The Musafir

The Musafir
Poor Condition of Mantang

BIDADARI RIVERS Utara slept with Kina, while Mantingan with Cana. The four men were asleep. In the peace.

That morning. After a small breakfast, Bidadari Sungai Utara farewells Kana and Kina. While Mantingan did not let go of the girl, choosing to sit behind the writing desk in his room. There's something he needs to write.

It is about one of the meanings of peace.

That peace does not mean having to have the same form between one form and another.

After making peace, the one party could not ask the other party to be the same as him. Like the time of truth and heresy that cannot be equated with its existence, but often reconcile at predetermined times.

Like oil and water, Mantingan and the Angel of the North River will reject each other. They can't be put together, but that doesn't mean one of them is bad. Oil and water are both needed. If the two make peace, that does not mean oil asks for water to resemble its form. And not the other way around. If you have to separate, then separate.

Truth and error cannot be combined. They must be separated. And they are both needed. Heresy exists so that man can understand what truth is; truth exists so that man can understand what heresy is. How expensive the price of a knowledge, to the extent that there must be a change of civilization between ‘siang and malam’.

STILL ON the same day, Bidadari Sungai Utara again stopped by the Mantingan residence in the afternoon. The gardens made by Mantingan and Kana have also been planted with seedlings. In the evening, they held dinner. And of course, Mantingan and Bidadari Sungai Utara did not say much after the incident. Kana and Kina also seemed to agree not to ask or mention about it.

A few days just pass by. Mantingan's relationship with Kana and Kina grew closer. Likewise with the North River Angel whose proximity to the two children is like his brother and sisters.

But a bad day, an unwanted day of his presence, arrived as well. That was when the medicine from the Northern River Angel was already unable to withstand the devastating effects of the Unnamed Poison. In that cloudy afternoon, there was a loud thud from inside Mantingan's room. Then came the sound of moans that immediately made Kana and Kina panic.

After opening his room, they found Mantingan lying on the floor. The young man was still unconscious, but that was precisely what looked bad. Pain mantle. His face wrinkled, grinning withstanding the intense pain. His two hands pressed against the middle of his chest.

Kina knew what she had to do: summon the Northern River Angel. He quickly ran from inside the room. While Kana tried to help Mantingan by bringing a glass of water.

Not long after, the Angel of the North River came. The girl moved as fast as the windstorm, carrying Kina so that the child would not be left behind. As soon as he saw the situation of Mantingan, the face of the Northern River Angel turned bad.

He approached Mantingan, leaving the young man in a supine state. The mantang still grimaced in pain. However it can see the shadow of the Northern River Angel although vaguely. His heart calmed down a little, knowing that the girl would save him.

The North River Angel took out a box inside its bundle. The mantan did not know the contents of the box, but he could feel some small objects piercing his chest. Could it be a treatment needle? The mantelan did not think.

He could see the North River Angel putting two palms on the chest of Mantingan. Draining the energy in the amount is not a little. The girl asked Kana and Kina to step aside, avoiding the risk of both of them getting injured in case of a deep power explosion.

The mantle bit his lip. He did not want to shout in front of Kina and Kana. Don't let him think something bad happened to him. Or they will be sad again, just like when they lost two parents.

The new mantle was discovered two days later. His condition is not very good. But it will get worse if the North River Angel does not take care of him the last two days.

Even the Hero himself came to help the Northern River Angel in making potions. When Mantingan woke up, the middle-aged woman immediately greeted him warmly. There was only him and Mantingan in the room.

The hero immediately asked her various questions. Mantingan answers all the questions as he can answer. After answering all the questions, Mantingan left Wira alone in the room. Shortly after, Kana and Kina ran into the room. Hugging Mantingan lying on the bed. Then the North River Angel entered in a hasty step, immediately smiling to see Mantingan had awakened. He was the last person to enter that room.

“Kak Maman actually hurt what? Why fainted for so long?” Kina asked.

“Not a bad disease, Kina. There's nothing you need to worry about.” The mantle smiled, stroking the child's head gently. He then glanced at the Northern River Angel who was standing not far from him, smiling a sign of gratitude.

THAT AFTERNOON. Exactly a week after Mantingan finally regained consciousness. Mantingan and the North River Angel stand in the middle of the garden. Through the seeds of flowers that grow into adult flowers. Mantingan had just finished the pond in the middle of the garden, but the pond was still not filled with water and colorful fish.

“If I am not saved, take Kana and Kina to the plains of Champa.” Mantingan said without looking at his interlocutor. “Kutahu, we are not in close contact. In a day, we are not necessarily talking. But from what I see, the relationship between Sister and them is very close. This is my last request.”

“If speech is prayer, should not Brother say it.” The North River angel then shook his head slowly.

“Everything is possible, including the possibility of me dying within the next four months, or even sooner than that. And if that happens .. I hope Sister has mastered a lot of martial arts as capital to return to Champa. Sorry for not being able to keep my promise.”

“We are not bound to that old agreement anymore, Brother.”

The mantan could only grin without approving or refuting the words of the Northern River Angel. “However, can Sister include Kana and Kina on your way to Champa?”

“Sure I can, Brother. That's very easy for me to do. However it seems, they are more comfortable being with you.”

“When I die, they no longer need me. They need you, Sister.”

“I'll heal Brother. That's my promise.”

The mantan sighed softly, looking to disagree with such a promise.
