REAL HOUSE

Anger is always likened to a fire that will devour everything. Just like what is happening to my heart right now. My anger at Maya, at fate, at the life I lived, and also at Daffin who had deceived me so many times made me want to end everything. If time can be turned back, want me to go back to a time where I only know that I am an orphan who lives happily even without the presence of parents.

"Key?" call Ersya, her hand touches my shoulder.

I looked up and saw Ersya who was looking at me worriedly. "Yes, Brother,"

"You okay? If you're not sure, I suggest you rethink your decision. Before you regret it." said Ersya, I felt the grip of Ersya's hand on my shoulder.

"No, Brother! I'm sure already. There's no more reason to defend all this." I'm afraid.

"I'm sorry, Ayasya, but don't you want revenge for what Mr. Stevano did to you?" ersya asked, implied so many questions in her eyes.

A bitter smile fell on the corner of my lips. "I don't want to pay anything back! Because the more I want revenge, the more I get caught up in the trap."

Ersya exhaled violently before saying, "alright, but remember! You're not alone. There's still me who will always support you."

"Thank you and .. goodbye, Brother Ersya!" I extended my hand to Ersya.

Ersya's eye beads focused on looking at my outstretched hand without intending to reply. "What does this mean?" asked Ersya confused.

"I'm going back to my old life as an orphanage resident, sister, living as an orphan is much more fun and soothing for me." I always, after a drop of tears that fell without permission.

"What's going on, Ayasya? Did Mr Stevano take your house?" urged Ersya, the look of her face was so filled with fear.

I shook my head. "No, Brother! I gave the house to him. I want to be free from all ties with him. And I need your help to do all that,"

"Are you sure?" ersya asked, her eyes looking at me sharply.

"Very sure! Meeting Daffin was the beginning of the destruction of my life, so I had to leave it for my life to get better." I wipe away my tears that seem to represent the pain that is beating my heart.

Ersya's hand grabbed my hand and then she held it. "I don't know what you've been through all this time, but can't you just stay for me?"

The look in my eyes and Ersya clashed. For a while, I felt like I was staring at Erlan's sister. However, it was like a bubble bursting in the air. My hopes and fantasies evaporated when I realized that Ersya would never be Erlan's sister.

"Sorry, Brother Ersya, I do like you. But you know, it's all because of your face. I can't let you be by my side just as a surrogate." I cupped Ersya's hand which was holding mine.

"Let it be like that! I will be anything as long as I can be by your side." said Ersya, there was a deep disappointment in her words.

I'm beginning to fear that this conversation is getting more and more uncertain which direction will make me lose the only person who can help me.

"All right, Brother! I have to go." I stood up and wrapped my bag.

"Is that? All right," said Ersya, I barely heard what she said. "Be careful! And don't forget to tell me." Ersya handed me her business card.

"Again, thank you very much for all your help and may God bring us together again."

A long enough journey I took to reach the hometown where the orphanage grandmother was located. Actually I can get there faster if I use the plane, but I prefer to use the land route so that it is not easily tracked by Daffin. Anyway, I can't leave Erlan's car. So I decided to take this car back to my hometown too.

Normally, if I drive with Erlan's brother it won't take this long. However, because I am a woman and also with my driving skills are still amateur then this trip spent twice as much time as usual.

"Ah, I'm tired" I complained as I straightened my hot waist. I just pulled my car over at one of the rest areas.

My gaze went around as I got out of the car and looked for a food vendor who could help fill my stomach. And exactly so! I saw the baker walking towards me.

The seller took out a large loaf of bread and a bottle of mineral water to give me.

"Thank you." I took the bread and the mineral water, and handed over the money. "Take the change" I said, then left the baker.

When I was about to enter the car again, I turned my head and saw the baker staring at me.

"Sound! Is the money I gave you not enough to pay for this bread and water?" I muttered while looking at the bread and water I had placed in the passenger seat.

Afraid that I was wrong to give money, I grabbed my bag to take the money. However, by the time I got out of the baker's car it was gone somewhere.

The atmosphere of the countryside began to feel when I entered the borders of my hometown. Yeah, actually Erlan's hometown. But how else? I don't have a hometown, so this is the only place I can call home.

My car started to run slowly because the road I was walking on started to break down. On the right left, I saw rice fields and also some people who were farming.

"I miss grandma, I miss Erlan's sister, I miss my happy childhood." The tears clouded my eyes.

I quickly wiped my tears and tried not to cry anymore because the house I grew up in was visible from a distance.

The yard is wide enough to be my place to park my car. From inside the car, I could see the orphanage children were playing happily.

"Sir Aca!!!" the kids watched me get out of the car.

They all hugged me and scrambled to kiss my hand. This feeling, I haven't felt this kind of warmth in a long time.

From where I was standing, I saw Aunt Ratih just coming out of the house. He walked towards me, but strangely he looked at me with a sharp and angry look.

Suddenly ...

PLAQUE...

The soft hand that used to defend me, landed on my cheek and left a red mark there.

"Aunty?" lirihku while holding my cheek that feels hot.

"Why did you come back here? The Kencana family does not accept people who have killed our descendants." Aunt Ratih looked cynically at my stomach.

I forgot to consider the miscarriage I had. I just want to come back here and forget the fact that Aunt Ratih and Om Rama don't know anything.

"Go you bad woman!" shouted Aunt Ratih, her hands pushing against my body firmly.

My body staggers and almost falls if nothing holds me back. Wait up! Who is holding my body? I stood up and turned around to see who had helped me.

"YOU!!!"
