"Be careful, Doctor! You hurt her!" snapped Daffin at the doctor who was treating my wound.
The sound of breath from the beautiful doctor I could hear clearly. He could only listen to Daffin's rant from earlier without being able to fight back. Yeah, actually it was also my fault because I kept crying. Not because of the pain caused by the broken glass in my leg, but more because of my disappointment with Daffin. He'd rather defend Maya than me. Huh! What is on my mind, God?
"Look! My wife kept crying. Can you do it?" Daffin wiped away the water that kept flowing from my eyes.
"I'm sorry, sir, but I think Mrs Stevano is crying for something else" replied the beautiful doctor, tidying up her bag.
Daffin looked at me with a frown. "What does the doctor really say?"
Huh! I was anxious to curse at Daffin who had no sensitivity to my mood, but seeing his face only made my mouth more tightly locked.
Silently, I closed my eyes and looked for a comfortable position to lie down in because I was just leaning on the bed.
"Say something, please!" persuade Daffin, I can feel his hand touching my shoulder.
Not wanting to make contact with him, I shifted my body to let Daffin's hand slip off my shoulder.
"I know you're angry, but don't punish me like this! You know I love you and"
Daffin's words hung along with my hand taking a pillow to cover my ears.
"Ayasya, eat this! Since morning you haven't eaten anything." Maya's soft voice that just came made me even more annoyed.
"Go! I don't need your attention." I ketus, without even seeing what Maya brings.
"What's wrong with you? Maya's been trying to be nice to you, but you still don't respect her." Daffin's full of emotion.
Getting such a reaction made my anger rise again and burn even more when I saw Maya's face masked by the angel.
"Did I ask him to be nice to me? Did I beg you to bring me here? And did you just take me to keep hurting me like this?" A bitter smile with a sharp look I threw at Daffin and Maya as well.
"You misunderstood, Ayasya!" disprove Maya.
"I'm never wrong! Both then and now." My hard drive was full of disappointment.
"Can you tell me what you really want? Don't confuse me with this attitude of yours!" lamented Daffin, he massaged his forehead.
I'm pissed off. "I told you! I want a divorce from you!!!"
"Geez!!!" Those blue eyes were looking at me sharply.
"Daffin ... Ayasya is pregnant with your child. Maybe his mood is not good at the moment" said Maya softly, he rubbed Daffin's back.
I could see how hard Daffin tried to temper his anger. So, I also try to remain silent and not make things worse.
"Rest! I have to go to the office." Daffin put his lips on my forehead.
When the shadow of Daffin disappeared behind the door, something whizzing slipped into my heart and mocked me. All of a sudden, I miss that shitty Plankton.
***
It's been over a month that I've been living under one roof with Daffin. It's not for the first time, but the difference now is that I'm Daffin's only legal wife.
During this one month, everything goes pretty much the same every day. I was upset to see Daffin's face, but always cried if he wasn't seen by my eyes. And Maya, she's staying in this house because I don't want to let my humanity freeze just because of her.
"Your breakfast, Ayasya," said Maya as she placed a bowl of chicken porridge on me.
"I don't want to eat!" My hand pushed the bowl away.
"But you have to eat. Otherwise, what's the fate of the baby in your stomach?" Maya smiled warmly.
Sometimes, I don't understand that bad woman. As long as we stayed together, he never showed his evil demeanor before me. And the opposite happened, he was very gentle and patient in facing me.
"My son is quite independent. Just like his mother." I answered.
Maya's right! This pregnancy kept me from recognizing myself, as I became very spoiled for Daffin. The one I obviously hate.
"No!" hardikku, then pull back the bowl of chicken porridge that I pushed earlier.
It's strange! This porridge taste is foreign to my tongue. Not as usual when I ate with Daffin before he went out of town.
"Daffin will be back the day after tomorrow" Maya said.
The spoonful of porridge stopped right in front of my mouth. "The day after?"
"Yes" answered Maya with a nod of her head.
"Why did he tell you, but he didn't tell me?" just pissed.
"Daffin says that you don't want to talk to him" Maya replied calmly, she was not affected in the slightest by my anger.
I snorted in annoyance. "I don't want to talk, so he doesn't. What if I don't want to live? Is he going to take my life?"
The clink of the spoon clashing against the plate made me turn my head and look at Maya who was looking at me with a strange look.
"Sorry," Maya said, then picked up the dropped spoon and walked into the kitchen.
"What's wrong with her?"
***
After finishing breakfast, I did not see Maya who had gone to the kitchen. To be honest I was a little worried about her, but I couldn't get rid of my hatred for her yet.
Instead of me constantly thinking about the people who pissed me off, I better take a walk in the park to get some fresh air.
When I arrived at the park, I saw a man standing with his shoulders leaning against the wall. Looking back, it seemed that he was neither the gardener nor the bodyguard in this house. But if he was a stranger, the servants wouldn't let him in let alone look so fond of him.
"Mrs ...," A servant bowed when he realized my presence.
The man turned his head and looked towards me then nodded his head politely.
"Who is that guy?" I asked a waiter who approached me.
"The master is a friend of Mr. Shaka, Madam," the maid replied, her face blushing as she looked at the man.
"Shaka's friend? So, what's he here for?" my murmur.
I don't know what really happened to me, but now I'm getting more angry with anyone.
"Good morning, Mrs Stevano, my name is Davin." The man extended his hand to me.
"Da - Daffin?" I repeated his name in stature.
"Davin, Madam," repeated the man, his face so smooth and shining. I was embarrassed to look at him.
"Daffin?" I repeated again, but this time I could barely help but laugh.
"Davin, Madam, D-A-V-I-N" she said, perhaps upset that I always mispronounced her name.
"Alright, Davin! Are you an ally of Plankton? Or are you really amoeba?" search me, with squeaking eyes.
"Plankton? Amoeba???"
