Arrested Married CEO

Arrested Married CEO
DAFFIN POV (INSIDE)

Love is indeed strange, as weird as I did this morning just because my little mistress made a simple gesture on her own initiative.

On the way to the office, I kept smiling all the way. I also greet the merchants who peddle their wares at the red light and buy whatever they offer me.

"Sir, what are we going to do with all that stuff?"

Shaka's question made me think, would my little mistress be quiet if I brought all these things home? I'll bet he'll babble all night and won't let me sleep in peace. So, what am I supposed to do with all this stuff?

While I was busy thinking of a way out of the ridiculousness I was making, I saw some little children taking shelter under the firmness of the city bridge.

"Stop, Shaka!" my word, which Shaka followed directly without asking. "Come down and share all these toys and food with the kids!"

Shaka followed the direction of my gaze and nodded, then quickly dropped all those items from the car.

Actually, I wanted to hand over all those things with Shaka, but daddy called me and it seemed like it was important.

"Hallo, Dad?" I said as soon as the call was connected.

"Where are you, Daff ?" daddy asked, there was anxiety in his voice.

"I'm on my way to the office, Dad, what's wrong?" I answered while watching Shaka who was dissolved in joy with the children.

"Where's Lily?" Daddy asked back which upset me a little.

"At home with Maya" I replied casually.

"Make sure he stays home! The guy I asked to spy on Reena said that Reena was planning to hurt Lily."

CLICK ...

I immediately disconnected the call without saying anything to Daddy.

"Boyou!!! Hurry back!" I shouted through the window.

Shaka quickly returned to the car. "Sorry, sir, has kept you waiting."

"No problem! If the circumstances allow, I would also like to see those children. Unfortunately, I can't. Now we have to go to the Kafeel company!" my sigh, regretting not being able to greet the children directly.

"Good, Sir." Shaka immediately drove the car to the Kafeel company.

The atmosphere of Kafeel's company has changed little since the leadership moved to doctor Reinhard. His abilities are indeed quite capable and need not be doubted anymore. It is fitting that Madam Stevano insisted on giving everything to her beloved om Rei.

"What's so great about him? I was much more handsome and young than him, too" I grumbled as I set foot into my father-in-law's room.

I don't know what's wrong with my heart, but I wouldn't want another man close to Stevanoku's mistress even if she was his own uncle.

"Welcome, Father's daughter-in-law," greeted my father-in-law when Shaka opened the door to her room.

My father-in-law's hand that stretched out made me immediately welcome him. "Thank you, Dad."

"What brings you here, Daffin? Is everything okay?" asked the father-in-law as soon as he let go of his embrace.

"There's nothing good, Dad, that's why I came to see you." I landed my ass on the couch.

The look on his father-in-law's face instantly turned frantic. "Say what's up? Is this about my daughter?"

"Your ex-daughter, Dad! He's planning to hurt my wife, your real daughter. And I'm here to ask for your help." I stared hard at my father-in-law.

"Say!" sergeant father-in-law.

"I heard you and Maya are leaving, and my wife wants to come with you. You know not how stubborn your daughter is? He won't listen to me, so I beg you to cancel your plans with Maya. That way, my stubborn wife will stay home." I explained.

I had so much hope for my father-in-law's decision that I knew he would be disappointed not to be able to spend time with his wife and daughter.

"Alright," replied the father-in-law without thinking anymore. "If that way keeps Lily safe, I'll do it" she said.

I drew a smile on his face. "Thank you, Dad."

My father-in-law suddenly stood up and immediately embraced me. "I'm supposed to thank you for taking care of my daughter all this time."

I felt like a stone had just struck my heart when my father-in-law said that. My mind suddenly spun into the past, what if the father-in-law found out if I framed his daughter to marry me? And I'm also responsible for the departure of her twin sons. Will he still thank me?

"Daffin?" The touch on my shoulder made me blink. "What are you thinking?" ask father-in-law.

"Nothing, Dad, I'm just worried about Stevano's state." I'm trying to find the right reason.

"No need to worry! I'm sure Maya will take care of Lily. After all, there are a lot of bodyguards and also CCTVs in your house. Lily must be safe there." Dad patted my shoulder.

"You're right, Dad! Then I have to go now. And one more thing, please don't tell Lily if I come here!" my door.

"Sure!"

That day, I don't know why my heart was so agitated. Though I continue to monitor the CCTV in my house to pay attention to the state of Mrs Stevano. She seems happy when she learns to cook with Maya. The lips of my little mistress continued to smile and laugh, making me want to gobble them up right away.

"Sir, we should go for a meeting now," suggested Shaka, he already had some files in his hand.

I frowned as I glanced at the clock in my hand. "Now? But the meeting's still two hours away."

