Title: Is It Happy for Me? (Part 3)
________________
'What do you care about my life? I don't owe you anything, ' he said, as if underestimating the girl in front of him.
'Dicka!' There was a hint of annoyance in Ann's heart, 'wait a minute!'
He ran over to Dicka, who was sitting on his motorcycle, ready to leave.
After catching her breath, Ana said, 'Ka, you don't race anymore, yeah. You can really…'
'Really what?'
'Truly dead.' However, those words were not spoken.
'Oh, don't be so wise to me, God. Belagu. Who do you think I am? I'm not the new kid yesterday afternoon who's learning the way.'
They were silent for a moment, busy with their own thoughts. Ana no longer knows how to persuade Dicka to stop what she thinks is crazy.
Indeed, to Ana's knowledge, Dicka never wanted to be advised by anyone, including his own father. I don't know what his head is made of. Perhaps from the river stone that asked for forgiveness.
'But.' Ana tried again.
'Udah, don't take care of me all. There's no luck. There go!' throw Dicka out rudely.
'You cannot…'
And Dicka was gone, leaving behind a cloud of dust that stifled Ana until she coughed. Dicka was ugly, Ana thought with an erratic feeling.
'Later in the afternoon, there was a race at Joyokusumo Field. You're not coming?' ask Iwan, Dicka's friend.
'What time?' Dick asked back.
'Hour 3pm. Coming?'
'Yes, of course, ' he said optimistically.
'Okay, if that's me first.'
'Lho, what's the rush?'
'Biasalah, there's a little business. It will also be fine as soon as I come.'
'Shoot!' comment Dicka.
Iwan smiled and left the stall quietly.
Dicka continued eating. Since morning, he had not put anything in his mouth, except. Just white water.
He had already spent two large portions eating rice dishes, when he realized that something was wrong. He did not bring any money at all, already given to Iwan for registration of the race later in the afternoon.
How'this? dicka thought she was panicking. No way, he just slipped out. Can be crushed by the masses until battered. Indeed people now tend to be more emotional, including himself. He was not ashamed to admit it either.
After all, his pride did not allow that. Put it where his face is. He is the number one driver in the city. Fortunately, he finally found a way.
'You should thank me, ' Ana said.
'For what?'
'I just saved you from forced labor. My pocket money for two days runs out because of you.'
'A month ago, I saved my life too.'
Ana felt a crushing blow. He couldn't reply to Dicka's words, because everything he said was true. Suddenly, he felt sad.
'Why are you silent?' ask Dicka wonder. It was not usual for this chatty and pretentious Ana to be at a loss for words.
'So...so, you ask for a reward?' ana said in a stifled voice, 'if you don't want to, you didn't need to help me.'
'uh? What's?' Dicka looked at Ana with a face that did not understand.
'Yes, I do owe you one, ' Ana said raspingly, 'what do you want from me?'
Dicka understood now, and then he laughed until his stomach hurt. Ana looked at Dicka wondering.
'Sori, I don't think you're thinking that, ' Dicka said after his laughter subsided.
'Not funny!' Ana pouted in anger. He turned his back to Dicka.
'I never thought you owed me anything. I'm glad you want to be friends with me, well. You are arguably mean, naughty, not real, delinquent.' said Dicka, 'Thank you still pay attention to me,'
'You're not that kind of guy, ' Ana replied, turning around to face Dicka with a serious face.
'Ha.. ha.. ha. Girl, it's so easy to get dibulinized. I was just kidding.'
Ana's feelings become mingled incoherently. He didn't want his cries to break in front of this jerk.
Dicka immediately switched the conversation.
'Look, three o'clock. Joyokusumo Field. I was there. The bias!'
Ana really wanted to prevent. However, he was afraid, if he spoke, his tears would flow out. And, he didn't want that to happen.
Ana waited for a while for her emotions to subside.
'You still…'
'Yes, if I win, I change your money. Don't worry.'
Always has. Dicka always leaves Ana alone.
'Ka, I didn't think about the money, but what I was worried about was you. You, Ka. Why do you never understand?' thought Ana.
