The Musafir

The Musafir
Chitra Anggini's Oath

MANTINGAN and Chitra Anggini occupy a bench located at the end of the ward. It is not a matter of wanting to monitor without being monitored, but indeed there are not many benches left for them. Officers are still working on preparing the bench. The guests who came at this show were completely out of the ordinary.

In front of the two young men, there was a table that stretched long until it touched both sides of the ward. A variety of foods fill the table. Bebuahan, jawawut, meat, and even tod. Almost complete.

However, neither of them wanted to touch the food or drink. Nor is it a matter of being too cautious, afraid that the dishes have been laced with poison, but indeed not tasteful. Of course this morning's conversation, in which Chitra Anggini confessed his feelings even though not directly, will never be so easily forgotten.

Now, when the two must sit next to each other and present themselves as lovers, then it is inconceivable how awkward they both are.

Mantingan prefers to listen to everything that is going on around him, as well as the main event that takes place on stage.

That event is actually the peak of the Love Event after walking for five days. On the stage, the swordsmen couples who have had their turn will make two great choices: to settle down and serve in the palace; or continue their wanderings in the martial world without any attachment to the Koying Union.

For the pair of warriors who choose to serve in the palace, they will be awarded a pair of swords bearing the Koying Unit as an image or marker that they have officially become court servants. Here are all the correspondence they should take care of as soon as possible, avoiding the possibility if their minds change.

As for the pair of warriors who chose to come out, they would be given a badge of appreciation as well as some of the best small weapons forging blacksmiths in the entire Koying, he said, making Spells could not help but suspect that the weapons were made by Tapa Balian.

The entire pair of warriors present in the Thousand House Palace Courtyard had made their respective choices from the very beginning. Their hearts have remained. But in fact, Mantingan and Chitra Anggini did not make any choice. Indeed, before there was not the slightest talk about these two great choices, because without agreement they both knew that they did not need to choose at all.

The chaos mentioned by the Dark Lord would occur before they could be summoned to the stage to make a choice. That's sure!

For the sake of remembering this, the entire chest of Mantingan reverberated. It was as if someone had deliberately summoned a storm into the young man's rib cage.

No matter how strong a Mantingan is, he will remain agitated in the face of the current circumstances. It is the same feeling as when the warship Tarumanagara took him sailing to face the vandals in the north sea of Javadvipa, which would certainly be the most historic victory in the leadership of Sri Punawarman.

Mantingan returned to face such circumstances, also with all the same anxious feelings and anxious expectations, as if the god of death whispered to him that death had been set for an instant again.

The atmosphere around was certainly still crowded, but with all the contemplation, Mantingan actually felt a silence like nothing else that could be more silent than that. Fortunately, it was not long before Chitra Anggini broke the silence by saying something unexpected at all.

“No need to worry about anything,” said the woman. “Everything we face together. Sweet alike enjoyed; bitter equally swallowed. I swear to live with you.”

Mantingan looked into the eyes of Chitra Anggini without hesitation, with great goals, and also sharp. How he did not expect the woman to take such a heavy oath; an oath that should not be spoken at all for a lifetime. Oath solemnly!

However it is, and however it may be, the Mantingan is completely unable to accept the oath.

“Chitra—”

“Enough, shut up.” Chitra Anggini cut off the remark, which had not even become a sentence. “When I have said the oath with full awareness also with careful consideration, then there is no reason whatsoever for me to pull it back.”

Mantingan. When someone sees his face, they can truly feel how much regret there is in it.

Doesn't that mean, Chitra Anggini will end his own life when Mantingan dies? How great the sacrifice, which is now even too great.

As a Sky Stakeholder, especially with the great task of hunting down Gembangmas, Mantan had so many possibilities to die. It is not the case that his death can be useful to many people, but how can he be calm if Chitra Anggini will also die once he dies?

Not dry his tears by the sacrifice of Dara, now he has to bear again the sacrifice of Chitra Anggini.

Vibrantly, also trembling, Mantingan asked, “How can I pay for all this?”

Chitra Anggini looked at the young man, but only for a moment, before shaking his head softly, like the oath could not be redeemed with anything.

note:

I apologize for not updating over the past few weeks. To be honest, I am writing an English script for a global audience, with a completely different language style than the Musafir. So as I write this, I feel like I'm back home, where my true style of language can be played, but how much less can I behave that way. Where there is fertile soil, there I planted seeds and water regularly. I hope you can understand.

As a final note, I have thrown out a bunch of handwriting from the ending of the Musafir that feels less fitting. So, actually I never left this script completely.

Thank ye.
