The Musafir

The Musafir
Residence Demolished

PREVIOUS EPISODE

FROM the conversation of the citizens, Mantingan learns that the kingdom intends to erase all traces of the Hero Man. Neither his name, nor his story of heroism, must be erased without remainder.

Meanwhile, surprisingly, the Wind Bell Village residents have made a library that specifically contains stories of Hero Man collected from many witnesses.

His home was made a sacred place. There are so many offerings placed in that place, along with all kinds of incense aroma that is very stinging. Either they were praying for the dead or worshipping a god.

Several independent warriors guarded the residence secretly from the hands of bad-tempered warriors.

Reportedly, the royal army will come today also to tear down his residence and destroy the books in the village library that contains about the Hero Man, so now with a tense face the villagers are preparing to take up arms.

Mantingan immediately spoke to one of the villagers whom he saw had enough power. Initially, he only offered grass, until he managed to extract a lot of information about the villagers' plan to prevent the arrival of the royal troops.

Still with his disguise, Mantingan reminded that Hero Man once bet his life to save the lives of the Wind Bell Village residents from destruction, so he would be very disappointed if now they just died in vain just to protect his residence.

At the time he wanted to leave, the person he was talking to called back, “Young man, how did you know about the incident that befell our village at that time? We've all tried to keep it a secret.”

The young man simply smiled and replied, “I entrust this to you, Father, lest there be any unnecessary commotion.”

NOT a single villager shifted from their position even if only for an inch. Everything was silent and fixed, like a loud order issued by the spokesman of the army was not heard at all.

The head of the army whispered softly to the spokesman who then nodded his head.

“So, you want to defy the orders of Sri Maharaja Punawarman? Do you want to be considered a rebel group? If that is the case, our task is to exterminate all of you until you are gone, like an unrooted, unrooted, leafless tree. Every rebel head is obliged to be detached from its place!”

The head of the army held up one hand, and all the soldiers behind him pulled the cages from their waists. Staring nyalang.

However, the threat only affects a few people who quickly move away. The rest remained strong in their place.

“You who chose to stay, be prepared to suffer the consequences!” Now the head of the army was screaming, his hands had been raised to give orders, and the Mantingan was about to flashed to stop the commotion, until suddenly an old man came to the place running.

“Stop, Sir! Stop!”

At once the leader of the army held back the movement of his hand that was just about to be swung down, tantamount to cancelling the attacking order.

“Mr Officers, please hold for a moment your face, let my servant Sahaya speak to them first. Servant is one of the elders in this village, it is certain that all the words of the servant will be considered them. Don't Patih hurry!”

“Cube you time to talk. When that mega-mega covering the sun has been swept out of place, your time is up!”

“Thank you, Officer Sir! Slave promised not to disappoint Mr.”

The village elder then turned to face the crowd of residents who were now looking at him angrily. Surely they consider him a traitor, a royal sycophant, and so on.

“We are not people who do not have adab!” exclaimed the old man without further ado, he knew that there was not much time left. “Do we really want to sacrifice our lives to protect the residence of Hero Man, while the hero has actually bet his life to protect us all? Wouldn't it be that if Hero Man found out about this, he would be greatly disappointed in all of us, the Wind Bell Village resident he loved?”

At that instant, the entire gaze that led to the old man quickly changed. No longer suffer anger. If thought deeply, what the elder said was the truth. Hero Man had dared to risk his life to protect the entire population of Wind Bell Village, why would they have to sacrifice their lives just to protect his residence?

“If the Hero Man were in this place, with all of us, standing among all of us; surely he would be willing to simply have his residence razed to the ground, his stories annihilated, he said, and the name is removed if it can save the lives of all residents of Wind Bell Village,” continued the old man with a face that held the sadness. “Hero Man will sacrifice whatever he has for the sake of virtue, kindness, and peace. Let us not betray him like this.”

Hearing those words, Mantingan felt something she rarely felt creeping into her chest. He never expected to be considered so meaningful by the Wind Bell Village residents.

“Now, we move away. Don't fight one. Show how much we all still have the attitude of a Hero Man, that's what keeps the hero alive even though his name is wiped out and his history is sunk.”

Coinciding with that, suddenly a gust of wind strengthened, immediately making the clouds blur. The sunlight returned to water the Wind Bell Village with all sorts of warmth. The old man's talk time was up, but the short speech was in fact very influential. The entire population that had been floundering did not shift even if only an inch, now gradually moved to make way for the royal forces to the residence of Hero Man.

The royal troops immediately surrounded the residence with a crushing device in each of their hands—replace the leeway. Their number was more than a hundred people, enough to make the building collapse evenly with the ground in just a quarter of tea drinking time.

But before giving the order of destruction, suddenly the head of the army jumped down from his horse. Unexpectedly, he gathered himself before the entrance gate of the Mantingan residence. Both hands were cupped and brought close to the tip of the nose. Just as he was paying respect to the higher-ups of the kingdom.

After a moment of silence, then the leader of the army rose only to find astonished gazes from the crowd of villagers.

“What movement made you look at me like that? Do you think I have become blind, so that all the goodness of Hero Man cannot be seen by myself?” said later. “The rule of the Sri Maharaja remains a decree, but the truth is far more absolute than everything.”

Right after saying that, he ordered his entire army to begin the destruction. However, in fact, all the soldiers who came from the kingdom also respect the Hero Man, so not one bit they include anger when they began to dismantle the wooden board by wooden board, plant by plant, fence by fence, and so on, et cetera. Everything is done with wisdom, so wise when they build a building, and not dismantle it.

Mantingan chose to leave the place immediately with most other villagers who were also unable to see the building torn down to the end. He continued to travel south, tracing the trail of his journey with the North River Angel in the past, because it was no longer possible that the girl was in the Wind Bell Village.

So that Mantingan again left traces of his happiness due to a necessity. Even if he really wanted it, it was very impossible for the young man to stay in the Wind Bell Village considering that the strongest heirloom in the martial universe was still in his hands.

Pula Bidadari Sungai Utara must be found immediately. Otherwise, the girl could have made Javadvipa's relationship with Champa very bad.  Sri Punawarman must have a very big task, which is to convince the ruler of the Champa Country that the disappearance of Princess Pham Lien has no connection with state affairs.

If the east wind is over and the west wind comes, the messenger of Champa will arrive in Javadvipa to question the girl's cause. It was not impossible if this time they arrived with the escort of thousands of troops who were always ready for combat.

Given how bad it would be if it happened, it is not surprising that until now Mantingan has always been overcome with a sense of urgency that is really precarious.

In addition to finding the North River Angel and again ensuring the return of the girl to Champa, he also had to find the Gembangmas in order to resign from the martial world as soon as possible. The matter of the Moon Sword Pair, he can leave it to all the Sky Stakeholders who are there to keep it together. Of course the real Sky Stakeholders only want perfection in martial arts, not power. To them, a Pair of Moon Swords would never look so tantalizing.
