FRIED RICE

I don't know how long I've been waiting for Daffin to make food, but I'm sure my eyes have been very sticky and reluctant to open. Unconsciously I fell asleep at the dinner table.

"Hey, wake up!" shouted Daffin, right in my ear facing upwards because of the tilted position of my head.

Suddenly I opened my eyes wide and saw him sitting in front of me with a flat face without feeling guilty.

"You want to kill me?" I squinted my eyes at him. "Baby had almost a heart attack" I murmured while rubbing my chest and stomach.

"I can't kill you unless you want me to." Daffin said, his hands folded in front of his chest.

'Is that what he said?' my thinking. "Yes, just kill me! It's better than me to be in a golden cage like this."

I really want to get out of this world. I don't even know what purpose I'm still alive to this day. The beautiful and perfect life that had always been my dream since childhood, I could only feel for a moment. Erlan's departure destroyed all my dreams and hopes. The only reason I still survive is the baby in my stomach which is the most precious relic of Erlan's sister.

"Gold cage?" Suddenly the sound of Daffin surprised me who was drifting in my past daydreams.

"Yes. Your house is like a golden cage that holds me." I sat without seeing Daffin's face, I didn't know if he was angry or not. I don't give a shit.

A few moments of silence were created until the sound of Daffin snorting was upset. "Before you said my house was a bucket, and now you say my house is a golden cage. I know the bird came from a bird's egg not from a starfish."

"WHAT!!!" The corner of my lips twitched, resisting the stifled explosion. I wanted to curse Daffin until he realized who I really was.

It seemed as if Daffin realized my emotions were already unbearable, he got up and went back to the kitchen then placed a plate of seafood fried rice in front of me. My saliva would almost drip if I didn't remember who made the fried rice.

"This?" I pointed at the plate in front of me. Daffin even decorated the fried rice very beautifully, making me not have the heart to eat it.

Daffin looked at me confused. "That's seafood fried rice."

"I knew. I'm not blind." ketusku, then look carefully at the plate that looks beautiful.

"Then? Why not eat? You don't have the heart to eat your friends" asked Daffin, holding a spoon in his hand and pointing at the seafood on my plate.

'What friends? They're your friends.'my inner being is upset. "No. I like all the seafood, except one"

"What's that?" sidelines Daffin with sparkling eyes.

I have to admit, Daffin-made fried rice is delicious. And strangely I did not nausea even though I had finished almost three dishes of seafood fried rice made.

"spend!" daffin ordered when I started leaning my body on the chair because it was too full.

I shook my head as I felt I could no longer put the remaining fried rice into my stomach. I thought maybe Daffin would throw the rest of the fried rice away, or give it to the cat. Turns out he did things I never imagined before. Daffin finished off the remaining fried rice on the plate, he even used the spoon I used before. I was so shocked that I couldn't hide my surprise in front of Daffin.

"Shut your mouth!" tell Daffin, his hands clenched my lips gently.

'Lord, am I in heaven or in hell?'

For the first time I saw warmth in Daffin's eyes and that was for me. There was no more anger or hatred he used to show every time we looked at each other. Daffin's face drew closer and eroded the distance between the two of us.

"Daff?" The voice of someone made us both look in the same direction. There, Reena's sister was standing with a facial expression that I find difficult to understand.

"Re?" Daffin immediately left me and turned towards Reena's sister who was still standing in her place.

I saw Reena's sister stepping with a stagger, her body tilted to the left and to the right. His hands clung to the back of the sofa. Her appearance looks a little messy, but still beautiful and elegant.

"Is Reena's sister drunk?" I muttered, still watching Reena's sister.

Just as Reena's sister was about to fall, Daffin immediately restrained her body and immediately held Reena's sister. I saw Reena's sister immediately asleep in Daffin's arms. At that moment I realized that my presence was never meaningful. Good for Daffin or this house.

"Rania, have you found my clothes?" Early in the morning I had kept Rania busy looking for my clothes.

Rania came to me immediately. "I'm sorry, young lady, I haven't found it yet. Why don't you just wear the clothes Mr. Daffin bought you?"

"I want to wear my own clothes. Don't tell me that Plankton has thrown away my clothes too." I picked up, then ran straight out of the room.

"Young lady? Young mistress?" Rania ran in the back while continuing to call me who chose to ignore her.

I stopped in front of a door that was still tightly closed. My mind changed a little, it seems like I came here wrong. I better not be looking for trouble this early with a tyrannical man like Daffin. I twisted my body and intended to return to my own room. However, I'm late.

"What is the current that brought you here?" Daffin's voice stopped me for a moment, but I immediately stepped back because I didn't want to deal with him.

I was surprised because Daffin suddenly pulled the back end of the towel I was wearing. 'God!!! I forgot if I was still wearing a towel.'

With one move I tightened the towel I was wearing by hugging my own body then turned to face Daffin who was smiling evilly.

"Can I interpret this as a wife's temptation or service?" Daffin's eyes scanned my body from top to bottom.

Luckily I used a kimono towel that covered my body perfectly. However, my hair was unraveling in a mess and still dripping with water because I just washed my hair this morning.

"I'm not teasing you!" I shouted, trying to reduce the embarrassment of my own carelessness.

"Oh, really? Then, why are you here and looking like this?" Daffin raised his index finger in front of me.

"I. I want to make a calculation with you, Plankton."

Daffin frowned. It seemed like he was still guessing which way I was talking, but he quickly pulled my hand to get inside the master bedroom. The room he used to live in with Reena's sister.

'No!!! No. No. I shouldn't be here. I don't want to betray Reena's sister.'
