Annabelle Ghost Doll

The Annabelle doll in the horror film "Annabelle" bears a resemblance to the real-world ghost doll, Raggedy Ann.

The film "Annabelle" tells the story of a husband, John, who gives a porcelain doll in a white dress to his wife, Mia, who is pregnant with their first child.

The beautiful doll later wreaked havoc after their neighbor's daughter, Annabelle, committed suicide while holding the doll. The doll was named Annabelle because it was possessed by Annabelle's spirit.

The film "Annabelle" is indeed prepared to win the title of the creepiest film of the year. Since the appearance of a glimpse of Annabelle ghost doll in the movie "The Conjuring" last year, the Warner Bros production house has known how the presence of Annabelle was able to grab the attention of millions of pairs of viewers.

That's the story in the film that is certainly only a mere concoction. But, did you know that those vintage porcelain dolls in white bridal dresses actually exist?

To the Latin Post reported by Guardianlv, Tuesday (7/10/2014), the director of the film "Annabelle" leaked the results of his interview with the family of Ed Warren, the original owner of Annabelle dolls.

The doll, whose real name is Raggedy Ann, is now housed in a glass cabinet in the museum that Ed and Lorraine Warren founded in 1952, named the Warren Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut. Warren's family believes that until now the doll is inhabited by demons.

The true story of Raggedy Ann's doll set three pennies with Annabelle. Both make the fur stand up.

Raggedy Ann dolls were first discovered in the 70s when a mother bought them at a flea market. He gave the doll to his daughter, Donna. Donna lives in an apartment with a friend, Angie.

Donna then calls the priest to find out if the doll is really haunted. Apparently, the apartment where Donna and Angie lived, was standing on a field where a girl was killed many years ago. The girl is known as Annabelle. That is why the priest also believes that Raggedy Ann is possessed by the spirit of the murdered girl.

The priest tells Donna and Angie that the doll is harmless. The doll was harmless at first, but one incident made the two no longer believe the priest's words.

Annabelle's spirit gradually tries to communicate with Donna and Angie. The two girls found pieces of paper that read "Help Me" (help me). Later, the doll also attacks Donna's lover who wants to enter the room where Raggedy Ann is kept.

Donna then asked the priest once again to come to her house. The priest then suggests meeting with the paranormal and the scientist who studies the devil, Ed Warren and his wife, the psychic priest, Lorraine Warren.

According to the Warren family, Raggedy Ann does not contain a female ghost spirit named Annabelle. Instead, the doll has been possessed by an evil demon who wants to bring bad influence to Donna. In fact, the demon didn't want a doll, but Donna's life. Donna is obviously terrified and no longer wants to own the doll. Then Warren's couple brought the doll to his house.

There, Warren often saw the doll flying and hovering. That's why Raggedy Ann has been locked in a glass cabinet.

The history behind Annabelle in the film is not the same as the true story of Raggedy Ann told by Warren. However, the two puppets had a common thread, equally horror!
