"What ... do you doubt, young mistress?" rania asked, her gaze still focused on the road.
On the way home after meeting Ersya earlier, my mind seemed to drift. Ersya's answer made me embarrassed and realized my stupidity all along. Daffin is right. I'm a fool who's easy to fool.
Flashback...
"Will you replace Erlan's brother?"
Ersya focused her eye bead on me. I could see Ersya's hesitation and shock from her eyes.
We stared at each other for a long time until Ersya said, "do you really mean what you just said?"
Breath guiding my lips to speak and continue what I had planned. Although I just got to know Ersya, but I feel like he is a good man and only he can help me for now.
"I know you'd be surprised, but I'm sure of what I said!"
Ersya squinted her eyes. "Tell me the truth!"
This is, this must be because he's a cop. It's hard to hide the truth from him.
"I want to avenge Daffin for what he and his wife have done to me" my voice sounded. "They have to suffer and feel more pain than I feel."
"Can I know what they've really done to you?" ersya asked, her hand holding mine.
Although heavy, I finally tried to tell Ersya everything. Starting from the departure of Erlan's sister to the departure of my twin babies. Ersya's face was fickle as long as I told her about the pain I had been through all this time.
"I was expecting it" Ersya said, embracing my shoulder to get closer to him.
I can't hold back my tears. My cry was so heartbreaking that it made my body tremble because of the emotions I had been suppressing I was finally able to let out.
For a while, I forgot the presence of Rania who was standing beside me without speaking.
"I'm sorry!" I wiped my tears and asked Rania for a handkerchief to dry my wet eyes.
"There is no need to apologize" Ersya argued. "That's what you're supposed to do in the first place."
"Yes, you're right."
Ersya looked at me for a moment before she asked me something that made me feel stupid. "Have you confirmed your marriage to civil records? Maybe you'll find the answer there, if you're really sure you've never done any marriage other than mending her husband."
"Can it be like that?" My forehead was wrinkled to understand Ersya's words.
"Could certainly! You simply show your marriage book to the clerk and they will confirm the truth about the marriage." said Ersya, the look in her eyes gave me a hint of hope.
"Marriage book?" I muttered, but it could be heard by Ersya who was immediately answered nodding her head.
Damnit damnit! I don't even know where the fake wedding book is. When Daffin threw it at me in the hospital, I threw the book because I was so angry and surprised by everything that happened.
"The book is what Daffin is,"
"What's? You didn't keep it?" asked Ersya again, this time her eyes shone in anger at me.
"No, Brother! I was so angry that day." I argued, not accepting such a view from Ersya.
"Then get the book! We must ensure the truth of your marriage first, then you can repay their actions." said Ersya with a flat face without expression. "I can't replace Erlan, be it in your heart or just in your life."
Flashback...
"I have no doubt, Rania! I was just thinking about how I could get that little book out of Daffin's hands." I was upset.
Ersya's refusal frustrated me and lost my mind. The best way to get away from Daffin is to keep Ersya by my side.

Arriving home, I intend to persuade Daffin in another way. I hope he doesn't suspect anything and will give me the fake marriage book.
"Rania, please order some food from a five-star restaurant not far from here!" I took out a black card that Daffin had given me before.
This is the first time I used the card. I wouldn't spend a dime on Daffin. Let him spend the money for himself.
Rania's hand was stretched out to receive the card, but her eyes did not even blink. "This card?"
"Why? Can't the card be used? Ah, fucking Daffin! I shouldn't have believed him." I was annoyed, because I felt deceived many times by Daffin.
"No, young lady, don't you!" Rania held my hand which would pull the card back from her hand. "Just ...."
I raise my eyebrows. "Just?"
"No, young lady," elak Rania. However, I'm sure there's something he's hiding from me.
"Say, Rania! Is the card useless? The plankton said I could buy anything I wanted."
"Right, young lady, but master will"
I interrupted Rania's words. "He won't be angry."
"Alright, young lady, as you wish."

In an instant, the sumptuous dishes I ordered were already served on the dining table. His delicacy aroused my taste and almost made me drool.
"Where, Daffin? Isn't he going to go back to this house?" I asked Rania who was arranging the dining table, while I only watched her from earlier.
"Master is on his way, young mistress," Rania replied with a faint smile.
"Good!"
At least, it is not in vain that I spend time beautifying myself. Tonight, I'm going to play my role as Daffin's second wife. I'll make her spend the night with me and forget about Reena. Evil indeed, but that's my goal. Keep them away and make them understand what loss means.
"Mrs young?" Rania's call roused me from my evil daydream.
"Huh? Yes, Rania?" I acted as if I wasn't thinking about something.
"Everything is ready" said Rania, pointing to the dining table that was ready to support my actions. "Why don't you cook it yourself, young lady? I'm sure you'd like it better."
I chuckled at Rania's question. "I'm not very good at cooking, Rania. Again forget, I don't want to dirty my beautiful hands just to please a tyrannical man like Daffin."
My answer instantly made Rania's face change. Even though she said she would be loyal to me, but I knew in her heart Rania still felt indebted to Daffin.
"Rania -"
I was just about to say something to Rania, but I couldn't because Daffin had entered the house.
My breath hunts. This is the first time I will treat my enemies so differently. Even if it's hard, I'll keep doing it. I set my breath and tried to put on the sweetest smile I had.
"Key?" Daffin frowned when faced with me who was waiting for him at the dinner table.
"Welcome, my husband."
