The car slowly entered the school area, making the school guards run towards our car and ascertaining our identity. It didn't take long until the school gate finally opened and I could look back at the school that I had left for the past few days and would leave next. The raindrops were still falling, making my class that should be currently exercising seemed to be on the indoor court. Arthur opened the car door as soon as we got to the parking lot. I picked up a bouquet of marigolds and tried to cover it with the jacket I was wearing.
"I'm holding an umbrella, the flower won't get wet" Arthur said as soon as he realized I wasn't getting out of the car.
"Thank you."
We walked to my classroom, of course, with a few bodyguards. Ken also obeyed Arthur by keeping 1 meter away from me. Several times I could see him looking at me every time I looked back to make sure Arthur stayed behind me.
"I'm not going to attack him. Calm down," said Arthur after the fifth time I turned towards him.
"Sorry."
Arthur pulled my hand gently, made me stop my footsteps and of course made everything that was walking behind us come to a stop. Arthur squatted his body and fixed my shoelaces. Actually my shoelaces are not too loose and do not harm me because if it is enough to harm me then Uncle Stephan will immediately tell me to fix it.
"I will always protect you."
"I know, you've said that many times."
"I have to go to the VIP room for a bit. After putting this flower down, go straight back into the car."
I immediately nodded and continued to stare at Arthur's back until it finally disappeared. A few of the bodyguards that were previously with me also followed Arthur, leaving uncle. I think uncle's enough to protect me. Even if Ken wants to do something bad right now, uncle can handle it.
I walked back after the uncle gave me a gaze asking if I would stay still on the spot or go back to the classroom. Some kids stick their heads out as soon as they see me and Ken goes through their classrooms. Not even just the students, the teachers also immediately silently stared at me, although for a few seconds before finally returning to the focus of teaching and scolding the students who stuck their heads through the window.
My footsteps stopped in front of the notice board, there was not a single announcement about Natasha's death, there was only an announcement about the reshuffling of the newly installed members of the school discipline today. Of course there will be a reshuffle of disciplinary members considering Felix also went along with Natasha.
"I carry a pen but not paper. Can Miss rewind for a moment?" asked uncle after I quietly observed the notice board for 1 minute.
I obeyed the request of the uncle and without further ado the uncle directly punched the glass of the notice board, making the sound of broken glass sound throughout the hallway. Ken and his bodyguard were quite surprised to see what the uncle was doing. Uncle took a piece of poster attached to the notice board and gave it to me, of course, with the pen he was carrying. Next the uncle pressed something on his watch that was connected to the earpiece of the other bodyguards, asking the other guard who heard to call the janitor to come to our place. While I started writing something behind the poster that Uncle gave me.
'Natasha, have a tight sleep and a nice dream. Thank you for teaching me the meaning of simplicity and love.'
As soon as I finished writing, I walked towards the notice board. Uncle instantly prevented me from approaching the notice board closer than where I was standing right now, worried that the broken glass would hurt me. The janitor also actually came and was cleaning the scattered glass fragments. Before Uncle took the poster paper from my hand, I pulled a single stalk of marigold from the bouquet, hoping that uncle could put it together with the poster paper. Uncle took a few small pins from the other posters, making the other posters fall to the floor. Then Uncle stuck a pin to the poster paper along with a sprig of marigold flowers I gave him.
"Is it enough Miss?"
"Thank you, Uncle."
Uncle walked up to me and asked me to walk outside the broken glass area. I followed his orders without a single question.
I went straight to where Natasha used to sit when she got to class, a place that might be a pain for her for a few months. I asked my uncle to be out of class and it made him ask Ken to stay out of class. I put a bouquet of merigold flowers on the table. Even when I wish there was one person who treated Natasha well after what happened, no one did. If after this, the notice board was full of condolences and the table was full of flowers, I'm sure it was because I started it. Even at times like this, they still look and submit to power rather than their humanity.
"Why marigold?"
I looked towards the source of the voice where Ken was sitting on the bench next to me. I looked towards the uncle who was now just nodding his head and kept watching me. Looks like Ken said something to the point that uncle let him near me. I quietly did not answer his question and just quietly observed him who was currently taking out a ring box from inside his jacket pocket.
He hesitated towards the table where I was sitting and placed the ring box before he finally returned again to sit on the bench next to me. I looked at the open ring box, a pair of rings inside. I saw the engraving of the letters K and N on top of the ring, the ring with the same brand as the one I had ordered for my engagement to her which ended with the cancellation of the booking. I also read the inscription engraved in the ring box, a sentence I should not have read.
'Thank you for making me realize how I feel.'
"She has a sad love story" I finally replied as uncomfortable with the gaze Ken kept giving.
"Aren't you supposed to give her flowers to make her have a happy love in her next life?"
"I want to make her have a beautiful love wherever she is and this flower is the final frontier of her sad love story."
“Last boundary?” muttered.
"They?!" call Arthur with a worried voice and breath.
"What's wrong?" tanyaku immediately stood up in shock to hear Arthur's worried voice.
"Something happened to William, the helicopter picked me up on the roof of the school. Go home without me."
"What happened to Will?"
"I'll tell you later, now, please go home."
"Let me drive him. I'll make sure he gets home and calls you right away" Ken said, prompting Arthur to take his eyes off me. Arthur just nodded and gave a sign to uncle to take good care of me.
Arthur clasped my hand and ruffled my hair straight before running back to the roof of the school.
I looked back at the bouquet of marigolds on Natasha's desk after not being able to see Arthur's body. The flower was actually meant for myself.
