Save yourself in that stupid battle, Sofia remains fearless! Stop that!' yell Amanda her best friend. What Sofia heard was just a voice of heart and emotion, she just wanted to prove a small thing that she should not care about. 'sof! I beg you, we have to get out of here, ' said Amanda, the baseball bat moving like a crushing machine in Sofia's hands, what she saw was just a horde of schoolchildren ready to take the hit.
'no! I will not stop!, he said for the first time in his life he became a rebel and maybe now he will be included in the group of naughty teenagers. 'we can die,' whispered Amanda who had earlier taken refuge behind Sofia, 'I say once again, you better go and let me here, ' Sofia shouted in the middle of the student brawl. 'oh?' Amanda almost fainted because she began to see the crowd like a puff of smoke. 'I will prove that death can't hit me, ' Sofia shouted again before she left amanda and moved again cruelly. There's a friend who keeps his shadow in those fights 'you know? as long as I am near you I will be as lucky as you, ' said the girl before laughing.
Sofia, nicknamed 'the lucky person' by those around her, is a matter between life and destiny that begins to control her mind. One says that life is like a spin of a wheel, sometimes you are on top and sometimes you are on the bottom, another says that life is like a painting, the color pattern is the dark part and the bright part. In essence they mean life is made up of both sides, good and bad. Have you ever felt that every side of your life is always good? Have you ever been saved in the demands of a fate of grief, as if you were bound within the limits of a destiny of happiness?
Fate binds him in a harmonious series of stories that make him not afraid of death, such as when he is fine after eating poisonous food in addition to many people who seek salvation. Of course not only that there is a big thing that again makes him think, a few days ago a big fire hit residential residents in the area of the soap factory, the south is the worst but unfortunately death cannot devour it, again, when it is there when everyone is not saved. The weirdness has continued for the past two years after the death of his mother, with some people beginning to respond,
'i can't believe why you're so lucky, but I think it's just a suggestion of saving from your own mind, some scientists prove that in the human mind there are laws stronger than the universe, that's the law of attraction, and I'm sure it's just a suggestion, ' said Kara, another good friend.
'Yes, shouldn't I worry too much about this strange thing, if it doesn't come from my own mind?, ' he said trying to influence kara, not if it came from my own mind, maybe Kara can slightly improve her words that what she experienced was not just a suggestion in her mind.
It's still a matter of fate, do you remember that God must have given his best to his servant? That afternoon, already gone from the weekend quarrel of the day before, Sofia attended a school event, more precisely a small celebration. Schoolchildren gather to enjoy the dishes and performances, until that afternoon. The noise is never that bad for Sofia, because what they whisper is about her
'…as there are alien beings encircling his body, do not you feel strange?,' the voice of the girl as usual sounds faint, but he is sure the girl is talking about her luck.
'agree, how could he possibly be so lucky from so many things?!' the other timpal.
'maybe I can find a reason to deny it, but until now I couldn't find any reason for his sick luck, ' said the first girl with a cynical face and full of self-worth.
'uh... I heard in other schools, there is also a child like that, but the difference is that he is not at all lucky' said another who began to draw Sofia into deeper conversation.
'really do? What a pity, ' said another beside his loud laughter.
'yes that is, and the situation looks very bad. You know what her nickname is?' Ask the girl.
'what?, ' the others began to be curious.
'son of the devil, ' he answered.
Sofia is bound to the gossip, whether true or false but she becomes afraid, of course she is afraid of any strangeness in him, she is afraid because she cannot read the way of her life. He was afraid of all the good that was in him, maybe in time the Lord would be angry with him. He finds out who the 'son of the devil' is. A few days later, it is not difficult to find out about him, Sofia comes to where she usually spends her free time, and it is the schoolyard. His name is Alex, and he does look bad. You see her always moody, and her eye bags are so clear, her body is tall, and she has no friends, Sofia doesn't dare to imagine the unlucky thing that man is going through, and he's not curious at all.
'hi, ' his initial conversation in the schoolyard, the greeting was barely audible, but what he did was not to throw the man further away as others had done to him. Alex had a piercing glare he took his eyes off his book.
'what?, ' he asked with half a look.
'you know me?' Sofia asked, it was possible that her nickname had spread enough and instead made the man think about injustice, but it seemed that her opening words were very disrespectful.
'no. I don't want to know you anyway, ' he said before returning to his book
'Alex,' Sofia's voice made Alex choked, the first time for her to hear the name was re-named after a long time buried. A few seconds passed in silence 'I can't see you like this, ' Sofia said as she bowed heartlessly. With a face that has been trained to always be flat, Alex moved from his seat.
'what's wrong with you? I don't need pity from anyone, ' he said then left.
Stupidly he was, his years of knowledge could not even make good communication. Somehow all of that happened, he felt responsible to Alex, although he was still a stranger to him, there are things that he later emphasized that he was lucky because it robbed others of their luck that they should not. He comes back every day to see Alex, almost every day to get closer to her, talk to her even so coldly and give her back the feeling of friendship that was long lost in her. Surprisingly a little bit of misfortune disappeared within Alex during his close to Sofia.
'i don't know why you want to be close to me, ' said Alex, at the end of their drive home.
'i guess because we have the same fate, ' Sofia answered, and Alex laughed insipidly. 'you never thought? Why have you been such a bad person for the last two years?, asked Sofia.
'what should I think, isn't it a matter of fate it's none of my business. what I think will have no effect whatsoever.'
'ah... apparently you learn more than me, ' sighed Sofia. 'then you will just shut up with this strange thing?, wait, wait, you can't deny that there's something strange in your life.
'i don't care, I think I'm getting used to it, ' he said.
'alright, but you can't deny that as long as I'm near you a little bit of your messiness disappears?' challenge Sofia to agree.
'yes, then don't stay away from me, ' Alex said without a hint of a smile towards Sofia, alex's face was cold and mysterious and the man's gaze was hard to guess making Sofia distressed or perhaps surprised, his calm gaze like the sun rising from a small ball of long dead.
“ya! I feel like a goddess of luck,” Sofiah said, Alex smiling knot.
“Not a problem,” said.
Sofia showed off her smile “well, good luck,” she said before stepping inside her house, leaving Alex who was starting to feel another seed inside her.