So, inevitably, Ana had to go watch. Since this morning, his feelings were not good. He didn't want anything to happen to that guy. However, suddenly Ana herself felt astonished. Why can't he stop thinking about Dicka. Is...he is in love? To Dicka? On his handsome figure? Or, on his athletic body? Ah, impossible. There are many other guys besides him. Until his head became dizzy, he still had not found a satisfactory answer.
Now, Ana was in the midst of the rumbling sound of spectators crowding the outside area of the stadium. Actually, he had already wanted to quickly get out of there, but he held his heart as hard as he could. Yeah, he had to make sure with his own eyes that Dicka was okay.
Ana looks for her figure among the riders. After a few minutes, he found Dicka who was getting ready to ride his motorcycle. For a moment, Ana was relieved. But all of that didn't last long. His heart was pounding again as the race began. All motors are traveling at high speed. Ana even crushes the sticky a few times.
Just heaving a sigh of relief, Ana was surprised at the existence of a motorbike that was shaken by another motorbike. The driver fell a few meters from the crash site. Likewise with the motorbike that is shuffled in some parts, because it swipes the road, causing sparks.
Horrifically. Tomorrow, I don't want to watch a race like this anymore, Ana thought. Moreover, the racer fell only about three meters from where he was standing.
And then he saw the helmet. That motor. Not wrong again, Ana muttered repeatedly.
Without a second thought, Ana immediately jumped towards that racer.
Surely he's not Dicka, Ana's anxious. It's just a nightmare. Then he offered a prayer. Unconcerned, the audience who had looked astonished at him. Maybe they think 'what girl, anyway?' Jump into the arena? But that's business later. The most important thing now is to make sure who is behind that helmet.
Ana opened it very carefully. And, the dream fell away instantly. He saw clearly Dicka's pale face unconscious.
Paramedics arrived a few days later. Dicka was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Ana insists on coming along. Only he knows Dicka.
A few hours after receiving treatment, Dicka finally regained consciousness. He was shocked to see the clock was showing at one o'clock in the night. Moreover, he felt that there was someone beside him. But, who? His father was on duty outside Java.
Ana wakes up and sees Dicka looking at her with a look of wonder.
'Why am I here? Lho, where is this?' He didn't understand for a while. Her body hurts all.
'But, according to your doctor, you do not have a concussion. They misdiagnosed?' thought Ana.
'Ana, why am I in the hospital? I'll be fine.'
'Huf, thankfully you still know me.'
Ana breathes a sigh of relief.
'Listen yes. Last time, the doctor said three ribs were the same as your broken leg.'
'Huh, what?' ask Dicka not to believe it.
'Look at yourself how you are, ' Ann replied as she handed him a mirror.
'I've been like a gini mummy, ' Dicka commented, grimacing in pain.
'Rasain. Wrong himself use speeding everything. I already told you…'
'So, the story is that I can't ride a bike, right?'
Ana looked at Dicka with pity. He knew the racecourse was his life, his world. And, he can't deny it.
'No, kok. Just two months.'
'For that long?'
'Your own careless ways. Try who's bothered, I'm.'
'Oh yeah, why are you here?'
Dicka. Time never knows either? inner Ana.
'Well, than at home. There's no one. Go all, ' said Ana trying to cover up her sadness.
Dicka long o. He had indeed heard that Ana's parents were both successful entrepreneurs. Rarely at home.
'I bought two packs of fried rice. Your appetite may not decrease. After all, the food in the hospital, you know?'
'Thank you much. If you were my girlfriend, I would be very happy, Dicka said.
Ana's heart was pounding, to the point that she was afraid that Dicka would hear her.
'I said what, anyway? Sori, I have to keep taking your bags. I can't change your money either, ' Dicka said. The arrogance Dicka had shown all this time had evaporated somewhere.
Dicka frowned pretending to be annoyed. In her heart, she felt happy. Someone noticed it. Ah, she was really lucky to meet Ana.
For a week, Dicka was in the hospital. Every day, after school, Ana visited him with fruits or food.
She's a good girl, Dicka thought, and I'm a bad guy. Where has there ever been a match?
Dicka is confused right now. He clearly did not have the money to pay for his treatment. He no longer knows what to do. Ana would have helped him, but all this time she had bothered him enough.
Dicka was alone in bed. The day after tomorrow is his return. How'this? He then decided to get up and walk along the hospital hallway. Nervously, Dicka asked the administration.
