The Musafir

The Musafir
Buying Buffalo

The mantan only shook his head a few times before taking out a bundle of gold chips inside his coffers. Soon he threw it at the farmer who was blackmailing him. Mantingan's eyes looked around before stopping at one of the grey buffalo in the corner of the cage.

“Sahaya choose that one buffalo.” Mantangan.

The rancher faded a wide smile that was accidentally created after he managed to get fifty pieces of gold, before looking at the buffalo designated Mantingan.

“Awak better not buy that buffalo. Choose another buffalo.”

The RANCHER shook his head several times with a wry smile clearly imprinted on his face.

“The buffalo you chose is not very healthy. Every day always crumbs in the corner of the cage, rarely eat, do not want to make friends, and many other things that are not at all good. I have been willing to slaughter it today.”

“Sahaya will still grab that buffalo.” Mantingan smiled faintly and said as if the warning from the rancher was completely meaningless to him.

The farmer could only breathe a long breath before walking up to the buffalo. “I feel guilty for giving an unhealthy buffalo crew. But how else, if your will is already like this. Daku will not receive a refund if this buffalo dies in a short time.”

The buffalo was then pulled a little forcefully out of the cage, while Mantingan followed the farmer right behind him with his eyes looking at the buffalo.

“Do you also want to buy saddle for buffalo?”

The coach thought for a while to decide. It is about comfort in travel. Is it with the addition of a saddle, he will be more comfortable when riding the buffalo? As is known, the back of the buffalo has been wide enough to make the legs hurt.

After careful thought, Mantingan finally bought a saddle for his car. He thought that it would be very good if the saddle was there, it was possible that it would provide comfort for himself and also for the buffalo he was riding.

“Two gold pieces.” The farmer grinned wide. “But since you have bought an unhealthy buffalo, it is only to you that the saddle will I take off for one piece of gold. How?”

The mantan nodded his head before throwing a piece of gold from inside his coffers. The farmer caught him quickly.

“Well, you wait here while keeping the buffalo from running anywhere. Daku will take the saddle I intended and return as soon as possible.” The farmer did not wait for an answer from Mantingan when he tethered the buffalo bridle to one of the mooring poles in the middle of the field. He then ran away leaving Mantingan with his shoulders just like that.

Meanwhile, the Mantingan began to approach the buffalo that was valued at fifty pieces of gold. It is seen from top to bottom; from front to back. Then Mantingan displayed a sad smile. How true it is that in appearance, this buffalo is much worse than other buffalo. However, Mantingan was able to read a sign about why this buffalo looked unhealthy. Therefore, Mantingan insisted to keep buying the buffalo that one.

“You will soon be adventuring and seeing the world, Friend.” Wide smiling coat “Isn't that what you want?”

Of course the buffalo will not understand what words Mantingan just said. However, Mantingan did not want to show his good intentions with words, but rather with his direct actions.

The buffalo is really different from other buffalo—other than from its much closer appearance, the adventurous desire is too great, too, so that no one can accept the fact that he is confined in a cage without being able to go anywhere. That is what then makes the buffalo seem to have lost the spirit of life. The mantan is able to see all that only from the exchange of views that only last for one eye shock.

The owner of the farm returned shortly afterwards with a saddle in his hand. He smiled when he saw Mantingan who rubbed the dirty buffalo without the slightest disgust—because indeed Mantingan smiled widely when doing activities that should be very disgusting.

“In this saddle there has been a brush to rub the body of the buffalo, so you do not need to use your hands anymore.” The farmer deftly fastened the saddle to the buffalo's back. “Get your luggage, let me help you pair.”

The mantan did not mind to trouble the breeder a little. Shouldn't someone who wants to do good not be hindered? After all, Mantingan considering how much the rancher had racked up a little bit of his money, so bothering him with a little work did not seem to be a problem.

So that's how Mantingan began to lower all the luggage transported by his body. Starting from the bundle that is large; then Golek Soul that has a large weight; before ending on both swords, namely the Sword Kiai Kedai and the Sword Savrinadeya.

Of course, with the ability he has now, the Mantingan will not waste the two heirloom swords he has. Fighting with full mastery over two swords would give him a lot of advantages. The sword of Kiai Kedai which had been broken into two pieces was still wrapped in its sheath; while the Savrinadeya Sword is wrapped in a sheet of cloth because however the sword does not have a sheath to protect the blade from everything that can be dangerous or dangerous.

The bundle is tied just behind the buffalo saddle, while Golek Jiwa hangs on the side of the buffalo's back because it is not too large but has a heavy weight, which is quite heavy, so it is felt to be troublesome buffalo if Golek Soul is placed on his back. While two sword Mantingan tucked on a leather rope in the saddle that is devoted to highlight the sword.

“Completed already.” The farmer clapped his hand once. “Wak be careful on the road. Many rebels lost the war to Javadvipa who fled to this island, as I was telling you earlier. I don't know what caused them to be displaced since losing the war five months ago.”

“Thank you for the warning. Sahaya will be careful.” The mantle jumped up on the back of his shoulder. “Thank you for the cab.”

So that's how Mantingan moved away from the farm after heaving his kerb cord.

MANTINGAN gazed at the vast grassland with an orange sky. Time has entered twilight. Indeed, there is almost no difference in the view of twilight in Javadvipa or in Suvarnadvipa. However, dusk is still orange twilight and dimness, so that sometimes it displays something that does not exist and actually hides something that does not exist, so it is very natural that warriors in the martial world avoid fighting when dusk has arrived.

The mantle took off a roll of white cloth wrapped around his artificial arm. Of course, from now on he covered the shape of the wooden arm with a winding of cloth, because however it is not natural if someone has a wooden arm that is able to move like a real arm. With the winding of the cloth wrapping the artificial arm, The mantle can display as if it were a real arm covered in cloth for a reason that is not so important as to provoke the curiosity of others.
