CHANGES in the attitude of the warriors who usually antagonize each other but now just copyh throw help and hospitality so obvious in the Love Concert.
Did Koying really want to change the old attitude of martial artists? Wouldn't that way, the Sky Stakeholders as the martial well guards would act immediately to deal with this kind of move?
The mantan only returned to the swordsman who offered that help, Chitra Anggini also did the same. After that, they went hand in hand following the warrior's steps.
“Truly changed,” said Chitra Anggini who seems to have realized what Mantingan realized. “Even in college silat though, competition is common so that the attitude of help-help is not a must, but in the Love Concert it all seems to disappear entirely.”
Mantingan did not know what to respond, so he said, “Stay be wary no matter how the atmosphere.”
Indeed, often a protracted atmosphere can make the swordsman lose his vigilance. That is one of the reasons why the fight in twilight is so avoided, because the beauty of the twilight shade can make the eyes of the swordsman become captivated to him and not to the opponent who is in combat!
It is only natural that Mantingan asked Chitra Anggini to remain vigilant. The martial world can never be separated from the deceitful wiles. What should be seen is often invisible, and what should not be seen is often seen.
After walking a short distance from the starting place, Mantingan and Chitra Anggini can see a large field at the end of the road. Several large-sized halls were seen standing at the site, but even so the field still provided a very large empty space.
“This field is usually used for training soldiers,” said Chitra Anggini by not reducing his walking speed. “Especially for training archer soldiers and other long-range weapons, but not infrequently also used to train cavalry and pedestrian troops.”
“Where are those teams now?” Mantian asked.
“That's what I'm surprised about anyway. Supposedly, a place like the Thousand House Palace Environment was always filled to the brim, but I saw that there were quite a number of empty houses. Where would they go?”
If Mantingan and Chitra Anggini ask each other for the same thing, how can they find the answer?
“But, sooner or later we will find out,” said Mantingan gave a little hope, “and just hope it will not be bad.”
The halls in the Grand Courtyard of the Thousand Palace Houses numbered ten, and each of them had been divided based on the plots of housing that were there. The mantan, Chitra Anggini, and his neighbors occupy the hall on the southwest side because they all live in the same plot.
The hall was full of short tables on which there were some food hoods, but there were no benches in the place so the warriors sat down melaseh. And as always, Mantingan with Chitra Anggini chose a table located in the corner.
Chitra Anggini eagerly opened the entire hood of the service. His eyes widened when he saw the pieces of grilled meat and some types of vegetables presented in front of him. His stomach that had been unfilled from the night immediately rebelled with a roar.
Mantingan simply shook his head and chose to pay attention to the surroundings first before actually touching the dish.
It was seen that some warriors were forced to take off their masks because they had to eat food, but some other masked swordsman couples chose to leave the hall rather than have to unmask, it is very likely that they have their own supplies that have been alerted to deal with this situation.
Fortunately Mantingan and Chitra Anggini use a mask that only covers the eyes, forehead, and part of their cheeks, so both can still put food into the mouth without the need to remove the mask.
The mantle stroked his chin and smiled faintly. Whether to consider the Kingdom of Koying cunning or intelligent, but he knows for sure that the breakfast activity in this hall is a strategy of Koying to reveal the identity of masked warriors without seeming pushy. But apparently, they did not take into account the unusual type of mask worn by Mantingan and Chitra Anggini.
“If they leave the hall, they could be in the eyesight of the eagle.”
“Western said, they were the target fish of a hungry eagle flying in the sky to search for them. But unfortunately, the fish are too stupid to choose to swim near the surface of the water, while they should hide in the mud. The eyes of the eagle are watching and eyeing them, only a matter of time until he dived sharply and breathed the fish when they were not alert. Do you understand what I mean?”
The mantang nodded his head. He clearly understood that it was possible that most of the masked warriors who chose to leave the hall rather than have to unmask were royal fugitives or intruders. Chitra Anggini likened the royal spy to an eagle flying in the sky.
“No need to mess with them, look at these meats!”
The mantan then turned towards the dish on the table that was in front of him. His kiss caught a distinctive aroma on the grilled meat.
“This is buffalo meat.” Mantingan shook his head many times. Although he has not said it directly, but the look on his face has hinted at a refusal to eat the meat.
“Whatever why?” chitra Anggini asked with a kernyit on her forehead.
“I remembered Munding, and anyway I had promised him not to eat buffalo meat.”
After Mundingan became his best friend and even saved his life once, how could Mantingan enjoy eating buffalo meat?
Munding has a cleverness that can be said to almost match the teenage human child, his feelings will certainly be hurt if he finds out that Mantingan eats the meat of similar animals with him.
“Munding ...” Chitra Anggini stared at the grilled buffalo meat in front of him with a bad face. “Ah, at least I can still eat the vegetables.”
But unexpectedly, the girl poured the entire vegetable dish into her plate without leaving even a hint for Mantingan, making the young man so shocked was not a trick!
“I only take enough,” said Chitra Anggini with a big smile. “If you want, then take it on my plate. I don't mind if we eat together.”
The mantle shook slowly before taking out something from within the pocket of his robe. It was a piece of fish jerky that seemed to have been processed so that it could be eaten immediately!
“Hei! You hid that from me?” Chitra Anggini did not accept because for him a piece of fish jerky will be much better than a plate of vegetables that taste bad.
“If I intend to hide it from you, then I will not show this jerky in front of you. Chitra, you're so greedy.” Mantingan again shook his head, he still did not suspect that there were women who could behave like Chitra Anggini.
