The Musafir

The Musafir
Chaos in the Palace

“Who is afraid? Come!”

PERFECT was the wish of the king when the bloody commotion began then and there. Under the pretext of salvation, King Koying was immediately surrounded by a female warrior who was in charge of ensuring his safety. They left the ward as soon as possible.

In less than the blink of an eye, the Thousand Houses Palace Courtyard turned into the scene of the bloodiest fight that had ever happened in that place. No matter what punishment one might get for killing inside the palace, the warriors continued to prowl and attack each other blindly.

The mantle stood up from its place. The only thing he wanted to do right now was to save Dara, but no longer saw the girl on the ward stage. Could he have been taken away with the king?

“He was with the king's entourage,” said Chitra Anggini amid the shrill sounds of death and the debum of blows. “We must leave this place immediately if we do not want to perish!”

“Wait!” The mantle breathed Chitra Anggini's arm just before the girl flashed. “This atmosphere is still not chaotic enough. We have to wait a little while.”

Chitra Anggini looked around. How can it be called not chaotic enough? Thousands of warriors flew through the air while sending tread attacks on anyone in front of him, no matter friends or opponents because they could all be considered enemies. Blood splashing. The bodies exploded, discharging all their contents. The human bodies were lying on the floor of the ward, countless more.

For the woman, this event was a war between her fellow most chaotic warriors she had ever seen. But for Mantingan, this is still incomparable with the war in the north sea Javadvipa. Wasn't it at that time, hundreds of thousands of warriors were poking each other until even the land became a sea of blood?

“What else can be more chaotic than this?”

The pitch-black sky turned bright with a deep red light when Chitra Anggini finished saying that. For a moment the fight in the Thousand House Palace Courtyard came to a halt. All the surviving warriors took time to see the incident, but then they returned to fighting like nothing had happened before.

Mantingan and Chitra Anggini looked at each other before agreeing without saying a word. They immediately flashed towards the entrance into the king's residence to the west, in accordance with what the Dark Lord had requested. Nearby, Chitra Anggini had hidden all the needed weaponry, so they would not have to return to the residence.

On the other hand, a massive assault took place at the main door of the palace. The attackers are skilled warriors with the appearance of dungeons who have even mastered the magic of moving places like what Mantingan mastered.

Hundreds of guard soldiers were simply unable to withstand the assault. With no resistance at all, their lives were soared with bodies drenched in blood by dozens of flying knives. Even just pulling the sword from its sheath they did not have time.

Now the greatness of the black shadow milling about jumped over layer upon layer of the palace walls. There was no magic stopping their movements at all. Traveling so smoothly and fast like the wind was reluctant to hold it.

At that very moment, a bright bright red glowing fireball was flashed from the four winds toward the expanse of the night sky. Anyone knew that it was a sign that the palace had lost all its magic power!

Meanwhile, Mantingan and Chitra Anggini very quickly arrived near the west door of the king's residence after taking all the weaponry. There, it appeared that the two warriors stood upright guarding the door that even had a height many times that of their bodies, completely unsuitable for the job.

The mantan unhesitatingly sent out air shots to render the two soldiers unconscious. The attack should not be easily broken by warriors like the Koying Palace guard, but the only arrival of the wind from the side which so badly hit the Mantingan wind.

A black shadow flashed in front of Mantingan and Chitra Anggini, giving a signal to stop and tread the ground. When the two of them did that, the black shadow figure that appeared to be an old-looking man immediately explained.

Without waiting for the answer from the two young men, the black shadow figure flashed away again.

“Can't he we trust fully?” chitra Anggini asked with a face that could not be denied his anxiety.

“No one can be fully trusted,” Reply Mantingan before walking towards the two warriors.

Such actions, if done in the usual days, can be considered as a crazy act that only leads to death. However, in this day, with all the planning in place, something much crazier awaited them inside the king's residence. Not in this place.

“Who dares to approach the secret door of the king's residence?!” One of the soldiers said long while pulling his same length.

“This night is so dark!” The mantel answered without further ado.

After hearing the answer, immediately the soldier lowered his leeway while looking at the fellow next to him. As if speechless in the eyes, the two nodded.

“Follow us. Not much time left.”

The two warriors opened the palace doors with a series of magic seals. Although the magic power in the palace had been crippled by the Dark Lord, the king's residence remained unaffected. As the most guarded place throughout the Koying region, the king's residence has a separate magic seal and can only be controlled by the king himself or the estranged troops that have been trusted.

The huge door opened shortly afterwards, making the last layer of defensive fortifications in the Koying Palace arguably broken down.

But at the same time, the opening of one of the doors in the king's residence must have been known by other caste forces guarding inside, or even by the king himself. The words of the soldier who says that there is not much time left are not just nonsense or nonsense.

They're coming in soon. Become the shadow. The two warriors immediately took the lead in front; Mantingan and Chitra Anggini followed behind by equalizing the speed even though they could move much faster than that.

Jumping over the roofs of buildings that are there, the beauty presented is no longer negotiable. The full moon hangs right in the sky with all the bright rays that radiate. The flower trees are still fragrant. The pool water seemed calm with all the fish in it that seemed not and did not want to know about the great chaos in the palace. Buildings with an arrangement of gray bricks add nuance.

None of them could feel that calm. Not even the entire population of Kotaraja who have long dreamed of visiting the king's residence directly. Not after the four pitch-red fireballs radiated high above the sky from the four winds!
