KINA SAID the same thing. “Nothing, let Kak Maman know. Maybe Kak Maman will also laugh.”
Mantingan stared at the Northern River Angel in full view. The girl seemed to be careless, but Mantingan did not want to look away until the North River Angel wanted to answer her question.
The Northern River Angel took a deep breath. Staring at the Mantian with a guilty look. “I am the one who hit Brother on the head until you are unconscious. But it wasn't without reason, I thought you were the enemy. Forgive me, I did not see you in the dark.”
Kana and Kina laughed loosely, The Northern River Angel smiled awkwardly again. But not with Mantingan who only put on a flat face. He must admit that the blow of the North River Angel still hurts until now. Of course Mantingan could not laugh.
“Then what happened after that, Sister? How's the enemy coming after us last night?”
Bidadari Sungai Utara. “Better we don't discuss it here. It's not appropriate for children.”
“No need to move, Brother Sasmita, let us go.” Kana stood up, inviting Kina to go with her. “Let's take a walk around the village, mumpung hari morn.”
“Alright, Kanda!” Kina happily accepted her brother's offer. Be them passing from the middle room.
So there fell Mantingan who stood near the stairs, and the North River Angel who sat behind the table. The girl signaled Mantingan to come closer and sit opposite him.
The mantel walked over and pulled one of the chairs behind the table. The young man tapped his fingers on the surface of the table, waiting for a more complete answer from the Northern River Angel.
“Is Brother still mad at me?”
“No, but this still hurts a little.” The mantle supports his chin with both hands. “I just want to know what happened after I was unconscious last night.”
The Angel of the North River put up his earnest look. “They attacked us by breaking into the wall, launching a very strong site attack. All the opponents I've killed, and so have you if your caping doesn't wake me up. Then I brought you home at lightning speed. I'm sure not many see us.”
“Isn't there one swordsman I disabled?”
“And he rose again to kill you.”
Then Mantingan let out a long breath. “How many Sisters killed last night?”
“Nine attackers.”
The face of the mantan immediately changed. “Should you kill all of them?”
“I can't knock out all the enemies, they attack at the same time, so I kill them all with a sense of force.”
The real mantel still could not believe it. So easy was the North River Angel to kill nine human lives—without much guilt.
The Northern River Angel saw the change on Mantingan's face, he could only sigh deeply and explain, “This is the martial world, Brother Man. The enemy will not hesitate to kill you even if you are reluctant to kill them.”
“The world of warriors should be changed, Sister Sasmita.” The mantle says softly. “Lotus Book, did Sister manage to save her?”
“Of course, I put it on your room book shelf. That's the stuff that got us attacked last night.”
“I'm sorry,” says Mantingan full of regrets. “I'll take it, please wait here.”
***
“Does Sister know everything about this book?”
The North River's angel shook his head slowly. “I don't think I know too much about the Book of the Lotus, but it doesn't matter to me to tell you everything I know about this book.”
“Please explain to me.” Warm smiling coat.
The Northern River Angel returned a Mantingan smile before explaining everything he knew about the Lotus Book.
As Trika had mentioned last night, the Lotus Book came from the northern land which was not the Land of the Roof of Heaven. The North River Angel also explained what Trika explained yesterday, but there are some additions that Mantingan can catch.
The Book of Lotus contains a life guide. It is not a Bible, but there is a white school that uses it as a Bible. Some even say that the Lotus is a holy book. Not just anyone could understand the Book of Lotus.
The Book of Lotus gets its name in such a way because the lotus plant reflects balance and tranquility. The translation of the Lotus into Sanskrit is not widely known even today, but quite a lot believe that the translator is a person who likes to memingit themselves.
All the verses in the Lotus Book have life lessons that are exemplary and made a way of life, although the language contained seems like a mere fairy tale.
The Book of the Lotus makes Gusti, the Creator, the only master who has the right to be served and obeyed his commands. There is no other master but Him. Upon hearing this, Mantingan's face immediately shone.
But not a few people who doubt the authenticity of the Lotus Book. Even many say the Lotus Book is one of the black school books. But not a few also believe it as a white school book. So it goes against those two camps.
“If you are trying to find peace, then read this book. But on the other hand, it also teaches the art of war. That's for sure.” The Angel of the North River finished his explanation.
“And what does Sister herself think of this book?” Again Mantingan asked softly.
“I think of this book as an expensive book.”
The mantel laughed softly. “Price for knowledge is not cheap, Sister.”
“That's for Brothers who choose a lot of money.” The Northern River Angel looked to be smiling faintly.
Meanwhile, Mantingan just shook his head. He seems to disagree with the opinion of the North River Angel.
“If Sisters have a strong desire, then the whole universe will unite together to help Sisters achieve that desire, with or without money.”
“I did not have a strong desire to get this, Brother Man,” he said later. “Different from you who really want this book.”
“Who said I want this book?” Forehead The mantle wrinkled as he said that. “I don't want the Book of Lotus. I don't even know about this book. However, I seek peace and balance in life as well as in combat though. So I guess, I'm a match with the Lotus Book.”
The North River Angel simply nodded, the rest of him speechless.
“This book I will not study alone, Sister can also learn this book. Feel free to borrow it from me.”
“The book is for five Stones, equivalent to 5,000 gold pieces.” He answered briefly.
“Sasmita.” Mantingan back softly, “without you, this book has switched to the hands of others.”
