The Musafir

The Musafir
His Love Can't Be Tapped Again

DARA smiled, but it really wasn't a beautiful smile to look at. With all the grief that was clearly imprinted on his face, that smile seemed to be forced at all. There is no happiness, only sadness.

“I have to keep marrying her. There's no other choice. The mistakes I've made are too big, that's the only way I make up for them. Going will be useless, because he will always find me even in the wormhole. This is not because you, Mantingan, are the only one responsible for this punishment.”

Manten shook his head. Totally disagree. Dara lied in her words.

“Do not lie, Dara. It is clear that you are going to help me break into the palace by marrying the king! I don't want to hear lies from you.”

Dara's cry broke again. More powerful than ever, but tried to be muffled by him by drowning his head into the chest of Mantingan.

“Daku ... I have betrayed you, Mantingan!” said Dara. “I have given all my soul and body to you, for you have breathed my love so that I have nothing left to give it to others even to myself. In the midst of the sea of those who worship me, I will still feel lonely if I do not feel you near me. As if in this vast world, I only have you.

“I've always wanted to be with you. Anytime, anywhere, and no matter how. If it means being second in your heart after the Angel of the North River, then so be it. I'm okay, because I can't offer my love anymore!”

The mantel still closed his eyes. The tighter the embrace. His mind was whistling around to find the best verdict of the best for the girl. It would be impossible for Mantingan to leave it alone!

For a man like himself, feelings are something of little importance and should be kept out of all precarious situations. What it needs is planning, which must always be accompanied by implementation, so that it can solve all problems quickly and happily. Not feelings!

But however, Mantingan must also put his face on the feelings of Dara who apparently put all the love only to him one.

After being silent for a long time to ease her cries, Dara just resumed her words.

“To prove how much I really love you, Mantingan, then I must help you achieve the goals you want, even though I have to hook someone other than you. Isn't love not always must have?”

So Mantingan soon found out that the speech was the conclusion of Dara's long story that was full of untold sorrow.

“You can't do this. Go all the way from Suvarnabhumi. Get out of Dwipantara. You can stay anywhere by disguising yourself as someone else, then rebuild your trade with all the shrewdness you have.”

“No need to think of me who will always be fine here,” continued Mantingan. “If you want to love someone, then love yourself first.”

Dara lifted her face, making Mantingan's mind immediately felt sore for the sake of seeing it.

“What I love you is so much bigger than I love myself.” That was how he said then with a voice that no longer sobbed. It seems true that his steadiness has been round, unbreakable. “I'll do everything for you, Mantingan. Whatever it is.”

“Why do you have that feeling for me?” Mantingan asked sharply right after Dara finished her speech. “From the many men who adore you to be willing to give whatever they have, but why do you love me who does not adore you and is not willing to give anything to you?”

“When you saved me in the wilderness of Javadvipa forest that day, I gave you my whole life. Everything I have is not mine, but yours. Every time I stand on stage, which is very lively with cheers that say my name, I always present it to you. Nothing else!”

Mantingan gulped his saliva. Quite a shock to his soul when those words came into his ears. He could truly feel that the girl was not talking with him!

But Mantingan still felt that Dara's actions had exceeded the limits. He recalled the words of Kiai Guru Kedai:

“Yourself is not yours, but belongs to the Gusti to the fullest. Then do not serve anyone but Gusti!”

Why is Dara's speech really the opposite of the words of Kiai Guru Kedai? Wouldn't the girl give up all of her souls and be willing to do anything for her, it would make Mantingan a match for the Wrestling?

“This is not true, Dara. You are not mine.” The mantang took off a hug, changed by holding both of the girl's shoulders. Stare at him sharply. “If you devote yourself to the truth, and not to me, then surely you will know that this is absolutely wrong.”

“No.” Dara brushed both hands off Mantingan from his shoulders. “I will still do what has been my decision.”

“Consider once again, Dara. Do not let you regret later on just because it is too hasty ..” Mantingan said very weakly, little hope left, because with the ability to read the omens he could know how Dara could not be stopped.

“No.” Once again Dara said so, but now began to push Mantingan towards the door in the room. “You can't linger here. If until outsiders are suspicious, then threatened our marriage.”

The mantle seemed to lose all its strength. Just let it go when Dara opened the door and pushed it out.

“Trust me, I will really still succeed even without your help. Consider once again ...”

Dara looked at him seriously. Silent moment. No one speaks. Mantingan again gulped bitterly. Will his goal say that, which is to hurt Dara's feelings so that his mind is clear, has met success?

“One thing I know for sure, that love however it is must have sacrifice."

Right after saying that, Dara managed to push Mantingan out of her room. He signaled the few guards who were around, before they dragged the Mantingan who had lost all of that power all the way from Dara's room.