Anxiety was clearly on Shaka's face. "I'm afraid the streets will be jammed today, sir."

What kind of reason is that? Although he was worried about that, but wasn't the distance from the office to the meeting place that had been agreed on only about thirty minutes? Added to his driving ability, I'm sure Shaka will take me on time to the meeting place.

"I'm lazy, Shaka," I refused.

Shaka's face looked increasingly anxious. "But, Mister"

"Alright, come on, go!" take me while walking ahead of Shaka.

The bullet rain hunted the car Shaka drove in the middle of our journey to the meeting place.

"Shaka, what's going on? Who're they?"

The same question I kept asking since the first bullet went through my windshield.

"Sorry, sir, this is all my fault." Shaka is accelerating the car.

At a crossroads, Shaka stopped the car and asked me to get out.

"You're out too!" my word.

"No, sir, they'll definitely keep coming after us." Shaka tightened his grip on the steering wheel of the car.

I'm pissed off. "Then, come on, let's face them together!"

"No, Master! If something happens to you, what should I tell my lady?" disprove Shaka.

"Nothing will happen to me! You know nothing can beat me." I straightened my body to boast.

Shaka let out his breath. "All right, I'll come out. And if something happens to you, then I will marry the mistress happily."

"YOU!!! How dare you think that." My hard drive is full of emotions.

"That's why I'm asking you out, sir, because there are a lot of people who need you. But if anything happens to me. There won't be a single person who feels lost." Shaka's great-grandson.

"Stop! All right, I'm going out. I'll call the bodyguard and you'll have to promise not to face the brandals alone. Wait until help arrives!" I was determined before I got out of the car.

Damn it, my phone just died in a precarious state like this. But God is good. Turns out daddy put some trained bodyguards around me. They appeared shortly after Shaka's departure.

I quickly caught up with Shaka and saw him fighting surrounded by the brandals.

"Geez!!!" I shouted while hitting one of the brandals who tried to block my way. "Stupid! Why are you fighting them yourself?" my sift.

"Sorry, sir," said Shaka flatly.

"Easy! Come on, let's finish them off!" seruku, in tandem with the inevitable fistfight.

At first, me and the daddy guards and Shaka managed to defeat the brandals, but one of the brandals acted recklessly to approach me with a big stick in his hand.

BUGS ...

"SHIMAKA!!!"

The blow hit Shaka's head, which was swiftly protecting me. Fresh blood flowed through his head, but he smiled as if he had just won a medal for me.

Shaka's body staggered. I grabbed her body and leaned her against the wall. Emotionally, I beat up the brandal that hit Shaka. I didn't see that anyone was aiming at me.

DOR ...

The sound of bullets darting along with the collapse of Shaka's body on my back.

"Shaka?"

There's no answer. I pulled Shaka's hand and saw that he was already helpless. There's a bullet through his head.

"No, Shaka! Nah! Open your eyes!" I shouted, but Shaka kept his eyes closed.

My hands clenched firmly and then stared intently at the brandals in front of me. There are only two brands left. Only those who are still conscious.

"SAY!!! WHO SHOT HIM!!!"

The two brandals were resting at my feet. "Sorry, sir, but we're not the culprit."

"SAVE THEM!" I'm telling the daddy guards.

Not yet perfect my orders are done, the two brandals have fled and directly pursued by the bodyguard daddy. I chose to stay with Shaka.

"Shaka, wakeup! You're a fool for saving my life." I slapped Shaka in the face, but he still didn't budge. "SHIMAKA!!!"

"Master ...," shaka shirked weakly. "Te-Thank you .. for giving me a new life and sorry for me .. hurt you by loving .. mistress ...."

"Close your mouth! Ask me for mercy after you've fought death!" my sergeant.

As much as I could I held back my tears that wanted to explode because the bodyguards who were chasing the two brandals had returned.

"I'm sorry, sir, they threw themselves into the river." The guard lowered his head.

"Shit !!! Catch two brandals only you can't!" my growl. "They should have paid for what they had done to Shaka!" my cynic.

"They'll pay for it, sir, I've shot them in the foot and in the hand. I make sure they can never reach land." said the bodyguard with a grin on his face.

"Good job! Now help me get Shaka to the hospital! He's got to live no matter what."

The bodyguards raised Shaka's body to take him to the car, but suddenly there was a crowd blocking our way. I can't wait, while Shaka's face paled. Fresh blood continued to flow from his head.

Without a second thought, I immediately carried Shaka on my back and took him to the hospital until my shirt was filled with his blood. I don't care about the gazes of everyone who is surprised by my circumstances. All that matters to me right now is the safety of my friend. Shakas.

"Please hold on, Shaka ...."
