A warm feeling surrounded my heart all night. My hands tightly hugged the bouquet of flowers that Daffin had brought. I continued to smell the beautiful flowers that Daffin gave me, but not because of the fragrance of the flowers that I liked but the scent of Daffin's body that stuck to my sense of smell.
"I love you, Daffin ...."
And that night, beautiful dreams adorned my sleep until morning.

"What do you see?" I asked with my forehead wrinkled because Daffin kept looking at me with a strange look.
"Can't you change your clothes, Mrs Stevano? I'm a little worried that the sun will be disturbed for fear of losing your beauty to the point that she'll sting your skin." Daffin tucked my hair that was deliberately unraveling.
Today, I am wearing a white dress with open shoulders. I also dressed up as much as possible to impress Daffin and convince him that he did not choose me wrong. Not only can Reena look beautiful and elegant, but I can too.
My lips are smiling. "The sun is no longer hostile to me."
"Well!" Daffin breathed his breath rough. "I'd rather you be hostile to the sun" he lamented.
Let Daffin continue to mutter obscurely, for I know very well that what he mutters is only because of his excessive possessiveness.
"So? Are we gonna stay here?" I shrugged both my shoulders.
Daffin grabbed my hand and took me. "No! We'll say goodbye to your mom and dad first."
My forehead winches. "really? I thought you'd take me in secret."
"You think I'm a kidnapper?" seloroh Daffin, laughter poking from his sensual lips.
"Anybody would think that because last night you came through my window and this morning you did the same thing" I said indifferently.
Daffin stopped his steps and turned to look at me. "It's because I want to feel how the struggle to get the blessing of my father-in-law."
"Silly!!!" I said, then walked ahead of Daffin who was chuckling behind me.
Even though I showed my anger and resentment in front of Daffin, but honestly in the depths of my heart, I was happy to be able to have this kind of time with Daffin. She was my first love and my first experience of being in a relationship over love.
"Good morning, dear," said the mother, surprising me who was still late in daydreaming.
I smiled clumsyly. "Morning, Mum."
"Where are you going, Lily?" father asked, his eyes squinted as he looked at me.
"I'll take him for fun, Father-in-law," said Daffin, who had just entered the dining room.
Father's eyes widened to see Daffin who was already standing before him, without the slightest fear.
"Daffin? How did you get in? Did you two sleep together last night?" ask me to panic.
Daffin's blue eyes glanced at me. "I'm sure Mrs Stevano misses that, Dad."
What say? I miss sleeping with her? Heh! I think he's the one who can't wait to beat me.
The corner of my eye glanced sharply at Daffin before answering father's concerns. "Dad, me and Daffin didn't sleep together. He came to my room this morning at my request. For some reason, my baby just kept kicking me in the stomach. I think maybe he misses his father."
I rubbed my big belly gently and looked at father expectantly. I wish you'd believe my reasons for using my son. Forgive your stupid mother, darling!
"Reyno, let them go! Do you want our granddaughter to lack the affection of her father that her mother experienced?" I touched my father's hand which was straightened.
Nice work! That's my mom's new.
Dad seemed to think and stood up and approached Daffin. "Good! Go, but remember not to make my daughter angry let alone sad!"
"Sure, Dad! His smile and happiness are my responsibility."
***
Along the way, I kept asking Daffin where he was taking me. However, unfortunately Daffin remained silent and only answered me with a smile full of meaning.
"You'll know once we get there."
That's the only thing Daffin keeps saying every time I ask. And the truth is that the answer just makes me more curious.
Tired of asking Daffin, I finally decided to look out the window. There were many beautiful scenery side by side with heartbreaking scenery. All of these things remind me that everyone's life always goes through different phases.
When I saw a lake and a crowded park on the side of the road when Daffin's car entered a residential complex, I realized that Daffin was taking me to his old house.
"Daffin, this ...," I asked with teary eyes.
I could feel the warmth of Daffin's hand on my cheek. "Yes, Mrs Stevano, this is where we met and became neighbors and eventually became husband and wife. This environment indirectly bears witness to the unification of our love."
"You're right, Daffin," I cried with tears rolling free from my eyes.
This time, Daffin did not wipe my tears. He did things I never expected, Daffin smelled my tears falling down my cheeks.
"Don't cry, Mrs Stevano! I can't see you sad like this." Daffin cupped both of my cheeks. "Leave all the sadness behind! Come on, be happy to step into our future!" exciting Daffin.
I nodded to approve Daffin's remark. From now on I must leave and forget the past so that I can start a new life.
***
Daffin's car entered a large house that was always my first sight every morning when Erlan was still alive. Just before Daffin's car entered his yard, I turned to my house across the street. Ah, I'm reminded of Erlan's brother.
