Title: Triangle Love
_________________________
'I know, Move On is not as easy as turning a palm. But, as long as you have strong intentions. I'm sure you'll make it..' ' Ana '
Abby knocks her fingers on a wooden table decorated with pen scratches, forming a more suitable series of words called cheat. That morning the Mathematics Teacher was still busy roaring in front of the class, explaining the material about the circle that was able to make the head break. Circles that a Kindergarten child can make, but why have a variety of strange formulas. Not to mention the questions in the package book are super complicated. Can't they make a matter that goes straight into the core? There's no need to come here before you explain the whole point about it. Many times his gaze glanced towards the wall clock in front of the class, just above the brown-framed white board that was now full of various zeros to nine that were strung irregularly.
'Well, until here we had our meeting. Don't forget to solve these problems..' He finally closed his study hours, just a second after the break bell rang. Abby breathed heavily. He rushed to tidy up his mathematical books scattered on the wooden table.
Meanwhile, his other best friend had already sauntered out of the classroom, towards the extra room each. Now the class is empty, only a board of numbers accompanies it. He brought out his sketchbook. Books filled with pencil strokes form the scratches of the human face. Is beautiful. Both of his eyebrows were thick, his two eyes were looking somewhere, as well as his wide smile. Abby flinched when she realized the clock was already showing at half-eleven in the afternoon. Today, his class will be up against the next class in a football match. He rushed to put his sketchbook in his bag, then waltzed off to the football field.
Students in grades 8C and 8B now meet along the sides of the field. A swarm of pupils with red varsity jackets and white sleeves with the 8C emblem on the left chest is now spreading on the right side of the field.
It turned out that the match had already started fifteen minutes ago, and no one had scored yet. The match took place sportively, decorated with cheers from the audience who spread. Abby's gaze was fixed on the figure of a young man who was similar to the figure in his sketchbook. The sweat soaked his white face that was hit by the daylight. Abby took out her SLR camera, then started aiming at the object.
'That was photographed not just Adi, the other photo is also.' said Avi.
'Uh, I just took a little picture of it. After all, he deserves a lot of attention. He is our class leader. He's the one who always makes our class win the inter-class race..' Avi just chuckled. Abby ignored. He turned back to the objects in front of him.
'Today there is no extra?' Abby just shook her head. He was busy shooting objects in front of him.
The match was over, 8C came out as winners with a score of 4-2 and will take part in the final race next week, against the class of 9F.
To celebrate, all 8C students choose to ditch the extra and rush to the Green Cafe with their own vehicles.
'Come on, just order! Today we are the tract.' cried Adi as a representative of his football team friends. All in all with enthusiasm immediately ordered their own food. Unlike Abby, she prefers to order a glass of capuccino and sit alone in the corner of the room. As usual, he took out his SLR. Look at the photos he managed to shoot. His gaze was fixed on a photo where Adi was shouting happily after penetrating the opponent's goal.
'Hey, Abby. You didn't order food?' That sound.. Abby raised her head. A tall young man was now standing before him. Strange vibrations began to be felt in Abby's body. His heart beat faster.
'I'm not hungry' he said, then turned his face away. A red tinge now enveloped his stark yellow face. He really could not afford to stare at Adi's two eye beads.
'Oh, can I see your photos?' Abby just nodded. He handed his SLR to Adi who suddenly sat in the chair in front of him. The empty chair is now filled by Adi, the idol of his heart. Abby speaks a thousand languages. He prefers to sip his capuccino which is now getting cold.
'Look at this! My face is ridiculous!' He laughed with both eyes focused on the SLR screen. Abby can guess if now Adi is looking at his picture when going to pass the ball, his expression is strange and tickling. Suddenly, Adi directs the camera lens, and quickly takes aim at Abby's plain face.
'Fuck! I don't like photos.' Abby said upset. He again took a sip of his capuccino which is now only a quarter left.
'No like? But you're beautiful when you're photographed. Abby's lips curl up. Her face flushed. He just looked down.
