The Musafir

The Musafir
Border Town

THE COMPANY FILLED supplies in the border town. Despite having arrived at the Mount Kubang region, they still needed at least two more days to arrive at the White Wind Institution.

Mantingan was determined not to waste the sacrifice of Jakawarman's good name, so from now on he will not play around anymore.

Mantingan got off the horse carriage to help the group buy supplies. Seeing Mantingan as if getting his spirit back, everyone in the entourage was excited.

MANTINGAN WENT with Cana into the city. A sheet of thrower contained a list of items that he specifically had to buy stored inside his robe.

Kana tightened the wooden sword ties on her back and showed her a big smile on Mantingan, “Kakanda, you will really buy me a metal sword, right?”

The mantang nodded his head. “I think you need a sharper sword. But remember, I bought you a sword solely so that you could protect Kina, not for any other purpose.”

“That's a small matter, I'll protect Kina with all my body and soul if I get her sword.” Kana says relax. “But where would Kakanda buy me a sword? Along the road we passed earlier, I did not see any outlets selling swords.”

The mantle shrugged his shoulders. “We'll see later.”

The city is quite crowded. Trade takes place almost all over the streets. Horses and buffalo pedicures run slowly in the middle of the road. The atmosphere is full of civilization. Traders peddle their merchandise by shouting, while buyers bid the trade by shouting as well. Be noise.

The smell of food was mixed with the smell of sweat from the passing market workers and rotten vegetables. It is difficult to predict whether the stomach is hungry or just about to vomit.

Mantingan and Kana continued walking forward. The mantan pulls out a sheet of throwers inside his robe to double-check what items need to be found to buy.

“For items like this not to be sold in this market. We have to go deeper into.” The mantan said slowly, as if he was saying to himself. Nevertheless, Kana could still hear him.

“Kakanda no need to worry, even to the end of the city though, I am ready to accompany.” Kana said spirit. Obviously he felt very happy if invited to walk into a crowded city like this.

The mantan only responded with a smile. He knew that Cana preferred to be around civilization rather than the uninhabited wilderness. So he deliberately slowed down his path so that the child could enjoy the city more.

Then he said after seeing the traders who peddle various snacks on the roadside, “You can taste some snacks here, just say if you.”

“That's so embarrassing to me, Kakanda. Men like me, shouldn't be spent by others.” Kana scratched her head that was not itchy. “Kakanda just buy it for Kina. For me, let me buy myself using my own money anyway.”

The mantel raised his eyebrows. “You have money, Kana?”

“No,” answered with a big smile. “But I can earn money after helping you shop, right?”

The mantan could only smile wryly.

As the two increasingly entered the city, the atmosphere began to slip. There were no more food merchants by the road, and not many manual laborers passing by. However, there are still many buffalo that attract pedati.

Shop buildings lined the side of the road. These shops replaced the small merchants on the side of the road. The mantan smiled faintly, feeling confident of getting the items he was looking for in this place.

The first store that Mantingan came to was the herb shop. The items he would buy were orders from the North River Angel. Mantingan immediately read out his order after getting a turn.

After Mantingan finished reading out his order, the seller in front of him looked mangosteen a few times before saying, “Sahaya has some potions from the one Child mentioned. But that's only a fraction of what the Son has mentioned, most of which are not available in this store. Does the Child want to keep buying existing potions?”

The seller goes back to the payment table and mentions what he gets and how much it costs. After mentioning the price, Mantingan immediately put nine pieces of gold on the table.

“Father, where could I possibly get potions that are not here?”

The seller stroked his chin and was silent for a while, before finally answering, “This city is holding an auction. And if my old ears do not hear wrong, they will also auction off herbs and spices. Maybe you are interested in going there? The event took place this morning, it might have been about to start.”

“Where is the auction place, Mr?” Mantingan decided to keep trying as much as possible to get the goods ordered by North River Angel. After all, he was not in a hurry. The new group will continue the journey tonight.

“There is in a large building. And the building is located right behind this shop. As the Child rotates far away, it is better for the Child to pass through the back door only.” The potion seller offered in a friendly manner.

“Mr, that's not polite ..”

“Let the danger be between, let's.”

The seller did not wait for Mantingan's reply, he turned around and walked straight away. Mantingan could not refuse the offer again, so he hurried to ask Cana to follow the seller.

The potion shop was not very big, so they quickly reached the back of the shop. The potion seller opened the door with a big smile.

“Child look at that big building.” He pointed to a large building that was only a few spears from where they were. “That's where it is.”

The mantan nodded his head slowly. When viewed from its size, the building is presumably devoted to various members of various large events. A living fence surrounded the building. There is also a plot of land full of grass to tether horses and buffalo.

Several people were seen entering the building from the east. Maybe that's where the entrance is. Mantingan sincerely expressed his gratitude to the potion seller. Then walk towards the big building with Kana.

“Do you really want to go to auction?”

With certainty, Mantingan nodded his head.

“Ah, if so ...daku will wait at that place.” Kana pointed to a long seat near the building. “Later if you have finished, do not forget that I am there.”

The mantle frowned. “What do you mean, Kana? Aren't you interested in getting into the auction?”

“Of course I'm interested. But it seemed, the entrance fee into the auction was too expensive. I'm afraid of burdening Kakanda.”

Mantingan actually let go of his laughter, becoming the first laugh he let out since the last three days. “What are you, Cana. You think I'm gonna leave you out here? Your mind is wrong, Kana. I will no longer leave my friend just like that.”