The sound of the car door opening forced me to go back to the real world and forget my daydream. I turned and saw that Daffin had extended his hand to me. Without a word, I greeted Daffin by the hand and stepped out of the car.
The Stevano family mansion that once locked me up and became the departure place of my two sons, now stands firmly in front of me. In front of him lined up the servants as well as the well-dressed bodyguards.
"Hello, how's everything going?" my sap is friendly by waving my hand.
They all just nodded and saluted so that I could not continue with my bases.
"Come, in!" Daffin pulled my hand to follow him.
Just one step into the house, the memories and bad memories I had once experienced flashed like a movie in my head.
I blinked and immediately smiled stiffly. "Ah, yes, Daffin."
"Come!!!" take him as he steps into his reading room.
In his reading room, Daffin removed our hand links and walked to his desk and took out a document and gave it to me.
"What's this?" ask, when receiving the document.
"My divorce from Reena." Daffin folded his hands on his chest and leaned his body on the end of the table.
I read through the documents in my hand. It is written here clearly if Daffin and Reena are officially divorced.
My gaze rose and met Daffin's blue eyes. "This divorce is not enough to convince me, Daffin."
Daffin grinned and clucked. "I guessed it."
Daffin's hand grabbed the intercom that was on his desk and called some servants. Soon the servants came with their tense faces.
"Remove all the portraits in this house, especially those of my ex-wife. Don't let anything remain!" Daffin pointed to a large portrait showing the happiness of a wedding.
I sighed and continued to stare at Daffin without saying anything as the servants were still in this room. They work very deftly. In an instant, all the portraits of Reena and Daffin had already been gathered before us.
"It's over, sir," said the butler.
Daffin ruffled waist. "You sure you're all? No one is left?"
"Yes, sir" replied the butler.
"Good ! Burn everything!" decreed Daffin, instantly attracting the confused gazes of the servants.
Not only were the servants surprised, but I was as well. However, I remained silent and waited for Daffin to finish his work.
"Good, Sir." The servants took the portraits out of the Daffin reading room.
"Why burn, Daffin?" I asked, as soon as the servants left the room.
Daffin stepped up and reduced the distance between us. "Because I want to erase my past and fill it with you."
Holy jeez!!! I melt like a candle.
"But you're just getting rid of the portrait, not the person!" sergeant, there's still a little doubt in my heart.
Daffin replied, Suddenly someone knocked on the door and entered the room.
"I'm sorry, sir, the buyer has come" said the man, bowing slightly.
"Alright, get things done with him! I'll be there in a minute." Daffin nodded his head once.
The man bowed respectfully before exiting the room then left without looking over.
Both of my eyebrows swooped sharply as I stared at Daffin. "What buyer, Daffin?"
"Buyer of this house." Daffin smiled meaningfully.
"You sold this house? Wh why? Didn't you give this house to the female octopus?" I was still confused by all of Daffin's decisions.
Daffin pinched my nose. "I don't want my queen to continue to be jealous and angry with me all the time just because of trivial matters. I decided to sell this house because I didn't want Reena to make trouble in the future. This house was bought when I just married her, so I have to give this house to her. However, he misinterpreted my meaning. So I'd better sell this house, but I'll still hand over the proceeds from the sale to his biological parents. And about the subsidiary I gave her, I changed my mind and would replace it with an estate in the village where Reena's parents live."
My eyeballs moved watching Daffin's bead. "You sure? Doesn't this house have a lot of memories for you?"
"Painful memories. Only regret and falsehood are there in this house, Mrs Stevano," said Daffin.
I understand what Daffin means and I don't want to talk about it either. It is better that we both forget the past and focus on moving our lives forward.
"Mrs Stevano?"
"Yes?"
"What are you gonna do with your old house?" ask Daffin in doubt.
I took a deep breath. "Come away!"
Daffin took my hand. "I forgot all my past to live happily with you in the future. Can't you do the same?"
Daffin's words struck my heart. She demanded that I do the same thing she did, but why did I find it so hard to do it.
"Generic ...."
"I'm not going to force you. I know Erlangga is gone and will never disturb our household, but I don't want to share your heart with her memories." Daffin stared at the bead of my eyes.
Memories? That's all I have about Erlan's brother, but if it could hurt Daffin, then I should be willing to let him go.
"I get it, Daffin, but I can't sell my old house like you do." My gaze went down to avoid Daffin's sharp eyes.
"Why?" tanya Daffin is full of emphasis.
"The house was bought by Erlan's brother with great difficulty and I couldn't just sell it. Anyway, I don't have any rights to that house anymore." My head is still bowed with tears that have filled my eyes. "I ... I'll hand the house over to the Kencana family." I said.
Daffin immediately grabbed my body that was shaking from crying out loud. Nothing he said, just a gentle swipe of his hand that calmed me down.
My decision and today's Daffin's is the beginning of us starting a new life without secrets and falsities.
