Title: Bloody White Rose

He was still there, still standing in his usual place, peddling a set of flowers to everyone who passed by in front of him.

'The flower, Ma'am,'

He repeatedly called out those words. I wish someone would come up to her and buy the flowers she wants today.

'Nobody's buying yet?' manya surprised.

'Eh, you. Why come here again? Want to buy flowers?' tannyanya plain.

'Hm.. But I want a white rose'

'White roses?' He looks confused. 'Isn't that what I'm selling these white roses?' tanyakanya.

'No, it's a red rose.' I replied briefly.

'Red roses?' He was silent for a moment. 'No, it's a white rose. From the smell alone I'm sure.' objection.

I guess this girl is special. When his sense of sight is not functioning properly, his sense of smell works perfectly. Even more sensitive than normal people usually are: He can distinguish clearly between red and white roses only through their aroma.

'You're wrong. It's definitely a red rose. When you don't believe?' I said back to convince him. Even though his guess is right.

'Yes?' said doubt.

'Oh my goodness, I lied to you. What you are selling today is indeed a red rose. If you don't believe it, ask someone else!!' I said with a small smile, holding back the laughter that I could not contain anymore.

He still doesn't believe my words. With the confidence in the special sense of smell, he was determined to prove what he said was true: that what he had now was a white rose not a red rose as I said.

'Excuse me, Mas!!' He stopped a man who was passing in front of him. 'You ask, is this a red rose or a white rose?' tanyanya doubt.

'Red rose.' the man replied briefly as he resumed his journey.

Continued and continued repeatedly he stopped a group of people who passed by in front of him while asking the same question. But the answer he received from everyone he met remained the same, namely red, red and red, until he finally gave up.

'What I said. All you got is a red rose, not a white rose like you said.'

He bowed lethargic, putting his body by folding both knees resting on the soles of the feet and buttocks did not trace the ground.

'Yes, I was wrong, ' he said slowly.

'Yes already, since the flowers you brought today are not sold out, let me buy them all.'

'What? You're gonna buy all?' He looks surprised. 'Don't you want to buy white roses?' he continued with a look of wonder.

'No, not papa. Red roses are also'

The breeze of the night stroked my body softly. The bustle of a group of human children whose faces are no stranger to me gather in an empty room, a former paper mill that has long been unused.

'Where are you, Dai?' greet Typhoon, my friend who is now on top of the pile of used car tires.

'It's none of your business, ' I answered briefly without regard to it and continued walking down the corridor towards the stairs at the end of the room.

'Lu see the blind girl again?' ask the Typhoon following my steps.

'If so, why?' I asked back. Still ignore his existence and keep going straight ahead.

'Well, you're dead nyari, Dai. Don't you realize it's a dragon?' Cyclone inflamed. He hastened his pace to put me first.

'Gue doesn't care!' short answer. 'Lu don't need to worry, I can take care of myself, ' I continued while preceding him back..

'Guess I'm not worried about you. What I fear is that the Dragon to do things that are not the same as the girl' said Typhoon with a louder tone.

Stopped step. Spontaneously I turned a hundred and eighty degrees and looked at him sharply.

'My master finishes the Dragon, if they dare to touch the girl!' face's warming. Angry at the chest suddenly turbulent, this mind does not accept if something happens to the girl.

'Lu selenin? Not wrong? I don't know if we are outnumbered. If you want to die, go ahead!!' Typhoon back inflamed.

I'm speechless. My anger went out and froze.

'You better get away from him!' The Typhoon gave advice. 'If not, you know the consequences yourself!!'

The night is getting late. But it does not necessarily make this building to be deserted uninhabited. Because the night is rolling towards the morning the atmosphere here is even more crowded. Various kinds of human children gather in this place. Good to do mir*s or just spend the night until dawn.

'Dai, how is our land in the South?' ask Tora. Middle-aged man is obese, with a height of 150 cm – He is the highest leader of this genk.

'OK, Bang. Everything is safe, only.' I suddenly shut up. Doubt to continue.

'His men Naga has taken half of the south, Bang' Typhoon connected my broken words.

'Some? Why can?' Tora was surprised.

'They've joined Aray's gang. So their group doubled up' Typhoon is back.

'That's it, Dai?' ask Tora. 'Why didn't you tell me the same from the beginning?!' Tora snaps at me.

'Rubber, Bang' I was silent for a moment. 'But soon I'll definitely grab it' I said a little nervously.

