25. Attempts

Elara wanted to escape from this situation immediately. He doesn't want his meeting with Shane to be seen by Kyle. However, Kyle-Shane's eyes are Stevi's husband - although that's not the case.

Elara is also not ready to tell Kyle-about the relationship that had happened between him and Shane-because this is indeed very complicated.

"Well!"

Elara did not budge, she immediately entered the campus area.

While from his position, Kyle saw Elara who was walking in a hurry. He also sees a man walking like chasing Elara, but because the man's position is on his back, Kyle is unable to see the man's face clearly.

Kyle sniffed his shoulders, maybe it was Elara's partner, he thought. Then he started his car back up to get out of the campus.

While Shane sticks to his intentions, he will have Elara talk, even if necessary, forcing the girl to change her decision and think about their relationship.

"Stop chasing me, Shane!" hiss Elara who knows if Shane continues to follow his steps along the campus hallway.

"I want to talk!" Shane galloped fast until finally able to align steps with Elara.

"I don't think there's anything we need to talk about anymore, Shane!"

"I don't approve of your decision."

"I don't need your approval and my decision is final."

"Mara ..." Shane's voice turned soft. "Don't sacrifice our feelings because of this situation, we can still talk about it to find the best way out" he asked.

This time Elara turned to Shane, because since then she just stared straight ahead with a step that continued to run fast.

"About risk I'd be considered a snatch of people's husbands?" elara Sarcas.

"The truth is I'm not Stevi's husband!" Shane says while blocking Elara's arm. "Do you want to keep doing this? All right, I'll come to you every day until all your students here will know about our problems!" his insistence.

"Don't force me, Shane!" angry Elara. This time he stopped his steps and stared naggingly at the man.

"If this isn't you, I won't force anyone either!"

"Oh my ..." Elara breathed a heavy sigh. "I'm busy today and you're making me late" he lamented.

"Well, I'll wait for you in the apartment!"

Hearing that, Elara's eyes immediately widened for a moment.

"No! Don't come to my apartment again."

Shane smiled slanted in his position. "Why? You afraid Kyle's got us both there?" guess it.

Elara was silent at the thought of thinking about her current state of Apartmen - where Eve-mother Kyle-was also waiting for her.

"Don't go there, I'll see you after my work is done today" Elara said at last.

Shane grinned. "alright. But one more question. What's your relationship with Kyle?" exacting.

"It's none of your business." Elara passed away leaving Shane who was just smacking a smile because of the girl's attitude. Instead of giving up, Shane likes Elara's rejection even more and will continue to force her in any way.

Elara actually realized her speech by following Shane's desire to talk. He had no choice because Shane wanted to wait for him in the apartment. Instead of Shane having to meet Eve there, and then tell about their relationship, Elara would rather just follow the man's desire to talk.

Elara is not unwilling to be honest with Kyle and Eve, but because of their relatives' relationship with Stevi it was - that made Elara unravel the truth. If only he had come into contact with a man who had nothing to do with Kyle's relatives, perhaps he would have been straightforward. But the thing is, Kyle knows Shane as Stevi's husband and that makes Elara go awry. She felt like a girl who would ruin someone else's household, but she didn't.

"Just go. What do you want to talk about, Shane?" elara asked as they were at one table and sitting face to face.

"Why rush once? Is Kyle waiting for you?" terka Shane cynical.

Elara clucked her tongue, Shane always talked about Kyle and he didn't like to hear it. Elara is not thinking of Kyle, but she has promised Eve to go home soon after she finishes teaching, but because Shane-he reneged on her promise.

"With Kyle?"

"Yes, with Kyle!" elara replied annoyed.

Shane growled softly, yet looked back at Elara's late-goals. "I'll start our conversation if you tell me what your relationship is with him" he said.

"Jeez, Shane!" Elara thought for a moment, then came to an idea that suddenly flashed through her head. "I'm going to marry Kyle" he continued.

Hearing that, of course Shane was surprised.

"No! You lied!"

"You always ask and talk about Kyle, but when I tell you the truth you think I'm lying,"

Shane clenched both his hands tightly. He is very upset to hear the words of Elara who says if the girl and Kyle will get married.

"Lara, look at me!" shane said at last.

Elara looked away, turning her face away.

"Look at me, Lara!" Shane emphasized his words, making Elara finally succumb and stare at the handsome face of the man. Elara prayed in her heart that she would not be affected by her heart always losing to Shane.

"Don't you remember what happened between us? Have you forgotten about it? I won't beg you if you don't mean anything to me."

Elara was silent, she knew Shane's life wasn't easy. Moreover, it must be Stevi's husband in public, when in reality it is not so.

"Please, Lara! We're going through this together. I'll take you to see my mom, explain to her that I also have a life of my own and can't continue to be a shield for Stevi because of her pregnancy."

Elara lowered her head, looking at the fingers on her own lap. He felt so wrong. She knows Shane is this serious about her, but Elara is just scared. Fear of facing something he has not yet done. Feeling Shane's life is complicated and he doesn't want to get into that hassle.

"I'm .. I'm afraid," admits Elara in the end.

Shane shook his head faintly. "Is that fear so much bigger than you feel for me?" tanyanya, the intonation of her voice began to soften after Elara would respond to him related to their relationship.

"So then, I just don't want to go too far because I'm afraid it'll hurt me even more if the results don't match what I expected."

Shane approached Elara's position, left her seat, and then held onto both of the girl's shoulders.

"I'm sure if my mom knew I had a boyfriend, she wouldn't force me to go on like this with Stevi."

"But, Shane." Elara hesitates, however - the man's mother - has asked Shane to replace Shawn and continues to marry Stevi. Although in the end Shane refused firmly, but until now his mother still asked Shane to do it.

Then, will Shane's mother accept their relationship?

"I have a life of my own and I chose you, Lara. I'm sure you'll understand that."

"All right, we'll try."

Hearing that, Shane reached for Elara's fingers and kissed her repeatedly.

"Congratulations, Lara. I'm gonna prove that we can get through this."

Elara could only smile. He knew this answer would affect many things in his life. Including the views of people who already consider Shane is a married man.
