The supposedly short journey to a hospital where Dr. Reinhard's practice was so long that Daffin remained silent throughout the trip.
Holy jeez!!! Looks like my ears are starting to opiate with a heavy voice typical of Daffin.
"Why that face of yours?" asked Daffin who immediately made me look.
Our eyes met until I lowered my eyebrows as a signal to Daffin over his question.
"Your cheeks are bulging like pufferfish!" point to Daffin, followed by a deafening laughter.
If you know it will be like this, it would be better if Daffin just shut up like before.
"Hey, don't be angry! Why are you so angry so easily, My Starfish? Hemm?" persuade Daffin, his index finger poked me gently in the cheek.
"Because you're a bitch!" I answered, turning my face away.
"God! Why don't you just have a little bit of Maya's tenderness?" grumbled Daffin, his face starting to look annoyed.
Daffin's words at least disturbed my mind. On second thought, my mother was a gentle woman, and even in her anger she was more silent and smiling. As for me, every single thing I saw and heard always sparked my anger especially if it was related to Daffin. Is it because of the pregnancy hormones? I need to see a doctor immediately to find an answer.
In the middle of my banquet, suddenly Daffin's car stopped to make my body pushed forward. Lucky Daffin held my body so that my head did not hit the front seat.
"Are you okay, Mrs Stevano?" daffin asked worriedly, to which I answered a nod of the head. Then Daffin turned to look at Shaka who had just turned his head. "Disha! I thought maybe you needed a vacation." throw Daffin cold.
"No, sir, forgive my carelessness." replied Shaka weakly.
A flash of anger was seen in Daffin's eyes. "You"
"No problem, Shaka! I'm the sloppy one." I'm afraid, cut off Daffin's words.
Daffin breathed deeply. "Yes, come on, let's go down! Doctor Reinhard must have been waiting."
Before opening the car door, I lowered the car glass to observe the surroundings. "Can't we just go down in the basement?"
It seemed like my enmity with the sun was not over yet, as my head immediately felt spinning as I looked outside.
"There's no basement, there's only that." Daffin's index finger pointed towards the parking building opposite the hospital building. "Just relax, the lobby is free from the sun. Anyway, there's me who'll protect you."
"But ...," I hesitated.
"Here you go, come on, get off!" tell Daffin to open the door.
While Daffin was circling the car, Shaka opened the door for me. "Thank you, Shaka." I said.
Daffin's right! This hospital lobby does install a canopy that is sufficient enough to be free from sunburn, but sunlight still penetrates through the left and right sides that directly hit my body.
I felt a tremendous dizziness and also a completely unbearable nausea.
It seemed like Daffin noticed my discomfort so much that Daffin opened his suit and covered my body with his big suit, then grabbed me by the shoulder. Without saying a word, Daffin led me into the hospital.
"Sit down!" Daffin sat me in the waiting chair. "Wait a minute! I'll be right back." pinta Daffin, while I only nod weakly due to the growing nausea.
I was just about to stand up and go to the toilet, and suddenly Daffin came back and had a plastic bag in his hand.
Daffin sat beside me with a breath of breath, then opened a bottle of mineral water that he removed from the bag he was carrying.
"Drink!" pinta Daffin handed me a bottle of water.
I just gaped at Daffin who looked like someone who had just run a marathon.
"It seems you need it more." I pushed the drink back to Daffin.
Daffin looked at me confused, then his eyeballs spun lazily and put a smile on the corner of his lips. "I need your smile more."
Again, Daffin thrust the bottle at me with a little force until I finally obeyed him.
"Is it better?" ask Daffin, as soon as I hand him the bottle.
"Little." I replied weakly, as I still felt dizzy.
Daffin reached into the bag and pulled out a piece of wind oil. "Hirup! Maybe you'll feel better."
This time, I just followed and did everything Daffin said. Most importantly I don't get dizzy and nauseous anymore.
"Thank you ..," my great-granddaughter, with a downcast look.
"Is it too hard to say that word?" daffin asked, his hand holding my chin until our gaze met.
