The Musafir

The Musafir
Six Travelers

WHEN MANTINGAN arrived downstairs, he immediately stepped towards the table that had been ordered by the ten White Mask Troops.

Along the way his eyes several times glanced at the travelers in the corner of the room who is now sucking the hornbill.

He understood clearly the warning of the owner of the shop. The person said “be careful you guys” after exposing that the room door does not have a special key. And Mantingan also clearly understood, that he would not be able to sleep tonight.

“Goodnight, Brother Man.”

ONE of the ten soldiers greeted Mantingan.

“Goodnight, Brothers.”

Mantingan then saw one by one the ten soldiers. Although they were part of the White Mask Army, but they took off the white mask that became his trademark in the task this time.

“What would you like Brother Man to order? Let me order.”

Manten. “Let me order by myself, Brother. Thank you for your offer.”

When the father of the shop owner came to bring an order in the form of ten cups of tea mixed with cow's milk to their table, Mantingan ordered.

“I want the same tea, Father. Please also bring boiled nuts if you have.”

The owner of the shop nodded before passing.

The atmosphere on their table remained silent, even though the order had been received by the ten White Mask Troops.

The mantan also seemed not interested in opening the conversation. Just like the ten warriors around him, he understood how he was doing.

The mantel knocks on the table board using his fingers with his eyes closed. Just then Mantingan put up Hearing Dew Drops.

The sound waves Mantingan produced by tapping the table board moved quickly towards the travelers in the corner of the room. Dropping the body of travelers without being realized at all by them all. The sound was reflected again to then captured the ears of the Mantin using the Science of Hearing Dew Drops.

Soon the young man got a picture of the travelers that his eyes could not see. Immediately the Mantingan sent a whisper of wind to the ten White Mask Troops surrounding it.

“They all totaled six though only five were visible. The sixth hid in the shadows, using disguise magic. The six of them were armed with discs, short daggers, and flying needles.”

The ten swordsmen did not give any response despite having received whispers of wind from Mantingan. The right action so that the enemy does not put a lot of suspicion.

Dishes ordered Mantingan until then. The tea and the boiled beans were puffing steam. Clearly just lifted from the fireplace.

Mantingan took out a piece of gold with the intention of giving it to the father of the tavern owner who delivered the dish.

At first the owner of the shop was silent. Because there is no ordinary customer to pay in advance. But then he accepted it without saying much.

Mantingan sipped tea mixed with cow's milk with a gaze that could not be separated from its sharpness.

The mantle opened his mouth. Whispering with the wind that will deliver him to the ten warriors.

“Do not open before they start acting. But I hope you guys don't mind swinging your swords tonight.”

They continued drinking tea. The mantel pushed a plate full of boiled beans into the middle of the table and offered them. They all ate the beans so the enemy could see they were relaxing.

The mantan continued to tap his fingers onto the table board. It looks like I am enjoying the view. But what a finger tap on the table board is actually the way Mantingan knows all his opponents without turning his head towards them.

Suddenly one of the travelers got up from his seat. After straightening the back of the item for a moment, the person stepped foot towards the stairs. Steps soon. Like a sleepy drunk, and as if going upstairs to sleep in his room.

The mantle stood up from his seat. While carrying the Kiai Kedai Sword, he walked quickly to the man.

How with the Science of Hearing Dew Drops and based on the explanation of the father of the tavern owner who intended to warn him, he knew that the entire room on the second floor had been filled with merchants!

So when the man found out that Mantingan was following him, he no longer climbed the steps one by one, but flashed quickly!

The mantel followed him with a flicker anyway. The person he was chasing was moving as fast as lightning, but the Mantingan that could move faster than the speed of lightning was easy to catch up with.

Even that person had not reached the bend of the stairs towards the second floor, his life had been uprooted in the blade of the Kiai Kedai Sword. The mantle sheathed its sword before its opponent's body collapsed onto the shop floor.

The mantel stood upright not far from where his opponent was sprawled without life. His eyes looked straight. Sharp, but as if looking at nothing but a wooden wall.

“Using friends to test the strength of opponents ..” Mantingan said quietly, but he knew that his voice could be heard by the five travelers in the corner of the room. “... actions that can only be performed black stream swordsman network down.”

The mantel heard the sound of laughter. Hard filled the room, long as it would not stop.

“You know our true selves, Hero Man? We also know your identity.”

The mantan smiled faintly under the shadow of his caping.

“No need to linger anymore, Brother Man.” One of the warriors from the White Mask Army said as he pulled his sword from the cage. “We must indeed quell them.”

“You guys are so confident, yes?” Now it was a traveler who said in a feminine tone. “We instead of sacrificing friends to test the strength of opponents, we just throw garbage.”

The mantan turned and descended the stairs step by step while saying, “Why don't we fight outside?”

Back to the voice of the womanizing traveler, “How can we take off our prey so easily, Hero Man?”

“Good.” Mantingan said casually when his footwear no longer stepped on the stairs. “Father of the store, how much does it cost to overcome the damage of this store? We'll all be joint venture to pay for it.”

The owner of the store who was seen sucking tea behind the booking table said, “So I told you not to bring trouble to this place, right? But if you want to be responsible for the damage to this store, then my anger may be reduced a lot.” The man placed his cup on the table before continuing his words. “To repair medium to heavy damage store, it takes at least a hundred pieces of gold.”

The Mantingan took out a sum of gold coins, placed it on an empty table nearby. “I have twenty pieces of gold. What about the others?”