'Seize it? Not for now, Dai. Our strength is still not enough to face them. Moreover, they have conspired with Aray's group. It's gonna be harder.' Sure.'

'How else do we have to do, Bang?' chirp Typhoon, get back in the conversation.

'Waiting. Until the atmosphere was under control again and only then did we start acting' Tora's tone of voice seemed so certain. 'Yes already, later we discuss again, because I have an important task for both of you.'

'Tasks?' reply spontaneous.

He's still there. Still in the same position with routine activities as the previous days.

'Still a red rose?' my broom as usual..

'Eh, you again?' reply spontaneous. The same response every time I met him. 'Ain't!. This time the white rose' he continued assured.

'Who said it was a white rose? It's still the same flower as yesterday' I said.

'Still don't believe it? Ask someone else again, the answer must be red.'

He just went back to doing the same thing he did yesterday. Ask everyone who passes in front of him just to be sure of his belief.

'How?' ask me after he gets back to his place.

'I'm still wrong.' The answer is as if in despair.

'Yes already, this time let me buy it all.'

'Don't!'

'Why?' i'm rattled.

'I'll keep this flower' he replied.

'Cok, even in storage? Don't you need the money?'

'I will keep this flower until I can look back, I will prove it if I'm not wrong all this time.' Excite me.

I smile.

'Oh yes, I have something for you.' I gave her a brown package.

'What is this?' He looks confused.

'Hopefully it can help you a little bit to do eye surgery'

'you mean?' He seems more confused.

'This is 100 million.' money.'

'What? 100 million?'

My steps are quickly disorganized. Run as hard as you can while occasionally allowing a view towards the back. My body trembled, fear permeated my soul within.

'Gue has killed people' I murmured softly at the hands full of blood. 'Gue killed, Dragon' I cried hysterically.

Two months later…

'Dai, we have to run out of town!!' exclaimed the Typhoon with such a clear tone of anxiety.

'Out of town?'

'Yes, outside the city. I don't want to be silly here for long. Aray must have rattled Jakarta for our nyari'

'Gue doesn't care…'

'What? Don't care what you said? Besides Aray who's been flirting with us, we're also fugitives, Dai!. Don't you want to live people's lives? Still say you don't care?' The storm looked at me stare.

'Gue is not afraid, and, the cave is tired of having to run away, Pan'

'yeah! I don't understand the same way of mind, Dai. Is this because you don't want to leave the blind girl?' ask Typhoon.

'Yes…!!' Answer's short.

The storm was silent, as if at a loss for words. The atmosphere was silent for a moment.

'Gue doesn't want anything to happen to him' I continued.

'If you don't want bad things to happen to that girl, you better stay away from her!! Because the further you get from him, the safer he is, Dai'

I finally agreed to Cyclone's suggestion to leave Jakarta. But on condition that, before I go missing from Aray's pursuit, I must first meet the rose girl.

'I saw him, didn't I?' the Typhoon said as I watched the girl from a distance. 'And now is the time to go.'

'But, Pan…'

'But what else?' the Typhoon Grunts were irritated.

'Let me stretch him up close. Please, this is for the last time, ' I asked.

The cyclone nodded his head. I knew he was forced to let me meet the girl.

He was still standing in an ordinary place and still doing the same activities. But his appearance looks very different. He can see back.

'The flower, Ma'am.. 15 thousand sprigs, for a loved one,'

'There is a white rose?' my many.

'White roses?' he looked at me with a confused expression. 'Is this not a white rose?'

Not as usual, now he doesn't recognize me. Probably because he has not heard my voice in two months.

'No, it's a red rose.'

'Red roses?' he looked at me sharply. 'You…'

I smiled too. It turned out that he realized that this was me. The one who had always met him to celebrate the white rose.

His eyes are also glazed. A stream of fine water drenched the corners of his eyes.

'So, you…?' his cries exploded along with the eruption of firearms that were heard breaking the noise.

My body fell to the asphalt. Fresh blood smelling rancid all over my body. A hot lead has lodged in my headstone.

The rose girl was crying hysterically beside me. The flowers he was holding turned instantly red.

A few seconds before everything went dark only one word could still be said from my mouth. 'I want a white rose…'

The girl is getting hysterical. This is the first time he's wanted to prove to me that he's been right about the white roses he's had. But it's too late.

Because…

The white rose had changed its color to blood red…
