62. Disappear

During the trip to the Hospital, Shane unceasingly commented a smile. He was very sure if Elara was pregnant with the fruit of their love.

Shane kissed the back of Elara's hand repeatedly. No matter if Elara had asked him to stop, but Shane still did.

"I haven't even gotten the results of the examination yet but you've been acting this way. What if I was really pregnant, I thought you would carry me from the Hospital all the way to the Mansion" Elara said in a sneering tone. Her husband's attitude seemed to be excessive.

"No problem. I'll do it with pleasure." Shane instead responded to his wife's innuendo with a serious answer.

Elara looked at Shane. "Don't expect too much, if the results don't match your expectations then you'll be disappointed" he warned.

Shane smiled instead. "I'm pretty sure if you're really pregnant" she said calmly.

Until finally, their journey was over. The car driven by Max was already parked steadily in the Hospital slot - when Shane and Elara got out of there - and immediately enrolled in the gynecologist.

"Shane, can I go to the toilet for a second?" pamit Elara's. Her bladder feels full.

"Yes, let me be with you."

"No, no, you just wait for the line number here, I'm just a moment" declined Elara smooth.

Shane doesn't want to risk letting Elara go alone. He chose to rise from his seat to accompany Elara.

"I'll accompany you."

"But if my name gets called, the queue number gets missed, Shane. Come on, I'm just gonna go to the toilet, not run away from you." Elara smiled to reassure her husband.

Not wanting to argue, Shane finally agreed and let Elara go to the toilet that was not too far away. Shane did that too because he didn't want Elara to say it too much.

Without Elara realizing that his rejection actually caused new problems because it had been almost 20 minutes Shane waited but Elara did not return. Even their queue number was completely missed because Shane was reluctant to enter the examination room without Elara who should have been checked.

Feeling unwell, Shane immediately contacted Max to follow him to the gynaecology. While calling Max, Shane also moves to find his wife in the hospital toilet but in fact he does not find anyone.

"My wife doesn't exist, Max! Quickly find him all over this Hospital!" shane panicked with all his raging feelings.

Several times he called Elara's number but did not connect. Shane's getting giddy and not necessarily directional. What happened to Elara, there's no way his wife ran away from him? Shane suddenly feels weak because he does not know the whereabouts of Elara.

Especially when Max returns to his presence with a report that he has not found Elara anywhere.

Can Shane curse now?

Shane searched his wife's tracks through the Hospital CCTV. He couldn't have calmed down before he found Elara. Even his wife has not been examined, why did Elara suddenly disappear?

"Stop! Stopit! The video pauses in the 17th minute" Shane told the worker who played the hospital's cctv tape in a special room that Shane had visited there.

"Yes, this is my wife. He's headed for the toilet corridor" Shane murmured. He did see Elara entering the hallway that connects to the nearest bathroom from the location of the Poly womb.

The video was turned back, but saw no signs of Elara coming back out of the toilet.

"Have you been looking for her in that toilet, Max?" Shane's eyes stopped on the Assistant.

Max nodded. "All the rooms here I've been through. Even the empty space." Max does that with the help of Shane's other men, whom he immediately calls upon hearing that his boss' wife has disappeared.

Shane snorted softly, followed by the sound of breathing being exhaled with ruffles.

"Elara .. Where are you?" Shane wondered. There is fear, worry and confusion. I feel like everything was okay. Why did Elara suddenly disappear?

Shane is like racking his brain to solve this, usually he can still think even in the crucial moments like now. Unfortunately, when it comes to Elara he is always weak and difficult to find a solution because his brain and heart seem out of sync and contradictory.

His brain was looking for a way out, while his heart felt a great ripple that Shane had to admit that he was unable to think anymore now. His head was now full of Elara's condition, where was the woman and with whom did Elara go?

Thinking of the possibility if Elara left deliberately made Shane's brain immediately deadlocked.

