“Thank you very much, Uncle.” Mantingan got up and got into the horse carriage.
The owner of the horse carriage was very friendly after the Mantingan went inside, even he invited him to sit in front of the place which was much more soft and got a good view. However, Mantingan rejected it politely and sat in the back, it should be the owner of the train that gets the most comfortable part. He is here just a ride. In this chariot there were only two people; Mantingan and the uncle of the owner of the chariot, one coachman was in the outside room.
The carriage swayed slowly as the horse began to move its legs. Initially it was slow, but the goals increased rapidly until the shock increased as well. The uncle of the horse carriage owner was not visibly bothered by this, in contrast to the unfamiliar Mantingan.
“Uncle, once again I thank you for the ride.” Mantingan felt lying to the middle-aged man who considered him a noble, he would feel more guilty if he did not thank him many times.
“I who actually thanked Mr. Government who had been willing to enter into this outdated train. I make sure this train will be treated carefully because Mr. Government once sat here.” The middle-aged man said while looking down respectfully, the look in his eyes also did not dare to directly sit with Mantingan's eyes.
Mantingan could only smile and switch the conversation, “If only I could know, who is Uncle and where would Uncle go?”
“Oh .. how lucky this old man has been noticed by Mr. Government. My ugly name is Ranggapitu, people call me Uncle Rangga, sir. I went to Sundapura to trade there. Does Mr Government want to go there too?”
“I don't plan to go directly to the capital, Uncle Rangga. Will Uncle be able to drop me off at the intersection near Sagandu Earth? People used to call it Cipari.”
“Until Earth Sagandu will deliver!”
Smiling coat. “Thank you, Uncle Rangga. But just get there.”
After that, the mantelan chose silence. Conversations that are too much and too deep will not benefit him, it can even harm him. Mantingan enjoyed the journey he had never felt before. From the curtains and wooden bars of the windows, there were many green trees. Seeing that Mantingan so unthinkable, how long and how tiring would it be if he had to walk?
It didn't take long, they could already see the intersection. The carriage turned right based on the direction from Uncle Rangga. The parobaya person will actually take him to Earth Sagandu.
The horse carriage started to shake violently. The streets are filled with rocks when the road they pass is not to go to Kotaraja. The lack of maintenance, and the lack of trade traffic made the streets uneven. Even from the looks of it, long grasses began to cover part of the road.
The head of the Mantingan was knocked against the wall several times, as was the old head of Uncle Rangga.
“Pelan-pelan course, Nice.” Uncle Rangga exclaimed at his coachman in the front room.
“This is the lowest speed, Uncle! The streets are utterly broken beyond measure. I've never been through these broken streets in a horse-drawn carriage. It's more than just a broken road!”
Uncle Rangga was seen looking at the tone of his coachman's speech which was a little strange and hasty. The mantelan began to sense that something was wrong.
“Then, turn direction to Sunda!”
“We're late, Uncle, forgive me ...”
Uncle Rangga's face showed some confusion. His face was sweating coldly, his chest rising up and down quickly. But it can be seen that he is trying to calm down.
“Prepare for a Cattle Scavenger Cave!” Uncle Rangga took something under his stool which after being lifted turned out to be a long machete.
Obviously, there's something dangerous. The mantan cannot stand still and hold hands, although he must remain calm in all circumstances.
“What really happened, Uncle Rangga?”
“Oh ... Mr. Government, our fate is very poor.” Uncle Rangga wailed with regret. “There is only one thing that makes my coachman talk like this. There are people following us, I suspect that this is a robbery, Mr. Government.”
“Mr Government must arm myself, I still keep one more machete. I'll get you.”
The mantingan held back Uncle Rangga's movements. “I'm not allowed to take up arms, Uncle Rangga.”
Uncle Rangga's forehead is wrinkled. “Can't this one time, sir? The middle of the crisis ...."
“Sorry ...” The mantle shook slowly full of regret.
Even from the bottom of his heart, he actually wanted to avoid the battle. Lifting a weapon to kill was not his pleasure. Somewhat afraid also a Mantingan had been besieged in danger on his first day of searching for Kembangmas.
“Alright, Mr. Government. Daku will protect Master if indeed Master cannot hold a weapon.” Uncle Rangga said firmly.
Mantingan then nodded and took the time to thank him. He also hopes things will be okay. This horse-drawn carriage was not filled with merchandise, perhaps the thieves changed their minds to free them.
“I know this region very well, Mr. Government. We will definitely survive.” Uncle Rangga then said to his coachman, “stay on this road, Good!”
But long time no answer heard. Uncle Rangga called again. “Good, did you hear my voice?!”
There's still no reply. Mantingan could see that Uncle Rangga who had an increasingly unkind look on his face, the middle-aged man had been drenched in cold sweat. Hurriedly he opened the window, his head stretched out while the horse was still walking at high speed.
“Oh, jeez. Nice boy! What happened to you, good. Why is this unfortunate of your fate. O. .. It's all my fault. Salahku ...” Uncle Rangga wailed like someone was crying, I don't know what he was seeing.
“What happened, Uncle Rangga?!” said Shake Mantingan.
“Nak Good, Mr Government, my coachman Good! My coachman is dead, Mr. Government .. My coachman is dead ...”
Bagus—kusir horse Uncle Rangga it—mati. But what made him die? The mantle opened the window on the left and looked forward as well. How surprised he was after finding the coachman had been stuck with an arrow in his chest, blood seeping and dyeing his clothes red. The mantle quickly put his head back inside with an incredulous buying eye. He had never seen such a heinous murder for him. While Uncle Rangga still continue to mourn the death of the coachman.
The mantan knows that the horse cannot be removed like this. In some circumstances, horses that are out of control can actually result in death. So recklessly, Mantingan stuck his body out the window. To take control.
But then, his ears were constricted by the impact sound followed by a humming sound. The arrow was stuck in the body of the horse carriage, right next to his ear. One snore from his head. The coat pulls itself into the horse carriage with its eyes more wide open. How death had just passed before his eyes.
“This cannot be allowed, those savages must die!” Uncle Rangga screeched furiously.
Uncle Rangga seemed to forget the existence of Mantingan in the horse carriage, he opened the door and jumped out. His body rolled on the ground. The mantle was in a state of turmoil and did not know how to finally jump at the same door.
The landing is not as smooth as the landing of Uncle Rangga. His body was thumping on the ground, rolling to the edge of the road that was many large stones. Uncle Rangga who was far behind him had risen to his feet with a sharpened cleaver, twisting in all directions.
