The Musafir
About Kembangmas

Birawa again let out a long sigh after she finished reading the contents of the Mantingan. Now the old man looked at Mantingan with a more serious gaze, but still smiled warmly.

“So you are also looking for Kembangmas, my Son?”

Mantingan frowned, then asked him curiously, “Do you believe in the existence of Kembangmas?”

The old man smiled. “Wait here, Son. I'll be back in a minute.” Birawa stood up and walked towards the other room.

Come to think of it, Birawa could have actually been walking at an invisible speed. But it seemed like he wanted to enjoy what it was like to walk like an ordinary person, just like Mantingan who had always enjoyed the taste of the road surface.

During Birawa's departure, Mantingan could only see the roof of the room filled with spider webs and dust. Birawa returned shortly afterwards, carrying a large pile of ejections and rolled up maps.

All of it was placed on the table in front of them, Birawa again sat opposite Mantingan.

“Child, these are all the records I've collected. These records concern the existence of Kembangmas and the form of Kembangmas.”

“How can ...”

The mantle was astonished. Other people will laugh out loud if they hear themselves looking for records about the Gembangmas and consider it insane. But now Birawa shows a stack of notes about Kembangmas with a serious facial expression.

“Is this not a pile of children's fairy tales, Father?”

Birawa. “Certainly no, My son.”

“Then why are there records like this?” The mantel still does not believe.

“I collected all of this, Son.”

“But, how can it be?”

Birawa widened her smile. “If you are curious, you can read it yourself.”

The mantle with a slightly shaking hand opened the ejected sheets in front of him.

“If you have read enough, I will explain the contents of this map.” Birawa patted the long map in her hand.

Mantian nodded. Gurgle the spit before starting to read the contents of the spit. Eyes buying.

The mantan had finished reading all the contents of that toss. The sun had risen earlier, and now the two benches beside Mantingan had been filled by Rara and Arkawidya. The two women were confused to look at Mantingan who was so serious about reading the pontoon that their greeting was not reciprocated. When Arkawidya asked his grandfather, Birawa shook her head slowly and asked them to wait for Mantingan to finish reading.

Tetiba Mantingan took a deep breath. He finished reading the last sheet. He looked to his right and left and then greeted Rara and Arkawidya, he also apologized for not returning their greetings.

“Having finished you reading, Mantingan?”

The mantel nodded in wisdom. “I've understood, Mr.”

The ejection sheets that Mantingan read about information Kembangmas. There was so much he got, maybe even the whole thing. Mantingan so know about the nature of Kembangmas.

The flower is no ordinary plant. He has reason as well as animals, but his intelligence is above that of animals. Human intelligence is almost equal to human intelligence!

It is known based on traces of Kembangmas that avoid accidental hunter traps to trap Gembangmas. Kembangmas's high sense is evidenced by the way he removed the snare, and his speed is evidenced by his running trail. Some assume that it was just an animal that managed to escape from the trap, but the imprinted trail took the form of a plant root.

Another possibility about Kembangmas says that Kembangmas is a demon that can change into a human being. It is not known if he was of any gender when he turned into a human, or if he could be a double. This is evidenced by the presence of traces of roots similar to those found before, but these roots turned into human footprints as they approached a lake.

The hunt for Kembangmas has ever massively occurred. The flower is considered rare and special. Many royal nobles who hunt kembangmas. And it was these nobles that resulted in the hunt for Kembangmas being stopped.

The nobles who participated in the hunt disappeared with his guards, almost no survivors. The other hunters also disappeared without leaving much trace. Only their clothes were found as evidence of the disappearance of the men. A cloth with chocolate was inserted in the ejection as evidence for anyone reading, the brown spot was a blood patch. Surprisingly, on the cloth smelled a soothing smell that seemed not to lose its aroma.

Since then, the kingdom decided the hunt for Kembangmas as forbidden. The rules were not written, but still no one dared to hunt down Gembangmas. Life is the bet.

It is also suspected that the kingdom makes fairy tales about Kembangmas, without knowing the reason.

It happened during the Salakanagara period.

What made Mantingan sigh long was the fact that his life was in danger. Is Kenanga theatrical and intend to harm her?

Not likely. Kenanga was clearly not theatrical. He had seen sincerity and honesty from his eyes, and had also seen how he really wanted to get out of that place.

Is it possible that Kenanga did not know about the fate of the kembangmas hunters?

“Children Mantingan,” Birawa calling. “Try see this.”

Birawa offered a wooden box that had nothing in it. The mantel accepted and opened the box without hesitation.

Seen by him a sheet of paper-like objects thin gold. Then Mantingan began to smell the aroma of flowers that are so soothing and like containing joy as well as sadness. Could this?

“True, Son. Here's a small part of Kembangmas.” Birawa laughed softly. “You know, Son of Mantingan? That I am one of the very lucky Kembangmas hunters has met him and can still live until now.”

Birawa took out a paper, it could be seen that it was paper from the Land of the Roof of Heaven! The paper was given to Mantingan, and the paper was not unloaded.

Mantingan look at the contents of the paper with wide eyes.

It was a painting. Not a painting of a landscape in the mountains or a view of a rice field. This is what the Kembangmas that Birawa has seen with his own eyes!

“It's hard for you to accept this for sure. But believe me, that it is like the form of Kembangmas that I see.” Birawa laughed again. “I once fought with Kembangmas, but I was able to escape his clutches due to the blessing from the sky.

Mantingan was still looking at the form of Kembangmas when he asked, “Does the Gembangmas indeed occur savagely in humans, Mr?”

Birawa shook her head weakly and leaned her back against the chair. “Should not. The plant was supposed to be a blessing to the earth, and not to make any damage let alone to kill many creatures. But he had to, Son.”

The mantle scrunched his forehead.