'Thank you,'
The new student distracts the students of the class. Her skin was white, her long black hair was unraveled, her irises were dark brown, as well as a simple knot on her lips. Sweet. Abby just smiled at the girl. He knows her very well. His old friend was forced to change schools because of his parents. Destiny did indeed separate them, and now fate also brought the two back together.
'You can sit, there's a lot of empty seats here. Please choose where to sit..' Again the girl just smiled. Without hesitation, his foot stepped on an empty bench, right next to Abby's bench. The teacher who had taken him walked away, returned to the teacher's office.
'Vina?' scold Abby. The girl smiled back.
'Hey, Abby! We finally meet again. Miss you. For ten years we have not met. I've really kept my promise to come back, haven't I?' yells. Abby hugged Vina.
'You are so beautiful, ' Abby praised. Vina just blushed. Before long, a young man casually entered the classroom. Although the teacher who was about to teach had yet to appear, the bell had rang fifteen minutes.
'You're this! It's always late! Delete your name in your journal and board! I do not take care of it anymore, ' said Abel growled. The young man only gave him a quick glance, he took the eraser board and deleted his own name. Then grab a black marker and cross out his name listed in the journal. He also walked back to his bench.
'Vina?' Adi stopped next to Vina. His gaze dimmed.
'Ha.. Hi Adi.' replied Vina awkwardly. Adi shook his head quickly, he smiled stiffly, then walked back to his stool right across from Vina's bench. Abby simply raised the tip next to her eyebrow, confused by what had just happened. However, he did not want to bother. He was again busy completing 'more precisely cheating'Pr Physics his.
Today Abby and Adi went to the photo studio to print photos of their choice that Abby managed to shoot during a ball game three days ago. Both of them were silent as they waited for their photos to become. They sat on a row of empty chairs on the right side of the room. The place looked crowded by visitors this afternoon.
'You know Vina?' ask Abby awkwardly. He really could not control his curiosity about Vina and Adi. It had taken hold of his mind since yesterday after school, right after seeing Vina and Adi coming home from school together.
'He..' Adi hung up his sentence. He took his own salivary. His face was now lowered, and his gaze was dimmed again.
'My first love, ' he continued. Like being struck by high-powered lightning, like being hit by thousands of needles that precisely point at the heart. Breath choked. Vina. A girl who was his little friend turned out to be the first love of his heart. And from Adi's gaze, Abby was already able to conclude that Adi still harbored that taste for Vina.
Silence now envelops both. Adi is busy looking away, remembering her past while with Vina. While Abby was silent, the pain still enveloped her body.
Soon, their photos were finished. After paying, Adi immediately drove Abby home in a car driven by his personal driver.
Lately the relationship between Abby and Vina has been strained. Unlike most old friends who meet again, Abby prefers to hang out with her new best friend. While Vina finally chose to play with other students.
It's been a week Abby's been away. He never even greeted Vina. Not being selfish, but he did not want the pain to continue languishing in his body. He was not strong enough to withstand the pain that continued to spread every time his eyes were presented with a scene between Adi and Vina.
'Let it be Adi, there are still many other men? Why do you hold everything? I didn't mean to discourage you, but I think Adi just liked Vina. He sees you as a friend. Open your eyes wide, open your heart! Don't get caught up in the past. Adi and Vina are just your past now.
'Maybe there's a point, ' Abby took out her iced orange. The school cafeteria is getting quieter.
'I know, Move On is not as easy as turning a palm. But, as long as you have strong intentions. I'm sure you'll make it.' added Ana . Abby just smiled thinly. He glanced towards the watch that was coiled around his right wrist.
'We better get to class. If we're late, that Biology Master will give us an extra hour!' exclaim Abby.
Abby flinching. His tongue feels ugly. Face heated. Tears began to pour out from both of her eyelids. Now all 8C students are busy looking at Adi who is expressing her feelings for Vina. In fact, the windows and doors were now filled with heads and pairs of eyes peering towards the two of them. Vina nodded for sure. Smile them.
