Mantingan continued his journey on the North Line to Agrabinta.
Agrabinta has a large area, even greater than the Sunda region. Agrabinta is located in the mountains and sea at once. Agrabinta intersected with the Malabar Kingdom and the Alengka Kingdom on the eastern side. Tanjung Kidul, Kelapa Barang, and Fragrance on the west side. The main ones are Purwakerta and Pura Dalem. This agrabinta included a small kingdom that joined the Tarumanagara rule.
The North Road looks quiet and deserted. During the walk on this road, Mantingan only saw a few horse carriages or buffalo carts passing by, that's all with a quick race. All of them carried paid warriors as a form of anticipation of the attack.
From what Mantingan heard recently from the diner, a paid swordsman job is a job that is selling well. Some people gradually accept the existence of warriors, no longer think of it as a back story.
But still, they accepted the existence of a warrior as a saint who drank a certain potion or went to a shaman, so that his body could be bouncy and agile in fighting. They still refuse to believe that training is the real way to become a swordsman.
Mantingan was even offered to be a paid swordsman by the people—who somehow— met him on the road. Of course Mantingan refused it, he did not think at all to be a paid swordsman during his life.
On this stretch of road, Mantingan felt a coolness and peace that he had not felt for a long time. Indeed, the journey to Agrabinta is filled with high hills that cool. This coolness, the last time he felt in the cave where he trained first.
But Mantingan realized, that in fact he was in a region prone to war, because this is a border area between regions which however often become a hiding place for robbers. The mantle constantly installs its hearing.
For a swordsman, hearing is sometimes more useful than the eyes. A swordsman can fight without eyes, but it will be very difficult if without ears even though he has sharp eyes.
Secret weapons such as poisonous needles or flying knives can be known for their presence from their whims captured by the ears. The eyes were usually not fast enough to follow in which direction the secret weapon was headed. With just the sound of a flying weapon, a swordsman could tell where the weapon was, and could predict where he should move to avoid it.
But installing sharp hearing without knowledge is very painful ears. Science is a collection of ways to use or make good use of something on a particular part of the body.
Especially ears. Without a science, Mantingan can still have sharp hearing, only utilizing internal energy only. But if without a science, the inner energy used tends to be more and more painful. Think of science as an intermediary for the ear, without intermediaries, the inner energy actually hurts the user.
The same thing happens in human life. Actually humans can use the surrounding nature well, but the lack of science will actually damage nature itself even though the profit obtained is only a little. Utilizing something without knowledge often causes a struggle, which leads to a commotion or even war.
The steps of the Mantingan suddenly stopped. His face turned ugly. Something doesn't sound good. Mantingan listened to a voice that he really did not expect. Battle sounds.
Sword clink. Screaming pain. Meaningful. Sough arrow. All of this was not pleasant to hear by him.
“Do I really have to go through this road?” The mantan muttered slowly.
Completely left with no other choice, the Mantingan re-inserted his map into the bundle before stepping foot onto the road. If it was true that there was a war ahead there, he should have been able to easily get through it. The flying speed of the Mantangan could offset the speed of lightning, only high-level warriors could see its movements.
If the steps are stopped later, Mantingan sure can overcome it without bloodshed. Currently he could be said to be a high-level swordsman. Although Mantingan only underwent a training period of three years, but his rare talent made the Mantingan that can now match even high-level warriors.
Especially after Mantingan studied the books of science given by Rama to him, Mantingan's understanding increased rapidly.
In studying a book of science, Mantingan only needs one reading to memorize everything. Mantingan usually reads a book six times, which means Mantingan's understanding of a book is very deep than other warriors.
Currently the Mantingan did not hesitate anymore to advance to the battle arena. After all he did not side with Tarumanagara or black flow. Mantingan is not a soldier belonging to anyone, he is a Gusti army whose job is to spread kindness and compassion.
The bustle of the battle was heard as the Mantingan approached the battle area. Gradually the Mantingan saw for itself the true appearance of the battle that occurred.
The mantel breathed once. He really did not like to see this view. Bodies are not scattered. The arrows went out of nowhere. The horses ran and grimaced without their riders. While the living still continue to hold the weapon or just his fists, attacking by mouth.
The battle took place on the streets, until it came out quite far on two sides of the road. The bushes and trees fell as a result of the battle.
The mantle would not stand up and look at them any longer.
With a single breath, he darted swiftly into the middle of the battle. Everything slowed down in Mantingan's eyes, but his body kept on speeding up. Mantingan saw the people below him who in the slow impression can be seen how the look on his face.
From their faces were plastered with anger, fear, worry, and despair, all of which were mixed into a scary look.
Blood was flying in the air and Mantingan could clearly see that. How terrible the battle was, as if they did not realize that they were both human. The battle that took place this time was not a battle of humans against beasts, it was a battle against its own kind. Civil war. What a cruel and heartless thing. Power struggles that some people make can take many lives.
The mantan made it through the war rink easily.
A few warriors who were aware of Mantingan's movements immediately chased after the young man. But the speed of the Mantingan really could not be overtaken by them. Be warriors who pursue the Mantingan back to its original place to return to their respective battle affairs.
While the Mantingan had far left the battle area. He just slowed down after making sure no one else was chasing him.
