ELARA: FATED TO LOVE

ELARA: FATED TO LOVE
7. Don't joke around

Honestly, if you remember the incident that had happened between her and Shane this morning, Elara felt very embarrassed, but somehow Elara also did not regret it. The girl did not want to blame Shane and discussed it again later.

Elara would assume it was a sweet and quite inadvertent stored in her heart alone. The rest, Elara will make it seem like it never happened in front of Shane.

So, this afternoon Elara tried to prepare lunch for the two of them, Elara tried to act ordinary like nothing had made the two awkward.

"Lara, what are you doing?"

Shane returned after previously saying goodbye to finding firewood to be used as a campfire tonight. Previously, he asked Elara to stay in the tent, he was afraid that there were wild animals who realized there were humans in the forest. Unfortunately, when Shane returned he saw the girl was stirring something on the stove of his small furnace.

"I made our lunch." Elara answered Shane with a faint smile, she had promised herself to behave accordingly.

"Don't do this again, not outside the tent if I'm not around."

"Why?"

"There may be a wild beast that is stalking you!" Shane said loudly and stressed.

Elara instantly fell silent, before she had not thought much of what Shane had called.

"You're scaring me, Shane!"

"No, I said seriously. Next time don't repeat. Can't you?"

Elara nodded, she finished her cooking session then entered the tent again.

Shane scratched his temple when he saw Elara pass.

"Lara, why did you come in? You haven't even had lunch?" Shane tried to call Elara from outside the tent door.

"You eat first."

"Are you mad at me?"

"No! You're the one who's mad at me."

"Gosh ..." Shane rubbed his face. "Can I go into the tent?" tanyanya.

"Oh, this is your tent."

Shane flicked the tent that was not buttoned by Elara, he sat in front of her while looking inside where Elara sat in the corner.

"I'm not mad at you, I'm just worried about you. Hmm?" Shane felt Elara offended because she said too loudly. All of that happened spontaneously because he was afraid Elara was really in danger if she did something that had been forbidden.

"I know. I'm the only one who can't think as far as you're afraid. I'm sorry."

"Lara, I should have reminded you from the beginning. I should not only ban you from getting out of the tent, but I should also explain the risks. It's my fault that just forbid without saying the reason."

Slowly Elara lifted her head and looked at Shane's eyes that were glaring at her with a look full of regret.

"Now, let's have lunch. Didn't you cook it? Please," please Shane.

Elara finally nodded, she deeply regretted ignoring Shane's warning, which was why she felt guilty. Shane is worried about him, while he violates Shane's request not to get out of the tent as long as the man has not returned.

"What are you cooking?"

"Just cook the macaroni in the food supply bag."

Shane smiled thinly. "It must be good, let's eat."

Elara complies with Shane's desire to have lunch together, but she remembers something.

"I see the food stock is running low, Shane."

"You're right."

"This must be beyond your predictions, right? This food should be enough for yourself, but it turns out you have to share it with me. Your food runs out faster and you'll have to stay longer in this forest waiting for my condition to improve."

Elara's right, Shane should only camp for two days. But because given Elara's condition, he could not force to immediately move from that place. It certainly affects the food stocks that are getting thin. The longer there, it means more food stocks. Meanwhile, the food Shane brought was only enough for himself for two days because he never thought he would help others and the situation became like this.

Shane finally thinned his lips, he returned the look of Elara's eyes that were staring at him wistfully. They look at each other with their own minds.

In Elara's mind is guilt has troubled Shane. But Shane never felt that way because finding Elara was like an answer to a question he had asked the world.

"The food stock will not be enough especially if it is really waiting for you to recover. But, calm down .. I'll try not to starve."

"How is it?"

"But, Shane?"

Elara felt more and more guilty for bothering this man in front of her. Moreover, Shane should not need to lack food, this is all because of his presence.

"Listen, Lara. I promise I won't let you starve." Shane said confidently while staring at the two eyeballs Elara alternately.

Elara feels Shane is very responsible to her, but Shane has no obligation to feed her. Even from the beginning, Shane was under no obligation to help him.

Their conversation came to a halt when the rain suddenly descended. Shane asks Elara to enter the tent, followed by him after cleaning the items outside so as not to be hit by rain.

Now the two are in a tent with rain conditions that have no signs of abating.

Suddenly, Shane's hand tries to touch the wound on Elara's temple, making the girl grimace a little.

"Why?" elara asked confusedly seeing Shane's actions.

"The wound is still not healed" said Shane, he only tried to explain if the treatment was intended to check the condition of the wound in the temple Elara.

"It's only been two days, the wound couldn't have healed in a short time, Shane."

"Yes, it does take longer. It's a burn, not a regular wound."

"I think the wound will definitely be broken."

"Yes, I think so too."

Elara smiled softly. "That means my face won't go back to how it was before."

Shane cupped both Elara's cheeks. "Don't be sad, this wound is just a little. It can't cover the beauty you've got."

This time Elara chuckled. He even hit Shane on the shoulder because he felt the man had teased him.

"Basic of the great woo!" point at Elara while patting slowly Shane's hand that is still on her cheek. Honestly speaking, Elara was afraid of being lulled by this man's charm.

Shane smiled obliquely. "I'm just telling the truth" he said.

"You must have a lot of women."

"Yes, you're not wrong" Shane joked and gave Elara a chuckle.

However, Shane hastily read the sentence so that Elara does not misunderstand it.

"What I mean is my mother, my grandmother and my little sister, they're the women I have."

"That's right, Shane!" Elara was getting excited to hear Shane's statement.

"But there's one woman I don't have yet." Shane sounded serious now, but he also chuckled like Elara.

This time Elara stopped her laughter, she looked at Shane with a squeak on her forehead.

"That woman is you."

Elara shook her head, she looked at Shane who still looked serious this time.

"Don't keep joking, Shane. You can make me misrepresent."

Shane pulled the corner of his lips into a grin. "What do you mean to me?" he said back asking.

Elara shrugged her shoulders. "Yes, maybe I'll interpret your words as a declaration of love, so make sure you say them before you say them."

"If it is, how?"

Elara smiled witfully. "Where possible, we've only been together for two days here and you----"

Elara could not connect words because Shane immediately grabbed her.

"I'm in love with you, Lara. Would we be together?" sergeant the man who immediately made Elara's heart feel melos.

"You're kidding me!" Elara laughed gigglingly, hoping that it could melt the atmosphere.

"I'm serious, don't say my statement as a game."