'Abby, ' Avi stroked his best friend's shoulder which started to shake. Abby bit her lower lip. Trying to hold back his stuffing. He is weak. Quickly, Abby ran to the now deserted toilet. He went into an empty room, locked it tightly, and sat down on the closed seat.
His cries broke, filling the silence inside that quiet toilet. Now it just sounds like a joke. The pain re-emerged into his body.
'Abby, get out.. Okay, don't be sad. We're still here. It's free you spend your tears only on a guy like him. It's no use!' Abel knocked repeatedly on the locked door.
'Don't cry, Abby. If your eyes are swollen later, the whole class will be suspicious!' tegur Adel. His other best friend immediately looked at him with a sharp look.
After being quiet enough, Abby opened the council room, then went out to her friends. His long black hair was now in disarray, his face was filled with the remains of tears, his eyes were puffy. Avi took out her handkerchief, then handed it to Abby.
After tidying up Abby's appearance, they rushed back to the classroom. Dozens of students in the class cast astonished gazes at Abby who had reddened eyes.
'Why are you, Abby?' ask Vina. His tone illustrated that he looked worried.
'I'm fine, ' Abby smiled stiffly. He walked back through Vina who was still in her place.
Too many tears fell for Adi. The young man was not created for him. It's time for Abby to step back and let her be happy with her chosen girl. Abby tidied up her closet, stuffed her clothes and belongings into suitcases and large used boxes. Abby chose to move to Bandung with her parents. Now his view is directed at a row of photo frames containing pictures of Adi in each match. Abby smiled thinly. He grabbed all the photos, then with a heavy heart put in a box that read 'used goods' that he had previously prepared. The items will be stored in the attic during his departure to Bandung.
It crossed Abby's mind, before leaving she had to meet Adi first. He did not want his feelings to continue lodging in his heart. He had to reveal all of that so that nothing else would overload his mind. And once successful, he will try his best to forget the young man and his memories.
That Sunday, Abby knew exactly where Adi was that day. With steady steps, he dashed towards an abandoned old building that was behind the school. Every Sunday, Adi was always on top of the building to reflect. With enthusiasm, Abby stepped up her legs up dozens of stairs that led up.
Sure enough, now in front of him was a young man who was busy aiming at the objects in front of him. His white skin seemed to shine in the morning sun.
'Adi.' Admonished Abby. Adi looked over, then smiled briefly.
'What's up? Tumben you're here..' Adi was again busy aiming at the object in front of him.
'I want to say something important, ' replied Abby who is now sitting right next to Adi.
'Speak it,'
'I like you.' said Abby steadily. Adi bergeming's. He put down his camera and looked at Abby. His gaze felt shady. Then, a simple knot was seen adorning his lips.
'I like you too, ' he said. Abby scrunched her forehead, her eyes narrowed.
'But I like you as a friend. I love you as someone who is always beside me, as a friend. Abby just smiled wryly. He looked up at the beautiful blue morning sky.
'I'm sorry, ' he continued. Abby shook her head slowly. Now his gaze was fixed on the swarm of birds flying in the sky forming a line.
'No need, I know you will never be able to return my feelings. I just want to reveal all that, I'm tired of always keeping it deep. At least now I'm relieved to have told you the truth.' Abby said.
'Tonight I will move to Bandung. I hope you're okay with Vina..' Abby moved from her seat.
'I'm sorry once again..' Adi pulls Abby, then hugs her. A hug that is only limited to a regular hug for friends as an expression of separation. Abby let go of the hug, she smiled stiffly, then waltzed away leaving Adi.
Abby rushed to open the door of her house which was knocked on. Suddenly he saw a young man before him. Her skin was white, her body was several centi taller than Abby, her hair was black, her red lips were now smiling with dimples decorating her. The young man of Korean-Indonesian blood now handed a box of sponge to Abby.
'I'm Didi, this is from my mother. I wish we could be good friends! Welcome to Bandung. If you want, I want to invite you to go around to interesting places..'
'thank you, really? I want!' exclaim Abby. Now it feels like Adi has been eliminated by this young man in front of him. The young man who might be someone God created for him, and would definitely be better than Adi.
the End - The End
