The Musafir

The Musafir
Civilization and Regulation

MANTINGAN had heard that the island in the middle of the bay was not without the existence of its inhabitants. However, the people living on the island had openly rejected any new sophistication coming from outside. So that their looks, clothes, and work will be the same as those in ancient times.

They reject sustainable change without meeting certainty. For example, when a new teaching comes, everyone considers it the most correct igama. But when other new teachings come, not a few adherents of the old igama become switched to a new igama.

That is what they call unquestionable change, for it is the Almighty that is certain without change. His existence has been absolute with perfection that can no longer be more perfect than that, so there is no need for any change.

Does not change mean that there is something imperfect or satisfying about a vision?

So, the beliefs held by the people on the island remain in the teachings of their ancestors, that is to make a big stone or a big tree as the embodiment of the Almighty so that all their movements feel like someone is monitoring.

Initially, Mantingan thought that what the people were doing was the truth, by rejecting the new teachings of faith that came without certainty, but apparently the Book of the Lotus has denied this for a long time.

As it is written in one of the verses in the book:

To join the Almighty is not just belief

Don't you see that it is more about the rules of life and the rules of state?

For the Almighty must have power attached to him

In the power of human imagination

He is led by His representative in the face of the world

And when the rule of the state has been allied with the rule of another state

So the makers and adherents of that rule have joined forces with the Almighty

The Mantingan is well aware that belief will not make the Almighty become powerful over the man of His creation. Only by the rule of state can He fulfill his name as the All-Powerful One over all men.

If you examine all the rules that exist in human life, it will be formed as the Book of the Lotus says in one of its verses:

If a man lives alone, he must have rules of life

If a man lives with his family, he must have family rules

If the family lives with other families, then it must have environmental rules

If the neighborhood must live with other neighborhoods, then it must have city rules

If the city should live with other cities, then it must have territorial rules

If the territory must live with other regions, then it must have state rules

However, if countries have to live with other countries, are there greater rules to overshadow them?

The rule of state is the highest rule in human life at large. International rules agreed by several countries at once is nonsense to cover up a country that follows the rules in order to take certain profits.

As mentioned in the Book of the Lotus in the fourth chapter:

Each group is proud of what they have

So that the conflict can no longer be avoided

Divisions become a certainty and a necessity

They blind each other to control each other

Thinking about the matter of state rules makes Mantingan feel an insufferable dizzy in his head. In fact, the thought was just something that came to mind when he remembered the island in the middle of the bay. However, he was well aware that the matter of state rules is not something very trivial, so for a moment he thought about it again.

When a country uses the rule of the Almighty as its foundation, then that is how then the country has established “Sang Raja” as the only ruler who is entitled to be served by all his people, then the country has established Sang Raja as the only ruler who has the right to be served by all his people, of course with a human leader who became His representative on earth.

To that end, the Book of the Lotus contains one other verse as the culmination of the explanation of the rules of all those rules:

Then put your eyes ahead

There you will see the decree of the Sovereign

In accordance with the provisions you were created

Because He created you according to that rule

But most people don't know about it

Mantingan stopped all his thoughts about the Lotus Book, the rule of state, and even the people left behind on the island because Munding had landed on the sand beach of his destination island.

Not realizing how long he was immersed in contemplation, and now it must be broken even though it can still last much longer, because the purpose of approaching this island is not to think of the people who inhabit it but Chitra Anggini a!

Now the tinge of sun has appeared slightly in the east direction. Bat groups form a very long line in the dark blue sky to return to their caves. Meanwhile, groups of seabirds also form triangular rows, replacing bats as the ruler of the sky.

Although with all the symptoms of nature, today still can not be called the light of the land, because the land is not fully visible. But unaffected by the darkness, Mantingan continued his footsteps after telling Munding to wait in that place. With the Science of Hearing Dew Drops, he was able to get a much clearer vision than what his eyes could get.

All sounds can be captured so clearly that they seem to be no clearer than that. Screaming of beach crabs digging holes under the sand of the beach. Scattered shell of the hermit crabs rubbing against the grains of sand. Coconut debum fell from a great distance. The waves that he can even hear up to the water droplets. Everything becomes very clear.

Although the island is known to have been quiet since the beginning, but now the loneliness is increasingly felt without the traffic of various sailing ships that pass near the island. Surely the news of the downfall of the city had made the merchants from outside think hundreds of times before entering the city.

While the fishermen feel heavy hearted go to sea, just to show that they feel sorry for the death of the king. No matter how famous the king was as an unjust ruler, he was still the rightful leader of the Koying Kingdom, so his death still had to be respected by the entire Koying people.

Mantingan keep walking down the beach. The gray sands imprinted his footsteps, before then being flattened again by the waves. The wind was blowing from the west, which somehow King Koying was able to bring the North River Angel from Champa in the opposite direction like this.

“Come here ...”

The Mantin stopped stepping when the Science of Hearing Dew Drops caught a whisper from a distance. He looked in one direction: the tip of the island to the east!
