For the first time, I saw shame on Daffin's face. He even looks wrong in front of Shaka when previously he and Reena often kissed like that in front of Shaka or the guards and servants in his house.

"Alright, Shaka! Even if you're right, he'll still blame you." I'm sure, with a face that brings a nosy smile to Shaka who's starting to look restless.

With a careless step I entered the house and darted to enter my bedroom. However, at the end of the stairs I cross paths with Maya who is going to head downstairs.

"As you can see!" my cynicism as I step past Maya.

Just a few steps I walked, I suddenly remembered my decision to immediately resolve my problems with Maya as well as the Kafel family.

I turned around and saw Maya was just about to climb the stairs. "May?"

"Yes ..," Maya replied, she turned her head and looked quite surprised when I called out to her. "Do you need anything, honey?" tanyanya.

"What explanation, honey?" ask Maya to be confused.

The cool and quiet atmosphere became my friend when spending time soaking in the bathup.

Before I listened to what Maya was going to say, I decided to clear myself first as well as to calm my mind so that I could better digest Maya's words. And let's hope nature supports all my decisions this time.

"Mrs Stevano! Did you faint? It's been almost an hour you've been in there." exclaimed Daffin, probably the hundredth time he knocked on the door.

I clucked in annoyance before answering Daffin. "God! Do I have to pay for the electricity and water I've spent to keep you quiet?"

Silent. There's not a single sound out there. Is Daffin gone?

"Daffin?" call me.

There's no answer.

"Daffin?"

There is no answer except silence.

"Daffin!!!"

The sound of a lock was played before the door opened and revealed the figure of Daffin who filled the doorway with his cold face.

My eyes immediately widened as I followed Daffin's gaze on my open chest. Immediately I immerse my body into the bathup until it leaves only my head that is not covered with foam.

"What are you doing?" ask me when Daffin closes the door again.

"Close the door." replied Daffin casually.

Daffin's big move brought him closer to me and made me start to feel cornered.

"Because you called me." replied Daffin by raising his eyebrows.

"Yes, but I .. no! I mean, I call you because you're always bothering me." my dear.

Daffin suddenly laughed, but his laughter sounded scary to me. "That's because I'm worried about you, Mrs Stevano."

"I'm fine! You can leave now." I'm afraid, the more panic that Daffin is sitting on the edge of the bath.

"I'll go after making sure myself." Daffin started dipping his hands in the water and making me flinch.

"Daffin!" I shouted, surprised that Daffin suddenly splashed water on my face.

"I'll help you clean up to finish faster because Maya's waiting for you" Daffin said, but I wasn't sure when I saw the look in her eyes.

"Well, I'll be done soon! You don't have to help me." hardikku, just when Daffin will land his lips back on my lips.

Daffin chuckled and immediately stood up. "You taught me the meaning of patience, Mrs Stevano."

After that horrible drama in the bathroom. I rushed out of the room to meet Maya who was waiting for me as Daffin said. However, when I went down the stairs, I did not see Maya anywhere.

I searched for her long enough, but I never found Maya. After tired of searching, I chose to lay my body on the long sofa in the living room and wait for someone to look for me.

"Mrs ..," A voice that made me open my eyes.

It turned out that Shaka was already standing beside the sofa with that stiff and flat face.

"What's up, Shaka?" I sat down while sitting my body. "Where are Daffin and Maya?" ask again.

"Lord and great mistress are waiting for you in the study, sir, Madam." Shaka bowed respectfully.

"Oh, okay. Come on!" seruku, then walk ahead of Shaka.

When I got to the door, it was not closed so I could steal what Maya and Daffin were talking about.

"They're very cunning, Daffin! I didn't expect anything like this to happen." Maya said, I couldn't see her face because of Maya's position on the back of the door.

"Calm down, Maya! I told you, we shouldn't have to tell them the truth about Lily because it would put her life at risk." said Daffin, he was seen leaning his body on his chair.

"I just thought that my husband would be so happy when he found out his daughter was alive. I didn't expect him to transfer all his shares to Reena, including my parents' stock." Maya said, her voice almost lost to her crying.

I'm really surprised by this fact. Turns out, my real father never wanted me. The proof was that he immediately handed over all his property to his illegitimate daughter when he found out that I was still alive.

"Mistress?" Shaka touched my shoulder which drew me back to the real world.

"Ah, yes, Shaka. I'm going in now." I said, pushing the door and joining Maya and Daffin.

"My dear? Sit down!" maya exclaimed, she patted the empty spot beside her.

I could see Maya and Daffin looking at each other for a moment before I landed my ass where Maya meant.

"Tell me!" I said without further ado.

"Say what, honey?" maya asked, she threw a puzzled look towards Daffin.

"No need to squint! I've heard the conversation you two had before I came in." I'm afraid, don't want to waste time.

Simultaneously, Daffin and Maya sighed deeply. I could feel Maya's warm hand in my hand.

"I'm sorry, honey, but I didn't expect this to happen" Maya said weakly, guilt so clear in her eyes.

"Don't be weak at a time like this! Your enemy will easily knock you down if you keep your head down." I'm afraid.

"You're right, honey, but Reena and her mother are one step ahead of us" Maya said.

"If they step, then we'll jump."