"Find my wife! Find her! Or you'll never be able to breathe oxygen again tomorrow!" shane told all his men who were deployed to find Elara, including Max, who was still there.

Didn't they agree to check on Elara today? Even Shane was already hopeful that his wife was actually pregnant with his child. But why isn't Elara there?

"Lara, you couldn't have intentionally left me." Shane. He realized something was wrong now. Moreover, Elara's situation is not healthy to make a conscious escape. So, there was no way his wife would purposely leave him. Not likely.

If Shane used to be able to find Elara easily through info from a travel. Now Shane would have done that too if only it could have found any trace of Elara's departure.

"Max, look for traces of Elara's departure through travel. See the flight schedule of any aircraft, ship or transfortation. Youunderstand?"

Max nodded. He's just as pissed off as Shane is now. Max also knew that something was wrong.

"And .. I asked for a copy of that cctv!" tell Shane to his assistant.

Two days later, Shane has found no sign of Elara's departure.

From the cctv investigation, he found nothing. So many people passed by in the corridor to the toilet. Especially women, because it is a toilet that is close to the polystyrene.

"Sir, it looks like this is an oddity." Jose, who helped Shane in the search for Elara, began to say his speculation about the cctv recording that has been played repeatedly since Elara disappeared.

"What?" Shane said quickly, hoping to find a bright spot because none of the transports wrote off the departure on behalf of his wife. Even if Elara was going to leave Germany, it was very unlikely because once she arrived at her residence the other day, Shane immediately looked for Elara's letters including her passport which was still neatly arranged in the closet. This proves that Elara is still in Germany and not out of the country.

"Some people came out of the toilet corridor. But, I suspect this ..." Jose paused the footage as two people were seen coming out of the toilet. One stood up and the other was driven in a wheelchair. His appearance was ordinary, but his face was not clearly exposed.

Jose zoomed in on the picture he was pausing. It turned out that the woman pushing the wheelchair wore glasses and a scarf that covered almost half of her face.

For the other woman, who was sitting in a wheelchair, only wore a Hoodie that covered her head. However, Shane's eyes immediately recognized that it was his wife.

"Try magnifying the picture again" Shane told Jose.

Shane wants to make sure of something he suspects. Is it true that the woman in the wheelchair and wearing the Hoodie is his wife?

But unfortunately he was unable to clearly see the shape of the ring the woman was using. The footage instead shows an image that is increasingly blurred or blurry if the resolution is enlarged.

But, somehow Shane's instincts and beliefs actually believe that the one sitting in the wheelchair is Elara.

"My feeling is that Elara was kidnapped." Shane puts his head on Max and Jose there. "Because there is very little chance of Elara leaving. There's no reason for him to run away from me, we don't fight, we're also in good shape." Shane's voice choked at the end of his sentence.

However, Shane tries to look okay, in fact he is not good. The loss of Elara made half her life spirit fly somewhere.

"Please, help me find him!" It looks like it's not the usual Shane. Never before has Shane ever said a request like this to his Assistant or his workers. This shows that he has completely lost his true self.

Emma herself looks sad to learn that Elara is missing and that it is very impactful for her son. Several times he tried to calm Shane down, but Shane seemed unfocused on what he was talking about.

"Calm down, Shane. Your wife will be found."

"I've reported this to the police." Shane does not usually involve the apparatus in every problem, but this time he did that and again it shows that Shane has done the opposite of his usual self. "... but the police are still searching and have not found a bright spot."

"Do you have any enemies who have been bothering you lately?" emma asked opened up her son's mind.

"My rivals are many, should I suspect one of them?"

"Maybe it's true this is your rival, Shane. This happened after you announced your marriage, right?" emma said reminded.

And Shane admits it has a point but he also knows that his Rival is unlikely to do anything that leads to crime, except ...

"Mayean ..." Shane hissed, suddenly he remembered the woman. Is this all Megan?

Only Megan was the last to get into a fight with him. Even threatening him just because he did not give her what she wanted - money, money and money.
