevi never had any relationship. It's all just camouflage my mom, me and her never getting married!" said firmly.

"really? Then, can you explain the pregnancy?"

"That's what Shawn did, my brother. So, it's not me who has to take responsibility for it" Shane concluded.

"Okay, maybe I'm starting to read the situation. But here, Ela doesn't want to continue your relationship. So I hope you don't have to force it" Kyle said.

Shane took a slow step until he reached Kyle's body which was standing not far from him. He patted Kyle's shoulder gently with his very calm style.

"I don't think you need to interfere in my affairs with Lara, because you're nobody."

"I care about Ela and I don't like it when you force it."

"What's your business? It's just about the two of us!"

"Because I'm one step ahead of you, Shane!" hiss Kyle with a dismissive grin on his face.

Hearing that, Shane's eyes were filled with question marks. What makes Kyle so confident if he is one step ahead of Shane?

"I've proposed to Elara, and it just so happens that her family has accepted my proposal. Today I'm here because I'm going to pick up my future wife, so I think you should start trying to get rid of your hopes with her" Kyle said with a sneaky sneer at the end of his sentence.

Hearing the two's argument, as well as Kyle's speech, which can provoke Shane's anger, Elara immediately pulls his best friend's arm - because when Shane approaches Kyle earlier - Elara's hand has been released by the man.

Elara invites Kyle away solely because she does not want any commotion around the place to teach her. While in the eyes of Shane, Elara's actions greatly disappointed him, especially Kyle had just said that his proposal had been accepted by the Elara family in Indonesia.

"Well!" Shane's baritone voice managed to make Elara stop her steps and turned to look at Shane's disappointed face there.

Shane shook his head faintly with a sad face that looked lost to hope. "Comeback to me, Lara!" begingly.

Elara held back her tears from falling in front of Shane. He actually could not make the man like this, but he also realized that they would not be together.

"Lara, please!"

Elara looked towards the ceiling and Shane seemed to be waiting for the girl understandingly. Whatever Elara's decision today is an answer for the three of them going forward. If Elara still chose to go with Kyle it means Elara also accepted the man's proposal, but Shane really hopes Elara's step will return to him,

Suddenly, Elara actually released her fingers on Kyle's arm. He also stared at the goal at his friend.

"I'm sorry, Kyle. I still reject your proposal. Be good and don't fight."

Elara starts to shuffle, Kyle thinks Elara has arrived at her decision to go back to Shane, but the girl's move is not to Shane there, but in a different direction where a bus just stopped in front of the Stop. Elara ran and finally got on the bus.

On the other hand, Shane was also amazed by the departure of Elara, who was, she thought Elara would follow Kyle or return to him after she saw him in person when the girl broke away with Kyle - whom Elara had pulled away from the place.

The two men both stared at the bus that Elara had just boarded and slowly began to move away from the area.

As Shane's gaze skimmed with Kyle's eyes there-the two suddenly threw their faces away at the same time.

Shane immediately galloped away. His destination was the Elara Apartment, but after a while on the way there, he did not find his girl in the Apartment.

Along with that, Kyle also arrived at the same place. Moving slowly, Kyle occupied a waiting chair - which was located between the corridors there.

"You love her?" kyle asked, pointing at Shane.

"I don't think you need to ask what you already know the answer to."

"I think you better just give me an answer, yes or no."

"Yes," Shane replied straightforwardly.

"If Ela hadn't told her not to fight, I would've beaten you up earlier," Kyle's circus with a cynical corner of his lips. He still thinks that Shane only wants to play two women.

Shane was silent, not responding. After all, he felt that there was no business with Kyle and for him serving Kyle was a waste of his time.

"You played two women. One is my best friend and the other is my cousin!" sergeant Kyle finally.

Kyle's words, managed to make Shane step stopped, his jaw feels hardened when he heard a sarcasm from Kyle's mouth.

"I don't know how much you want Elara .. Obviously, if you really love her you should be able to take her off for her happiness."

Shane laughed out loud. "I'm not that naive, I have a commitment to keep things that I believe in" he replied steadily.

"And finally that commitment made Elara feel forced."

Shane grinned. "He won't feel compelled as long as he loves me."

"Are you sure Elara loves you?"

"I never doubted it."

"Elara's too innocent for that, you should understand that all she feels is a momentary feeling."

"I've guessed that the conversation with you is just a waste of my time. Excuse me," said Shane who stepped back.

Kyle stared at Shane's back which slowly disappeared at the end of the corridor.

Kyle knows Elara too well, so without knocking on the door of the girl's apartment - he can already guess if Elara is not there after all this trouble.

Kyle had decided to go to the Elara Apartment because he was sure that Shane would be there. He was only willing to influence the man to immediately move away from Elara and think about all this further. Kyle doesn't want Shane to keep forcing Elara, unfortunately the man is hard to provoke - as it turns out Shane has faith that Elara will keep coming back to him as long as their feelings remain the same.

"Do I have to give up?" inner Kyle. He always wanted the best for Elara. And about Shane, Kyle doesn't want Elara to get hurt by that guy.