I immediately turned my eyes. "No! It's just that I still feel nauseous."
"Alright, we'll wait until you feel better. Only then will we see Dr. Reinhard. Or maybe, we should see a gynecologist first." suggested Daffin, he leaned my body against the wall and chugged the water in the bottle of the drink without rest.
To be honest, Daffin's attention like this makes me feel full and guilty for constantly hating him. However, I still hesitated to express my feelings to her because I was afraid that one day Daffin would leave me.
"I'm sorry, Mrs Stevano!" daffin said suddenly, making me wail.
"For everything." Daffin straightened his body. "If I hadn't made you pregnant with my son, you wouldn't have experienced this. It must be hard for you to get pregnant." she explained.
"It's not hard, it's just a hassle." I chuckled. "When I was pregnant with Erlan's twins, I didn't feel strange things like my pregnancy this time. I don't hate Erlan's face either, but I'm always hungry at midnight. Totally different from my pregnancy this time."
"Maybe it's because the Daddy's different" Daffin said, there's jealousy in his words.
"Maybe he wants to avenge his Daddy's cruelty to me." I chanted as I rubbed my stomach which was starting to harden.
I saw Daffin snorting then smiling knotfully. "It turns out Daddy's son is vindictive."
Daffin's hands were outstretched and almost touched my stomach, but he didn't. I saw there was doubt in his eyes as if something was blocking him.
Unable to see such a Daffin, I intend to pull his hand and place it on my stomach. Suddenly someone greeted me.
"Ayasha? You're Ayasya, aren't you?" exclaimed that person, making me turn my head and open my sunglasses. "Really! You're Ayasya." he said.
"Om Rei?" many doubt.
"Yes, this is Om, Ayasya. How's it going? Holy hooch! We haven't seen each other for a long time." said Rei, then tried to hug me, but it was blocked by Daffin.
"Be careful with your body, Doctor Reinhard!" said Daffin flat, with a sharp look.
"Doc-Doctor Reinhard?" My esophagus felt choked to hear Daffin mention Om Rei to Dr. Reinhard.
Om Rei smiled at me. "Yes, Ayasya! He is the doctor at this hospital. And Om's name is Reinhard."
Flashback...
"Aca, come on, out! There's a rich uncle who brought us lots of toys!" my friend shouted while running out.
Every month, there will be a kind uncle who brings toys, candy, and also new clothes for us in the orphanage. My friends say that uncle is very handsome and good, but I don't know why I didn't want to see him at all. Every time that uncle came, I would hide in the backyard with Brother Erlan to avoid him.
Like today, I chose to play alone in the backyard because Erlan was taking the exam to enter college.
"Hello, Beautiful Boy! What's yourname?" greet someone standing in front of me.
I looked up and saw a very handsome adult man with brown eyes looking at me. Surprisingly, the man looked surprised when he looked into my eyes.
"Ayasya ...," I replied slowly.
"Ah, sorry! What's yourname?" ask again.
"Geez!" I said, this time harder.
The grown man smiled. "Why play by yourself? Not coming with friends outside?"
I shook my head. "I don't like to accept alms."
"Yes, God!" The grown man was flabbergasted by my answer. "Your mind is amazing, Ayasya, but it's not alms. Just sharing with each other." obviously.
"Share only for two" I said plainly.
The grown man smiled again, then took out a chocolate bar that was given to me. "This is not alms. I want to share with you."
Seeing the sincerity in his eyes, I accepted the chocolate and divided it into two parts.
"This one's for me." I took one piece of chocolate and gave another part to the grown man. "And this is for you."
At first, she refused the chocolate I gave her, but she finally accepted it when I ate one part of the chocolate I took.
"Thank you, Om ..," I said, hanging, because I didn't know the name of the grown man.
"Rei. You can call me Om Rei."
Flashback off ...
"If I had known that Dr. Reinhard was Om Rei, I wouldn't have taken this" I said happily.
"So you know each other?" ask Daffin suspiciously.
"of course! Om Rei this is the man who -"
"I don't want to hear it! Just get our business done with him and get out of here."
