Arrested Married CEO
A PATH

The longing that I had been yearning for was getting hotter when the figure that I missed was now in front of me.

Daffins. This man who had been my husband for almost a year, although to this day I still do not understand the reason behind all of Daffin's decisions.

"Mrs Stevano ..," Daffin stepped up to approach me.

My tears are spilling, I can't stand it anymore. I'm not sure if it's real or just a dream because whatever it is, I don't want to part with Daffin anymore.

My hand was about to reach Daffin's, but suddenly someone pulled my hand by force to get away from Daffin.

"DAFFIN!!!"

My eyes opened wide and realized that what had just happened was just a dream, and I was still in my room.

"What does that dream mean?" I muttered, then took a glass of water that was above the nightstand. "Water out? Huh! I should have asked Rania to fill it up earlier." I grumbled.

With a shunt step I came out of the room, intending to fetch some water in the kitchen. As I passed through the main door, I heard a slight commotion outside the house.

Hesitatingly I stepped up and peeked behind the gap of the curtain. How surprised I was to see Daffin fighting with some of my father's bodyguards. Some people have fallen down, while Daffin is still in a rage.

This is not true! If you find out, none of this will be good for our relationship. The road to our return will be closed.

Immediately I ran out though with breath gasping for breath due to the growing pregnancy and my increasing weight.

"Stop, Daffin!" I shouted, just as Daffin was about to throw his fist into the face of one of the guards.

Everyone involved in the fight with Daffin seemed surprised to see me, especially I was just wearing a nightgown. Yes, although not the sexy lingerie I used to wear at Daffin's house, but this nightgown pretty much prints my body.

"Close your eyes! Or I'll take them out one by one!" threatening Daffin, his tone and his gaze were so frightening.

Daffin's steps are getting closer to me. He opened his coat and put it on me. Before finally hugging my body tightly.

"I miss you, Mrs Stevano." said Daffin.

I could feel Daffin's body shaking violently. She cried without a sound, I'm sure of it. And when I saw a bodyguard trying to hit Daffin, I immediately raised my hand to stop him.

"Go!" my word.

"But, Miss" refused the bodyguard, but I interrupted him immediately.

"He's my husband! Not a criminal to keep away from me! If you were in his position, would you be separated from your wife and would you? Huh!" my Oceh, silence those guards.

"Sorry, miss, we're just following your orders." One of the guards tried to explain.

"I know! If you're angry, just tell him to be mad at me! I'm ready to accept the punishment, but let me talk to him for now!" my sergeant.

As if they had received orders, the guards left me alone with Daffin.

Long enough we hugged each other and let go of the longing. The wind that blows we no longer ignore. There was only love and longing until Daffin finally made his voice.

"I'm sorry, Mrs Stevano!" daffin said as he let go of his embrace. "I've been so guilty of you. I hurt and hurt your heart too often, but trust me I really love you!" said it.

I stared at Daffin's bead eyes that were focused on me. "You sure you love me? Not because I'm carrying your child?"

Daffin cupped both of my cheeks. "What are you saying, Mrs Stevano? I really love you. If I didn't love you, I wouldn't have tried desperately to fight those damn bodyguards just to see you."

This time, I have to trust him. At least I should learn to trust the man I love. Doesn't my heart want it? Then I have to get rid of the bad thoughts that are in my head.

"All right, I believe! I've also received your letter." I forced my smile to make Daffin happy.

"Then, where's the prize?" daffin asked, his eyes glaring at my body from head to toe.

Both my eyebrows swooped sharply. "What gift?"

"The gift I gave you?" daffin replied, his gaze still circling my body.

My mind was spinning, trying to understand Daffin's intentions and I remembered the pendant that came along with the letter.

"You looking for this?" I opened the Daffin suit that covered my body and showed him the pendant necklace he had given me.

Daffin's blue eyes are perfectly rounded. He immediately pulled the pendant that was attached to my neck. "Why is this?"

I lowered my head and looked towards Daffin pointing. It turned out that he was questioning the initials A and E that Erlan had given as my birthday present. I did deliberately make it side by side so that I could still remember Brother Erlan, while I could also feel the presence of Daffin.

"Why? Doesn't this look pretty? I purposely put it together because I don't want to forget the memories of Brother Erlan." I replied as I rubbed my initials and brother Erlan.

"You're right, Daffin! If you knew that, why would you still let your ex-wife align with your current legitimate wife? Ah, I forgot. I'm Lily, not Ayasya whom you've forcibly married." I quipped, making a sinless face.

Daffin's big hand took his grip off the necklace I was wearing to move to hold my hand. "What do you mean?"

I'm pissed off. "You don't know or just pretend to get this thing over with?"

"Say!" I felt Daffin's hand clutching my hand firmly. "What else have I done to make you hurt?" tanyakanya.

My eyeballs stared intently at Daffin. His face looked confused and anxious as well. Did he really not notice it? Or is he just trying to fool me?

I smiled cynically. "It seems you're used to lying and forgetting all your lies, Daffin."

"Now you're good at playing puzzles with me apparently," daffin said, then he lifted my body.

"Aaahhhh ..," I was so surprised by Daffin's act that even the suit that originally covered my body had fallen to the ground.

"Huuuuhh!!!" Daffin instantly silenced my mouth at a glance with his lips that felt cold. "Don't be noisy or your father will keep us away for good!" whisky Daffin.

I think I'm like a kid who's given candy. Even I remained silent as Daffin led me into his car.

Along the way, there was only silence between the two of us. I wanted to turn on the music, but Daffin banned me. He looked agitated and also in such a hurry that I paused my intention to ask let alone argue with him.

"Hospital?" I muttered, as soon as Daffin parked his car. "What are we here for?" my many.

Daffin was smiling faintly when I looked at him. "To seek the answer of your heart's restlessness."

I don't understand, but I'm following Daffin's wishes. And before I stepped out, Daffin had already stopped me.

"Wait first! Please don't come down, Mrs Stevano!" pinta Daffin, she blocked my way by not leaving the car door perfectly open.

"Why? Is that female octopus here too?" I was cynical, upset with Daffin.

Daffin clucked in annoyance. "It has nothing to do with Reena."

"Then, why don't you let me out?" ask me with pursed lips.

When Daffin was about to answer, suddenly a janitor came and brought a bag to give to Daffin.

"Wear this!" tell Daffin to hand it over to me. "I don't want anyone else to see the beauty of your body."

I opened the bag that Daffin gave me and took out the clothes that were all covered. He even bought me a hat.

"I don't want to wear this!" reject me, with both hands folded in the chest.

"I beg you, Mrs Stevano! Put this on and solve our problems immediately." Daffin started unbuttoning my nightgown.

What does this weird dress have to do with my household problems? This daffin. He loves to insult my little brain.

"All right! I'll wear it, but you gotta get out there and don't peek!" threaten me, but immediately welcomed the laughter of Daffin.

"I've even seen it all" joked Daffin, along with the closed car door.

It didn't take long, I changed my clothes and got out of the car. Not far from where the car was parked, I saw the figure of Daffin who was talking to someone?

"Daffin?" call me while patting Daffin on the shoulder.

Those blue eyes turned and looked at me. "You're done? Then come on!"

***

My gaze shimmered, sweeping through the room that seemed familiar to me. And sure enough! I saw Shaka lying on the bed.

"What are we here for?" I whispered, as Daffin grabbed my hand.

"To know the answers to all your questions."
