Title: A pair of Horus Eyes

_________________________

I was a pair of eyes that carried a curse from birth. In the dark and in the view that looks is just a nightmare. I was a pair of eyes that could not see anything about beauty. All my life all I've seen is something about bad. Until now I could not see how beautiful the sunrise was accompanied by a sheen of light or the beautiful sun dusk coupled with a tinge of pink color.

I also can not enjoy the beautiful white sand that smooth met with the blue sea water from a distance on the beach or see up close how the fish dance between the legs on the colored corals green and covered with water. In fact, I never knew what my true face was because every time I looked in the mirror, what was plastered in front of me was a ugly face, full of scratches and cuts and eyes that lit up red. Maybe that's my real face. But maybe my brother's face, the faces of my friends and all the faces of the people I've seen are all ugly too, full of scratches and almost the same wounds.

At my age now I am no longer confused or surprised when I see other faces that are very creepy. Maybe you're used to this. I never told anyone about my disorder. I first realized this advantage of mine when I was in First High School.

“Hei bro, try that look at the girl who is sitting in front of class 7F.” said my friend during the break.

“Emang why?”

“Such beauty yes. The kids agreed it was the prima donna of SMP we loh”

“Ah, cook kayak is beautiful anyway.”

“Crazy, already smooth skin, white, straight black hair. Bilingual class anyway. Less let alone try.”

“White? Subtle? not that he's the same as the others.”

“You have eye pain or anything. I'm not the only one who said that she was beautiful. All the guys would agree with me. Or maybe you don't like girls ya.”

Being cornered with such a statement made me look for a more reasonable answer. It is also impossible for me to tell you how stupid these eyes are.

And sure enough, sentence, “you hurt eyes” or “you don't like girls huh?” the more I have heard since that day even though the ones saying it were different people. In High School it was the second sentence that was often thrown at me. There was a girl from another class who had a crush on me. My friends said she was the most beautiful in her class and not a few also had a crush on her. But when I first met him his face was almost the same as my other friends as well as even my own face which is this ugly. And soon enough the sentence, “you don't like girls?” increasingly reverberating in this High School. And as usual I always hide behind sentences, “not my type.” Classically.

Sitting in college did not bring my bad luck to be better. More and more often hanging out in cafes and malls - places that I have been avoiding. The more girls who hang out at the cafe or girls who just pass by in the mall makes it harder to find reasons for questions.

“look deh, that girl is so beautiful.”

“Bro, who do you think is the most beautiful girl in our class?” Ask one of my friends to open a conversation. The six of them were hanging out at a cafe in the Darmo area.

“Do you know, everything looks similar in class” I replied while lighting a skirt*k.

“How do you mean boy?” Ask others who are interested in this conversation.

“ya how not similar. Yes gsia”

“Ah, your cupu. There was a beautiful girl in class. It's different from the others.”

“However try, all the girls or all the people I see her face full of scratches and creepy injuries plus red eyes lit up. Including you it.” My mind is in my heart. Just try I can tell how scary the faces of my friends are seen from these eyes. Maybe not a saying, “you don't like girls huh?” again and will change, “you are mentally ill.”

On Monday, after college, one of my friends and I went out of class last week after collecting introductory Accounting. My friend and I went out down this hallway to the parking lot. I was so busy with my phone that my friend greeted a girl sitting next to this hallway.

“Hei Fit.”

Reflexively, I also look at the girl. The girl wears a red veil, combined with a red shirt and a red bag, jeans and canvas shoes. His skin was white, his eyes were round with his pupils black, friendly framed brown colored glasses frames. He looked at me and smiled. Are these the things everyone is talking about? is this a word that represents the light of the twilight sun? this is what is called ‘beauty?’
