Title: LINE (Part 1)
_________________________
The number of unemployed in Indonesia is still quite a lot. Whether they are educated or not. And what caused the irony in my mind was, an unemployed and weathered graduate. Not for those who are housewives. Some students end their studies just to be housewives. All right, that's a choice for their lives.
What I'm highlighting here are the men who don't have disabilities and don't work. I think that man is obliged to have a job even though he only pays a small salary. It's not that I legalize stealing and killing.
Because, I myself belong to the class of unemployed undergraduate graduates. I don't like working in the office, not in the lab. Teaching is not my style. Especially in front of the camera. Lack of imagination hit my desire to be an artist, I was not good at dreaming, but always vision.
I only mastered some martial arts. And with that capital, 3 months ago I was filtered into the personal bodyguard of a wealthy family. I was assigned to look after the family's number 2. A woman 2 years older than me. Name's Evi.
He's not an ordinary man. Since the age of 2 years he has been sentenced to be an indigo child. He could not see the ethereal and other beings, but he could foresee through his dreams. His father, a big businessman, used the prophecy to drive his luck and let go of his losses. Its business has expanded to various continents since 8 years ago.
For this reason, he was afraid that something would happen to his daughter. And since 7 years ago, he moved his family to an elite housing estate in this city. He set up a house 'could be said to be a magnificent castle', with a super good security system.
A few years ago, Evi was also given a bodyguard. However, Evi always saw the omen of death in her dreams. Not long after, the bodyguard died. To be honest I myself was a bit horrified by Evi's prophecy. But, for the 3 months I was guarding her, there was no such sign in her dream.
Evi is just a 24-year-old woman, with long brownish-black hair. Eyes that are round and dark black. Her skin is pale white. His lips were also thin, as thin as the color of blood that appeared there. The face is thin, and the body is not too tall. Rarely smiling and talking. Perhaps the initial impression a layman met with him was 'Beautiful, but sinister.'
Once upon a time at the beginning of my work, Evi asked, 'Rey. Do you want to be my bodyguard?'
And I said, 'This is a job I think I deserve.'
'Are you not afraid of death? If someday I see your death dream, what will you do?'
'Are you not afraid of death?'
'Well.. What is this lady, anyway? I asked the same lady... Have there been dead people coming back from here?'
Evi just shook her head with a minimal expression.
'Well, that means death is fun. Until no one wants to come back!' Answer me firmly.
'Hahaha.. Rey, you're a funny guy.' He's laughing. At that moment, I felt my face warm. Maybe my face was red, I might blush when he smiled.
'But, rey, do you know? If we can change the future. We can change your death.'
I'm speechless. 'Do you know that I can predict through my dreams? If one day the dream comes, I can tell it to you, and you can avoid death..'
'Why avoid death?' my many.
'Everyone wants to live longer in this world, Rey. Are you not that?'
'It is best to live to its time limit. Living in the world is not fun either.' 'Then, did the lady never dream about herself?'
After I asked her like that, Evi just stuck around and didn't budge. And I soon passed, continuing my activities.