'Bak, how much will my treatment cost, huh?'
'Sorry, whose name is it?' ask one of the nurses politely.
'Dicka Hermawan S from room 307.'
'Shortly, ' said the nurse, checking from her computer.
Dicka waited anxiously, more anxiously than he had waited for his test results years ago. And, finally the nurse said, 'Oh, everything is paid off.'
Dicka sighed for a moment, but only for a moment.
'Bak didn't lie?' dicka asks to make sure that her ears are still normal.
'You want the coffee structure?'
'Yes, ' he replied very quickly.
Then, he saw the receipt, and looked in disbelief. Nominal listed there up to tens of millions, exactly twenty-five million six hundred and fifty-two thousand rupiah. Wuih, Dicka to the point of imagining it.
Who has helped me? dicka thought, is Ana? Ah, there's no way Ana has that kind of money.
He could not find the answer, and it only added to his dizziness. Ah, think about it later!
It's been almost three months. Dicka felt completely recovered from the damn accident. He was already impatient to get back in the middle of the racecourse. However, a single thought suddenly flashed through his mind, interrupting his way of thinking. Ana forbids him from coming.
He's taken care of lately, deh, Dicka's mind. Indeed, his love for Rossi's world has reached a chronic level. It's hard to cure. Ana would not be able to persuade him either!
'Excuse me, ' Ann said. He was in front of Dicka's house, carrying a fruit basket. The door is half open, but it's like no one.
Suddenly, as she was about to leave, Ana heard Dicka's voice, 'Wait a minute!'
Ana was then welcome to enter.
'What's up, An?' ask Dicka.
'Now, for you, ' said Ana thrusting the basket in her hand. At that moment, he felt Dicka's hand tighten.
'You all right?' Ana saw cold sweat pouring down from Dicka's forehead.
'Your father is home?' ask Ana.
Suddenly, from a room came the voice of a woman.
'Who's that outside, baby?' said mesra.
Ana was shocked. For a moment, he felt like he had not stepped on the ground, drifting somewhere. His mind became chaotic. He was very shocked, like having a heart attack.
'Eh, oh, I'm interrupting, huh?' said Ana, after she desperately forced out her voice.
Dicka. His face also turned pale.
'If so, I go first, ' Ana added as she stepped out.
'An, wait.' said Dicka faltering.
Ana looks. But, again Dicka felt his mouth locked tightly. She did not know what to explain to Ana.
Finally, Ana said, 'Whatever you do, it has nothing to do with me. I'm not your girlfriend, let alone your father. I have no right to forbid what you do. You're an adult, right? I can tell which one is really wrong. But I still believe in you. It is not a lie that you have helped me, treated me well. And, I really appreciate it.'
'Sorry.' Dicka replied. However, then he himself felt astonished as to why he apologized. He's not wrong, though.
Is he really innocent?
After Ana's departure, Dicka pondered. Long time. Apparently, what Ana said was indeed true, he thought.
For some reason, he suddenly felt disgusted with himself. He also promised never to do anything stupid, despicable like that again. Without thinking, Dicka immediately drove the woman away.
At this moment alone like this, he could not forget Ana's gaze earlier. Not a disgusted look! Wasn't it! He's sure of it.
That look, Ana's view was so disappointed. All her life, Dicka didn't want to see her again. For some reason, when imagining the incident, his heart was always slashed with a knife. So sad.
'How easy! Your accent is top!' said Iwan.
'Who was it, dong!' randi replied arrogantly, 'the founder of Dicka's motorbike was like scuffing ants. Straight to the time I hit from behind. Let all of you mampus.'
'Thanks yes, bro. Money's enough, right?'
'Yes, there is no problem. In this way, you can become a champion without any obstacles.'
'Toast for both of us, ' said Iwan. Then, they raised the glass high and banged it in the air.
In her seat, Dicka felt very furious. His anger has reached the sea. Accidentally, he overheard their conversation. It felt, he was anxious to kill those sneakers. The table is just a few steps away from them. However, many people were in that restaurant. His actions would definitely be very conspicuous. Even the police don't want to talk about it. Moreover, right now Ana was in front of him who insisted on coming along. For her healing party, Ana said earlier.
'Ka, relax. Don't do anything, ' said Ana. Apparently, he had also heard their talk.
