The heart words that Daffin spoke made me feel loved. I am happy, happy because the man who is with me now not only loves me, but also thinks of my kindness.

"Nobody is more important than you and our son, Mrs Stevano, but I also can't ignore your safety and happiness just because of my love for you."

Highlight those loving eyes, I used to only be able to see from a distance because I thought they belonged to his first wife. And it will never be mine.

Silence filled the atmosphere of Daffin's office that afternoon because both Daffin and Shaka, both silent and just busy struggling with some files piled on the table.

In my delusion, Daffin should have ignored his work because of me, but what happened was that he ignored me because of his work.

"All that?" daffin asked, to Shaka who was in front of him.

Shaka's hand was flipping through a file that was on the table. "Already, Master,"

"Good! Go, it's time for me to be a standby husband." said Daffin, he was already standing to get to me.

My smile grew when I found out that Daffin was no longer busy. He will focus his attention on me. That way, I can ask her anything as long as I don't get caught up with her mind and word games.

"Now is the time for me?" tanyaku.

Oh my God, what is wrong with me? Why do I feel comfortable being near Daffin? I always wanted to get his attention, too. Though all this time, I have never even done anything to attract the attention of Erlan's brother because without it Erlan's brother has made me the center of his life.

"Sure, Mrs Stevano! All my time is yours now." replied Daffin, after one kiss of my forehead.

The corner of my lips itches wanting to pull a smile back, but I stop doing it when my eyes catch the figure of Shaka walking staggered.

"What's wrong with you, Shaka?" much worry.

It's not for no reason I'm worried about Shaka. I'm just afraid if something happens to Shaka and it will have an impact on Daffin. It's no secret that Shaka is Daffin's most trusted man. You could say half of Daffin's life was in his hands.

"It's okay, ma'am, I'm just cramping." Shaka straightened his body, he tried to walk properly.

When I met him in front of the room earlier, I did not notice Shaka's footsteps. And when I walked into Daffin's study, Shaka was behind me so I didn't realize there was anything wrong with his leg.

Highlight my eyes stared intently at Shaka who reached the door. "Stop, Shaka! Back here!"

Shaka looked over with a frown. "Yes, Madam?"

"Back here! I want to talk to you." My hands waved, asking Shaka to come closer.

Suddenly I felt Daffin's hand touch my shoulder. "What do you want to talk to Shaka about? As I recall, you had nothing to do except that when we were just married."

It's true! After my relationship with Daffin improved, I never again dealt with Shaka. Unlike when Daffin had just married me, everything that happened to me always involved Shaka.

I'm pissed off. "I just want to talk to him, Daffin."

"I'm here, Madam," said Shaka, he was in front of me.

Seeing Shaka grimace, I'm sure his feet aren't okay. Especially when I asked him to continue standing without taking my eyes off her. My brain is spinning, how do I know the truth about Shaka's legs? I had to make sure that Shaka was just cramping or that Daffin had just punished him.

"Shaka, tell me! What's wrong with your leg?" tanyaku.

Shaka lowered his head. "As I said, ma'am, it's just a cramp."

A lie! I know Shaka exercises regularly, just like Daffin. She also always eats healthy food and also keeps her nutritional intake because she should not get sick, Rania said it and I'm sure Rania wasn't lying.

"Yes, Madam," Shaka replied confidently.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you asking like that? You care about her, Mrs Stevano?" daffin asked suddenly, making me remember that he was by my side.

I put on a smile as sweet as possible on my lips. "I'm just worried about him as a boss, Daffin! I don't want your job to be interrupted if something happens to Shaka."

Daffin squinted his eyes as he looked at me, it seemed like he didn't trust me just like that.

"You suspect me?" ask, hit the target.

My eyes are perfectly round. Surprised that Daffin could guess exactly what was on my mind. He didn't even mince words first.

"Well! Nah! Nah! I-I just ...," Just what? Come on, think, Ayasya! Shit, my brain's dead end.

Daffin snorted then looked at Shaka before smiling wryly. "Just tell him what happened, Shaka! Mrs Stevano won't be silent before her curiosity is fulfilled."

My eyeballs moved alternately staring at Shaka as well as Daffin. Don't know what to say because both of them are silent while their faces are unreadable to me.

"Shaka?" call me, when Shaka stays silent.

Shaka raised his gaze, there was something in his eyes that had shocked me. But I immediately dismissed that.

"Nobody wants to tell me anything?" I asked, tired of just watching the silence of these two men.

"I kicked his leg!" chirps Daffin, forcing me to look at him.

My eyes were wide open with my mouth wide open. I was really surprised, but not because of Daffin's words. I was shocked because Daffin said that casually without feeling the slightest guilt.

Lips throbbing. "Then are you proud to have done it?"

An upset passes from Daffin's mouth, before he stands up and confronts Shaka.

"I'm sorry I did." Daffin pats Shaka on the shoulder. "Did I hurt you, Shaka?" tanya sarcastic.

It was clear before his eyes that Shaka was trudging. It meant that he hurt Shaka so much that the stiff man grimaced in pain.

"No, sir," replied Shaka.

The corner of my eye glanced at the interaction of the two men. I knew that they were just playing a show in front of me to cover up the real issue.

I immediately stood with my hands clenched as I stared at Daffin. "Maybe you think you can fool me because I'm stupid, but if you think I'm that stupid, then that means you're more stupid than I am, Daffin!"

Daffin's forehead wrinkled. Either he was digesting my words or was confused by the words I used, but from the way he looked at me I knew that Daffin did not like this attitude of mine.

"You're getting smarter, Mrs Stevano!" Daffin clapped his hands breaking the silence. "It would seem more dangerous if I hid something this big from you" he said.

My forehead winches. "you mean? What else are you hiding from me this time?"

Daffin grinned with his jaw stiffened. "Congratulations! Your charm has successfully melted the iceberg in his heart!"
