The TEN Fruits had only stopped singing after a while. Thus began an auction that made Mantingan very surprised.
They auctioned their own bodies!
“To bring Shinta tonight, Gentlemen only need to take out fifty pieces of gold. Shinta will accompany anyone who can afford to pay until the sun rises.” One of the women came forward holding her soy sauce. She smiled widely, and indeed her beauty was truly inexorable.
“As for Ashwini, Gentlemen only have to pay ninety pieces of gold. My ability is poetry and everything related to susastra.” Another woman advanced while stretching out a scroll of throwers. Her beauty was still above average, only it began to appear faded due to age.
While the auction was still going on, Mantingan got a sign from the shop owner's mother to approach. Because the food was all finished, he immediately stood up and walked over to the woman.
“It's time,” whispered mom owner shop. “Cute daku.”
Mantingan nodded before following the steps of the tavern owner's mother towards the back room. Even so, his vigilance did not fade at all. His right arm had never been too far away from his Savrinadeya Sword that was scorched on his waist belt.
The back room in the tavern was completely dark. There are no windows and no air holes. Light from outside cannot enter, whereas the room itself does not have any light source.
But even so, the shop owner's mother continued to step forward confidently, it was as if he had memorized the entire intricacies of the room so there was no need to worry about crashing into anything despite walking in the pitch darkness.
While the Mantingan did not experience any obstacles at all. He can still follow the woman with the Science of Hearing Dew Drops he has. Even in this kind of darkness, he could see things better than opening his eyes.
The shop owner's mother walked down the stairs down the corner of the room. The stairs were filled with huge holes, but the woman was able to pass through them very easily, as if her eyes could pierce through the darkness.
“Follow my step voice completely, or you will get trouble.”
Without the need to follow the voice of the woman's steps was actually Mantingan can-can just walk without obstacles, he said, but he intended to hide the sharp hearing knowledge he had so that he put an attitude as if he could not see anything in front of him.
“I cannot estimate the sound of your footsteps, Mother,” Mantingan said as she stopped her footsteps on the first rung. “What's downstairs? My eyes can see nothing but darkness!”
Isn't what Mantingan said not a lie?
Knowing that Mantingan had stopped stepping, the shop owner's mother stopped her steps. “You really can't see anything?”
Mantingan did not directly answer the question, but said, “Take me, let this not be a troublesome affair.”
The woman immediately turned around and breathed Mantingan's arm, before again walking down the stairs while holding Mantingan.
Indeed, the actions of the Mantingan have been really appropriate, instead of making non-essential matters more complicated.
The ability of the Science of Hearing Dew Drops translate sound into form is certainly an advantage that determines the victory in the fight. But if the opponent has known the advantage first, then the Science of Hearing Dew Drops will soon turn into weakness.
It is better if the special ability is hidden, even though it means that it will complicate matters that are not really necessary.
The stairs ended on a door that was smaller than usual. The shop owner's mother immediately opened it and soon a ray of light greeted her.
The door leads to a room in which there are two benches and a table. Several fire lanterns hung in the corners of the room.
With his own eyes, Mantingan can see a figure dressed all in black and all closed has occupied one of the benches. Mrs Darkness!
“Please enter, Son. I'll wait outside.” The owner's mother extended her hand towards the room and invited her.
Without hesitation, Mantingan immediately entered the room and occupied the remaining stool. Face to Face with the Dark Lord. The door suddenly closed and a magic spell appeared that sealed it.
“Hero Man, we meet again.” The voice of shahdu Mrs Darkness chanted solitude. “But, why would a Hero hide such great self-ability?”
With cold Mantingan replied, “I always hide the power from my enemies.”
Responding to that, Mrs Darkness actually laughed softly. “So shall the Hero hate me?”
“I will never have the heart to hate a coward who doesn't even dare to show himself.” Manten sizzling slowly. “But for a big coward like you, I will always have hatred.”
“What is the use of hate without action?” The voice of the Dark Lord was still smooth and gentle, but his tone began to sound challenging.
“Come here with your true form so that I can show you my actions.” His hand moved palpating the hilt of the Savrinadeya Sword. His eyes emitted a murderous air.
“After the Hero has broken through the palace, then we can meet. That's why I gave this to you.” Mister Darkness pointed at a ejected petal that could somehow appear on that table. “The idea is planning. I wrote using characters and passphrases, your friend named Chitra Anggini was able to translate it.”
Mantingan did not then take the palm shell, but asked, “How can you write a script and passphrase that should only be mastered by members of the Leaf Dancers Group?”
“Hero Man asked too deeply, this myself has no power to answer him.”
The mantan only shook his head slowly because he knew that he could not force even with violence. However, the Dark Lord before him today is only a shadow, not at all a genuine form that can be a Charm of torment to issue the necessary evidence.
Be he can only curse in the heart. How cowardly is that woman!
“I also want to warn Heroes not to have miscellaneous intentions. The troops I have can always knock you out at any time, so don't make me forced to do just that.” Mistress Darkness again laughed softly with her very melodious voice. “Isn't in this cooperation, we are mutually beneficial to each other? I feel so astonished why Hero Man could hate me.”
“You who took advantage of my strength, Mrs Darkness.” Mantingan stared intently, trying to highlight the woman's eyes which were covered in black cloth. “And you have also trapped me into an object that you can move at will.”
“That's the world of underground martial arts, Heroes, we always love trickery,” said Mrs Darkness gently. “Your friend Chitra Anggini certainly will not be surprised by this tactic of mine and instead think of you as a fool.”