'Come on, we'll get out of here, ' take Ana.
Ana really understood him. He felt like he had someone who always looked after him, never leaving him. And, I don't know why he wants this to go on forever.
Dicka rode his motorcycle recklessly. Passing cars, overtaking trucks and buses. Actually, Ana was scared, but she kept quiet and closed her eyes in horror. The line between life and death is so thin. If only an accident.., he tried desperately not to think about it. Because, he knows if Dicka's mood is bad.
Finally, Ana could breathe a sigh of relief as well. Dicka finally stopped the bike. When she opened her eyes, Ana saw a beautiful city park. Flowers bloomed on the edges, and leaves fell, plus there was a slow wind. Romantic place, her heart. However, the thought was immediately thrown away. How could Dicka think the same way as himself?
Right now, they were sitting on a bench painted white.
'Just look! I'll reply to them, later!' dicka shouted while clenching her fists. Apparently, he's still bullied by the incident earlier. Ana until the head gurgles saw it.
'Then, what do you want?' asked Ana softly, almost inaudible.
'me? I will beat them to death and not be able to wake up for half a year, Dicka replied. His current mind was indeed full of lust for revenge.
'After teaching them what do you get? Nothing, ' explained Ana.
Dicka pensive. Inwardly, he confirmed Ana's words. In doing so, he would trouble many people, including Ana and her father. However, he will be accompanied by his pride if he lets the clambers freely waltz away.
'Ah, to hell with self-esteem. It's been a long time since I've had no self-respect, ' Dicka finally broke up.
'You're right, An. There's no point in me challenging them.'
'Here you go, let's just say the accident was God's warning to you.'
'God?'
'Yes.'
'There has never been a God in my life.'
Ana wonders in her heart why Dicka said that. And, it turns out that she didn't have to wait for the answer to come out of Dicka's mouth.
'Once, every day, when I was a child, I prayed that God would bring my mother back home, back to my side. I waited, and kept waiting, until I felt so tired. But God still does not want to hear my prayer. Finally, I decided that I hated him.
The incident had been going on for a long time, but it still lingers in Dicka's memory, until now.
I am sure that one day God will listen to you, Ana.
'Come on, let's go for a walk, ' take Ana. And, unknowingly, she was holding Dicka's hand.
'Hey.don't pull my hand, dong. You are not a child anymore.'
'Oh, sori, ' Ana replied as she quickly let go of Dicka's hand.
They also take a walk around the park.
'Hey, how can we be like someone who's dating?' Dicka just meant to joke around, but Ann suddenly became nervous. His hands were frozen, very cold. In fact, he was no longer able to chimed in Dicka's words. Only the word 'oh', 'ah' comes out. However, Dicka was completely unaware of it.
After looking around, seeing what? inner Ana, Iha most of what they saw were people who were dating.
'Let's go home, ' Dicka said to Ana's surprise.
Dicka held Ana's hand. The surprised Ana immediately let go of her hand.
'Oops, sori. Unaware. The atmosphere is supportive, anyway. After all, it's a habit, ' Dicka said apologizing.
'It's habitual?' asked Ana confused.
'Gini. Those girls like to stick with me. I'm cute, anyway. Usually, they want me to go on, keep on…'
'Had! It's already! Narcissistic guy, ' Ana interjects. He didn't want to hear Dicka's story.
'Ha. ha. ha. ha.., it has nothing to do, yes, ' Dicka said with a laugh. His anger had evaporated somewhere.
Ana quickens her pace, leaving Dicka still clueless.
'Eh, An. Waitaminute!' dicka said after waking up from her daydreams.
Finally, she manages to also teach Ana steps. Suddenly, Dicka said, 'But you are so different. Not like other cute girls.'
Want to not want to, Ana's heart thumped. Well, why is my heart constantly shocked today, anyway? inner Ana.
When he can tell his feelings honestly, he loves Dicka. Otherwise, why was he always defending her, helping her. Love is sometimes strange. Why he can admire a guy whose hobby is just racing, fighting there are no hatchets. However, he never got a logical answer.
Dicka never knew, if Ana held his heart all out even though it was very torturous. He did not want Dicka to assume that he had tarnished their friendship. A pal? Yeah, they're just friends. Not more.
